Chapter 8

Her doorbell rang and she hurried up to get the door. This girl had ordered for pizza. She slide the door opened and found a young man on her.

He had an alluring look that could entice anyone. However, he wasn't smiling or pleased. Perhaps, he just never smiles yet still had his handsome features.

"Your signature" he requested while letting out a yawn and then strained his shoulders. He had just done two detlipveries and all his energy had been drain.

This girl kept admiring him and didn't realizing she was blushing at his presence.

"Signature!" He yelled exhausted. If only she knew he was cussing at her right that moment. This girl jerked back to reality, stuned at the way he yelled, and collected the paper from him but he took it back and said;

"Let's do that inside, it's scorching outside and my skin can't take the heat" he protest and this girl bemused, however, she let him inside the house and offered him a seat.

He scanned the environment she was staying and commented on it. This young man acted as though this was his house.

The delivery boy could detect items that were fake products and pointed it out for the girl who wasn't finding it funny but was impressed.

"How do you know that?" She asked signing the papers and handing it over to him. Louis only pointed two fingers on his head and she got the signal.

"You're awkward but charming," this girl commented expecting him to leave her house but then, he requested for water which the girl handed over to him.

"What's your name?" She asked with a curious gaze at him and he yawned again feeling tired.

"I need a massage, I have never worked this hard all my life" he mused snatching the water from her hand and gulping it down.

This girl blinked at him twice, though she might like this guy at first sight but that doesn't mean he should act like a nuisance.

"Uhmm, don't you think you've got deliveries to do?..."

"I just resigned" he proclaimed stretching his arms and this girl scoffed with disbelief. If he had resigned, why would he be delivering pizza to her?

This girl got intended by his response and began alert at who this young man could turn out be, however, she was misunderstanding him.

To her, this man was dressed as a delivery boy and must have charmed her to crush on him at first sight but he could turn out to be a thug hired by someone to haunt her.

How foolish of she to like him at first sight and even let him inside the house without confirmation of whether he was a delivery personnel or not.

"Who are you? Did my brother send you over?" she inquired as her bright face had turned sad and anxious.

Louis didn't give a respond, rather, his eyes met with some piece of papers which laid on the table opposite him. It was scattered all over a laptop which showed some stock market price.

"Tell me who you're or I call the cops"

Louis raked his brow pissed off by her continuous questions which he wasn't ready to answer. What attracted him was her project which she was getting wrongly.

"Wow, you're so bad at marketing" he responded diverting her words. Why was this guy's reply not corresponding to her questions?

"What do you want from me?" She furthered attempting to protect herself while she tries dialing the cops line but he only said;

"Problem solve, check it out if you approve of it"

Her hands ceased typing the emergency number as his stare made her speechless, while she was panicking, he was solving the issues she had with her project. Despite her cautions that he shouldn't touch her items.

Who could this man be? A lunatic whom she encounters, made her blush at first sight and got her scared through his attitude.

This girl was really terrified by how Louis sat comfortably and was unmoved by her threats to call the police. If she indeed desired to call the cops, Louis believed she would have done that long before now.

She swallowed hard and stood a distance from him, this girl had met with such men before, they were either perverts or thief certainly thugs who were just after rich folks like her.

This girl had intended to live in this neighborhood away from home due to family issues, and had recently moved in two weeks ago. Here she was crushing on a delivery boy, good thing she discovers that he was a lunatic

"Leave my house now!" She ordered shaking and he took the water and left. Geez she was scary. He thought she was friendly but from the looks of it, she was just like others who thinks he's a psycho trying to dominate any house he comes across.

Only Abigail understands him, she was the young lady he was living with and he was missing her already.

Louis glanced at the motorbike he rode here with. He wasn't going to continue in his delivery and would submit his resignation letter because he disliked the job and it stressed him out.

He knew he promised Abigail to get a job just to be contributing to the household needs and not just the poor lady working out her life but from the looks of it, he wouldn't survive long with this hardship.

Louis shook his head and glance at the sun which had brought out its face from the cloudy sky. He told himself he needed to hurry back or would be smitten by the sun.

He was almost starting the engine of the car when this girl ran out and gasped out him. She was grateful she still found him outside about to ignite the engines of the motorbike.

"Gosh you're a genius! How did you do that!"

Really, wasn't she meant to be apologizing for accusing him wrongly and threatening to report him to the cops?

He tapped his head with two fingers and she got the signal again before he rode away.

"Wait!!" She yelled intending for him to stop but he didn't even look back.

"He forgot the money for the pizza" she said and then sigh. She didn't even thank him to resolving the issues she was having in her project. This guy was an angel in disguise and she was longing to see him again.

"He's a clown" he commented and chuckled for the misunderstandings that she had created in her head about him earlier.
