Chapter 36 I need to be respected.

Mirabel and Zane left their parents' mansion, and Zane began the drive home.

He was angry, but so was Mirabel. The atmosphere in the car was tense and suffocating, so she rolled down the window to let some cool breeze in.

The tension between them was so strong that it was possible to cut it with a pair of scissors. Zane was so angry at the action she took in his family house that she had no right whatsoever to insult his aunt.

After a long, awkward silence, Zane spoke.

"You know, like what? You insulted and offended my aunt in her own home. She was so hurt. "

He yelled at her, his hands gripping the stirring wheel so tightly that his knuckles were white.
