THE DEMON HUNTER???

?️EPISODE 8?️

Nick closed the door immediately and took to his heels running as fast as he could.

He could hear loud bangs on the door as he looked back.

The door broke open and inferno leapt out hissing loudly.

Inferno jumped on the wall and gripping it with his claw he crawled swiftly on it toward nick.

Nick never knew he was approaching a nurse until he turned his face to her and almost colliding he dashed to the left.

Inferno flew from the wall to grab nick but with that swift dash he fell on the nurse instead.

Inferno forces his fangs into her neck and ripped out her throat, she became an infant immediately.

Nick continued running for his life feeling guilty for the nurse death as he heard her voice screaming loudly.

"Hey hey where are you going to? Ain't you suppose to be in your ward". Another nurse asked.

He ignored her and ran straight into the elevator.

He quickly pressed floor 1 but the elevator was jammed.

He continued pressing it furiously as inferno appeared from a far away corridor.

The nurse screamed out as he leapt On her and grabbing her neck he forced his claw into her chest and pulled out her heart, she shook vigorously until she shrinks into an infant.

Tears were already forming in Nick's eyes.

Inferno's mouth open wide and he swallowed the heart.

There was a loud burst in the his stomach and sprayed out blood into the elevator.

The whole place was filled with a Disgusting odour that nick had so cover his nose still trying to make the elevator move.

Inferno walker slowly toward the elevator and his cheek began to blush.

"What sort of demon is this?". Nick thought forgetting his current predicament.

Luckily there was a shush sound and the elevator began to close up.

Inferno roared out and leapt forward grabbing the both door with his hand so he can gain entrance into it.

Nick moved backward as he tried to bit him.

Inferno's head entered into the elevator and he tried to push the rest of his body in.

Nick heaved heavily and moving a little bit forward he kicked inferno head and he crashed to the ground.

The elevator closed up immediately and retardates down.

Inferno jumped on top and began to smash it with all his might.

Nick looked up and saw cracks with heavy bangs.

His heart began to beat heavily as Inferno's hand broke into the elevator and began to shred it open with his claw..

The elevator finally stops at the first floor and Nick pressed floor 5 before diving out just as inferno was able to gain access into it.

Inferno grabbed the both door again trying to get out but nick kicked his scary face and he fell back.

The elevator closed up and began accelerates away to the 5th floor.

Nick ran out of the hospital immediately.

He boarded a taxi and went straight to his house.

He staggered into his house and climbed the stairs to his room.

"Nick is that you". He heard his uncle's voice from the dining.

"Yes uncle It's me". He replied

"Where have you been and what is it i hear about your school?". Harry said.

"I dragon attacked and the students were forced to leave the school premises, i later left for AMC where i was told that it was a demon attack". Nick said.

"Is that all?". Harry asked.

"if i may ask have you taken the mantle to become the Demon Hunter".

"Yes uncle, since it's my turn to take the legacy i shouldn't disappoint my fathers and this city needs a hero cos this demon have started the crises already". Nick said.

"I heard that deception released all the demons and they're all free now". Harry said.

"Yes uncle, Two are at large, it's only a matter of time before they all show up". Nick said.

"Then use your sense nick, take out this two before the rest shows up else they'll be too many for you". Harry said.

"I'll try uncle". Nick said.

"But be careful they're extremely dangerous". Harry said and left.

Nick made to leave too but his phone rang.

It was Mr. Frank.

"Hey Nick where are you? Hope you are okay". Mr.. Frank asked.

"Yeah. I narrowly escaped inferno". Nick said.

"Just got a report of it now, where are you?". He asked.

"At home". Nick replied.

"Wait! Am coming to pick you up right away". He said.

"But i haven't healed properly". Nick said raising his cloth up but the wound was all healed without a scar.

"Okay then but I have to change this ward cloth". Nick said and disconnected the call.

Few minutes later nick was in Mr. Frank's car heading for AMC.

"It's good you took my advice not to". Mr. Frank said.

"But i feel guilty like I let it out. Unice informed Me that there was a presence of evil and i followed up two men carrying a body to the Mortuary, even after seeing the merged triangle sign ✡️ i still peeped in, the body turned the two men to infants and eat the heart of one of them, it was then that i knew that it was inferno, he went after me and killed the two nurse he saw while chasing me. That was how I narrowly escapee ". Nick said.

" Don't blame yourself for anyone's death nick, if you hadn't gone to the Mortuary and saw what happened giving you time to escape if you had remained in the ward inferno might have left the Mortuary to your ward and killed you there, Inferno killed 10 people in the hospital today and they'll be more blood shed ". Mr. Frank said.

" Oh my God ". Nick exclaimed.

They got to AMC and entered into the building, they went straight for Mr. Frank's office.

" It's high time you stop running away from a fight nick, it's time to stand up and fight face to face with these demons". Mr. Frank said.

"You're here to teach me combat". Nick asked.

"No. A demon hunter don't need training, They undergo a process called Transfer X". Mr. Frank said.

"What's that?". Nick asked.

"Demon hunters have advanced fighting skills different from human but they have to be embedded in them". Mr. Frank said.

"How?". Nick asked.

Mr. Frank picked up a big book from the table that looks like a dictionary.

"Am gonna read all of that". Nick asked.

"No. Am gonna Transfer them". Mr. Frank.

"I don't seems to get you". Nick said.

"Sit nick". He said and Nick sat.

He placed a metal helmet ⛑ on his head in which several wires were connected together.

A plugged a cable into it and heaved heavily holding the USB cable tip.

"What are you doing Mr. Frank?". Nick asked.

"Transfer X". He said and plugged the cord into the USB port on the book.

Nick screamed out as as electricity passed from the book through the wires into the head.

After ten seconds it stops and Mr. Frank takes off the helmet.

Nick eyes was shut with heads bow.

"Nick are you alright?". He asked.

"Yeah. Just a slight headache what have you done to me?". Nick asked.

"I transferred all the combats skills you need into your memory". Mr. Frank said.

"How's that possible?". Nick asked.

"We are in modern Era nick where everything is possible especially for a demon hunter". Mr. Frank said.

"I only feel a headache and no combat memories". Nick said.

"Tell Unice to activate it he's responsible for advanced activities". Mr. Frank said.

"So what code should I use cos Unice doesn't listen to mere words". Nick said.

"Initialize Transfer X". Mr. Frank said.

"Really?". Nick said and heaved heavily.

"Unice initialize Full amour.... Sorry... Initialize Transfer X". Nick said.

"access denied". Unice said and Nick stared at Mr. Frank.

"You said rubbish and it replied rubbish". Mr. Frank said standing Akimbo.

"Unice, initialize Transfer X". Nick said.

"Scanning... Scanning...please wait!". Unice Said.

"Transfer X found. Initializing Transfer X, permission to make activate". Unice said.

"Activate". Nick said.

"Transfer X activated, effect will take place in 3, 2, 1,.. Now".

Nick screamed out holding his head as he felt wave of electricity passing through his brain.

It finally stopped and Unice spoke.

"Operation Completed".

Nick was extremely surprise and combats skills started flowing in his head, it was like a voice speaking gently into his ears.

In seconds his brain was already embedded with fighting skills.

"It worked". Nick said.

"i feel more powerful". Nick said.

Mr. Frank's phone vibrated and he stared at the screen.

"Drago attacked again and is headed for Walmart Street". Mr. Frank said.

"Well nick stay away from demons you're a novice". Nick said and they laughed.

"You're a pro nick and ain't hiding in shadows anymore". Mr. Frank said and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"I should go? ". Nick asked.

"If you don't go nick who else will but no this nick your father made a mistake and i will not let you Make same". Mr. Frank said and Nick paused.

"if he had killed those demons and not imprisoned them they wouldn't have been back, he thought there was a human in the demons but he found out they're all walking dead with no brain, no memory but that cost him his life". Mr. Frank said and cleaned the tears in his eyes.

"You might think am a bad person asking you to kill but I promised to protect you and won't hide that fact from you". Mr. Frank said.

"These ain't Humans that will make me guilty if I kill them, they're monsters and don't deserve to be part of the human race, if they ain't sent to extinction then they'll send to it ". Nick said and Mr. Frank nodded.

" What must be done sir? ". Nick asked.

" There's a dynamite in the corridor that lead here, it's capable of destroying an entire building and still capable to destroying a demon ". Mr. Frank said.

" Then off i go ". Nick said.

"whereas how am i able to drive a bike when i haven't done it before". Nick asked.

"Your costumes are a part of you, The bike is controlled with your brain". Mr. Frank said.

"Wow! Now I understand, i was actually driving or physical. Off i go ". Nick said and made to leave.

"Be careful nick". Mr. Frank said and he nodded.

?️?️Few Minutes Later

A red bike speed out of AMC and drove into the streets.

It was nick, now in his red costume.

He drove crazily through the street dodging cars from left to right making people to wonder who the crazy boy in costume is.

They got into Walmart Street and drove straight through free road.

Screams filled the air as Drago ? flew around spraying fire all over building and on the streets.

Nick added more speed and the twisted the handle he was holding up with the gun attached to it pointing up he squeezed the trigger and bullets rained on the dragon and it roared loudly.

Drago turned fire and sprayed fire at nick but he did a back lift from his bike and landed safely.

Like magic the bike Paused it motion immediately.

The dragon flew low and spread out its wings flying straight at nick puffing fire ahead of itself.

Nick drew out one of the sword in the sheath at his back and somersaulted to the left with his sword up thereby escaping the fire.

The pointed sword slashed the wings of the dragon and it snared using its wings to hit nick away.

Nick crashed roughly to the wall and his sword hung above his head.

Drago flew at nick again now with a super speed.

Nick pulled out the other sword from his and charged at it too.

He bounced on the wall to slash Drago but it used it tail to block it.

Nick landed at the front and the dragon puffed out fire which hits him to the ground.

He rose up weakly and used his left hand to draw out one of his gun.

He shot repeatedly at Drago with it sprayed out fire which melted the bullet.

Nick leapt over the fire to stab the dragon but Drago's tail seized him and threw him up to the sky.

Nick felt the fresh breeze passing through his skin as he accelerated and as we all know, it turned into retardation and he fell freely back to the earth.

He mind controlled the bike to fly up and landed on it in the air.

He projected the bike back to the ground squeezing the trigger of the gun attached to the handle of the bike.

The dragon roared covering it body with its wings as bullet splatters On it.

Just as the bike landed on the ground nick dived out of it and made to stab through the wings with the sword but Drago opened out its wings Hitting nick away and the sword plus his gun fell from his hand.

He rose up slowly and turned to the front immediately Just as Drago ? puffed fire at him.

Nick took to his heels running toward the building ahead of him.

The dragon flew after him spraying out fire from its mouth to burn him.

Nick climbed the building with his legs only and pulled out his first sword which was stuck there.

He pulled it out and thereby initiated a bounce back lift.

He landed on top of the dragon and drove the sword into its neck.

Nick initiated another back flip and landed away from the dragon.

Drago roared out puffing fire to the sky.

Nick took the dynamite on his shoulder and squat beside the burning ? fire made by the dragon.

He puts the wire which was attached to the top of the dynamite into the fire and it began to burn.

If it's gets to the body of the dynamite it was going to explode.

Nick took few steps backwards and as Drago turned back to pour fire on him nick threw the dynamite into its mouth and speed away.

He then remembered that his sword was stuck at the dragons back and his weapons were beside it.

His brain calculated so fast.

"Unice, Initialize the Blue glider Outfit". Nick said.

"Retrieving Previous". Unice replied.

All his weapons turned into rays of light and flew back to the watch including his wears.

The dynamite exploded at there was a loud boom! As Drago scatters to pieces and the whole ground shook throwing nick away.

"Blue GLIDER Selected". Unice said and the Projected outfit enters into his body and he landed with the blue glider costume as smoke paraded at the scene.

He looked back and saw ashes plus blood all over the scene not excluding fire and smoke.

He mind control his bike to his front and mounting it to he drove away speedily.

???THAT NIGHT ???

????7:00PM????

Two boys Walked into an apartment and pushed open the door to a room and entered.

"Today was damn stressful Morris". One of the boy said.

"Yeah Jude , am going to bed right away". Morris said.

"Me too". Jude said.

Morris collapsed unto the bed staring at the ceiling.

He suddenly jumped up.

"Hey bro look at that wall gecko ?". He said pointing to gecko on the wall.

"i wonder how it got it well leave the poor creature i don't have the strength to kill it". Jude said..

"So we leave it to sleep with us?". Morris asked.

"Leave the creature alone Morris, it isn't actually disturbing you, it's solemn on its own maybe it mistakingly got in, by tomorrow if it doesn't leave then we do justice to it". Jude said and collapsed unto the bed too..

"Okay". Morris said.

They closed their eyes and in seconds they were already asleep snoring ? loudly with mouth open.

The wall gecko ? crawled to the ceiling and stops at the middle where the bed was.

It colour sudden changed to black and it fell into Jude mouth.

He coughed out vigorously with black blood pouring from his mouth.

He fell back to the bed and shook vigorously for seconds until he stopped moving.

He Open his eye lid and there was no eyes ? again but a black hole.

He tongue ? projected out and became damp back.

Claws sprout out of his fingers and he rose up sitting on the bed.

He grabbed Morris neck and brought his mouth close to his.

Jude's tongue transformed to a black snake and entered straight into Morris mouth deep into his neck.

Morris shook vigorously bleeding from the nose and ear until he stopped moving.

Jude forced his claws into Morris head and and opened it up.

Morris brain could now be seen.

Jude forces his hand into his own nose and dragged out a black wall gecko ?.

He dropped it into Morris brain and the entire brain became black emitting a black smoke.

Morris eye lid opened but he had no eyes again it was only a hole.

He rose up and stood in front of Jude slaps Morris chest and Morris merged into Jude's body.

Jude walked out of the room and transform to a young lady who was in a white gown with blood all over her face.

The young lady catwalks out of the apartment.
