Episode 6 : Ding!

Sebastian Rodrigo a galant man with very long white hair pushed away the bottles of alcohol before him and breathed out in fury.

His eyes were red from anger and he is beyond pacifying. His men in the living room quickly move to a safe distance.

They know that murderous look on his face and they fear to be a victim.

" What did you just say, uncle? Didn't you say you saw a man who looks like Javad de Venta or a man who IS Javad de Venta? "

Vicente's lips were quivering when he answered.

" Sebastian the man I saw... Is Javad. He is the real son of de Venta. He is alive. He is different now "

" It can't be. I order his death twelve years ago. The man you saw can't be Javad. He is dead! "

" I think you should calm down Boss. There is no way Javad is... "

One of Sebastian's men was saying but he ended up getting shot in the head. The rest stood transfixed in fear.

" He has no fear in his eyes Sebastian " Vicente continues as though nothing horrible had taken place. " The man I saw is Javad. No one will dare enter my home and take my maids. He is the one "

Sebastian was left in a puzzle. All of a sudden he looked up to his two men, Diego and Tomas who stood in a corner.

With a gun in his hand, he marched forward to them. The two were out of breath already.

" You were the ones I sent to kill Javad. You return with words of your deeds. How come he is still alive today? "

The fear that gripped their heart made them confess immediately.

" Boss we have sinned. Javad's father took the bullet for him. Before we realized this Javad is gone "

" Gone? " Sebastian repeated dully. His forefinger is already on the trigger. He shut his eyes and sigh.

" Did you know what your negligence has caused today? " He asked gently but everyone knows it was only a matter of time before he exploded in anger.

" Boss we... Did wrong and we apologized but.. "

" But? "

" Please... Spare us. I heard the de Venta clan is staying at an old house not too far.

" Order us to set the place ablaze. Even if Javad is alive there won't be any followers for him "

At this suggestion, Sebastian let out a sigh. That didn't make him put away his gun.

" I love your ideas but I will still have to make you pay for deceiving me "

Sebastian held the gun to their skull and at once the two shut their eyes in fear.

At that moment the door opens and Zesa Crow walks in, interrupting the moment and saving the two miraculously.

" Sebastian, what is going on? I heard in the news that a new boss is taking over all the inheritance. Does that mean my enterprise will be going down? "

The boss stopped abruptly at the words from Zesa.

" Put on the TV " He ordered no one in particular but three of his men scrambled to obey.

The TV was put on and the newscaster was busy talking about the de Venta clan.

" It's pretty fast. I see Cassius Montero, that stupid consigliere is still breathing and hardworking just like always " Sebastian said with a scoff.

He turns to Zesa and replies.

" You have listened to the wrong information Zesa. I am the boss of this fort. No one takes away the enterprises that I look after "

" And what if this Javad de Venta truly is back? What if he arrived to claim my... "

" It wasn't your enterprise Zesa! " Sebastian yelled out angrily to the man in a suit. " You are just my stooge. A decoy, a puppet. Do not let this skip your mind for any seconds "

Sebastian glared once at him and then look over to his two men Diego and Tomas who were already on their knees.

" I will give you both another chance. Set their house ablaze. I would like to hear about the flames in the news too "

" What if Javad is in there with them too? "

" You bring his body. It's been years since I have seen his face. He was once my best friend. He, Cassius, and I. At least I should give him a befitting burial "

" Where are you off to Javad? " Cassius asked urgently as he block his way. " You shouldn't be leaving the clan for any seconds. Your life is literally in danger now "

However, Javad didn't respond. He only look around at the people who had already settled down.

They were supposed to go to bed but they aren't. It's a precautionary situation and everyone has to be on the alert.

Javad de Venta bypassed Cassius and headed toward the car. Cassius immediately followed him and he watched as Javad drive off.

It took Cassius just a few seconds before he saw what exactly has been going on.

Javad had driven to the ruined house his clan just evacuated. There, medias and people were.

The flames went up high before everyone's eyes. Cassius was stunned at this.

Immediately he alighted and dashes towards the house but he was held by the people.

" What happened? Who set the house ablaze? " He asked no one in particular but a kind man replied.

" It is still unknown. People live here you know. The de Venta clan. They would have been burnt to death if they were still here "

" Yes," Another chipped in. " It is a miracle they evacuated the building this night. Who would have thought this will take place? "

Upon hearing this Cassius shuddered slightly. He turns his head and looks ahead to the man. The mighty Javad de Venta.

He had already alighted from the car and was leaning over it now gingerly.

Cassius made his way to him immediately, his eyes gleaming with curiosity.

" How did you know about this Javad? How did you know danger is coming? And do not tell me it's a hunch. I won't believe that excuse "

Javad looks up to his friend's face and smiles gently for the first time in years.

" Have you ever heard about Revenge System being Activated? Where a robotic voice would tell you what would happen in the next two hours?

" I am made the host Cassius. When I thought I'd die from agony and goes completely blind, I heard the Word. Ding! "
