Peter arrived late to class, which was unusual for him since he was always punctual. However, the events of the previous day had left him feeling weak, and he had dozed off. His mother had to wake him up twice before he finally responded, and when he glanced at the time, he was startled and quickly rushed out of the house.

As the teacher was writing on the board, he silently entered the classroom and took a seat. James spoke up, "Hey, why are you late?"

In a hushed tone, Peter responded, "It was a long night."

James muttered, "No one knows what kind of darkness has taken hold of them. I saw the principal this morning, shouting at a student with his bald head and booming voice. Little did he know that he was a lifeless corpse just a day ago." Peter scoffed at the comment, turning his attention away from the teacher.

The teacher barked, "You two, out!" When they hesitated, he repeated the command with a stern gaze. Scott suddenly stood up and announced, "I need to use the restroom," without waiting for a response. Peter and James exchanged bewildered looks before bursting into laughter, joking about the discomfort he must be feeling. The teacher scolded them and turned his attention back to Scott and the rest of the class.

With a serious tone, he ordered, "Both of you, leave!" Peter and James reluctantly left the classroom.

Inside the class, students exchanged glances, unsure of what was happening. The teacher instructed them to continue with their work as they heard the sound of shattering glass. Peter and James quickly identified the source as Scott's restroom.

Peter tried to open the door, but it was locked. He called out, "Hey, Scott, open up!" There was no response, only an eerie howling sound coming from inside.

Three teachers arrived on the scene, as each class had two teachers assigned. Mrs. Alexia, one of the female teachers, asked, "What's going on here?"

Peter continued pounding on the door, but there was still no answer. Scott had felt something growing inside him ever since he woke up. It was as if another being was trapped within him, desperate to break free. He managed to come to school, but now the entity within him was trying to escape. He excused himself and hurriedly locked himself in the restroom. He noticed changes in his appearance, with his hair growing longer and changing color, and his teeth taking on a more menacing form.

Peter knocked on the door, recognizing Scott but feeling powerless to stop himself. With some effort, they managed to pry open the door and rushed inside. They found Scott lying on the ground, blood streaming from his hand, with a piece of broken glass nearby.

Peter tried to wake him up, calling his name, "Scott," but there was no response. Mr. Will, one of the teachers, instructed them to take him to the hospital, and they followed his directive.

Peter, James, and Sarah gathered together to discuss what had happened to Scott, concluding that it was somehow connected to the incident from the previous night and that it could happen again.

Just then, Derek approached them, seemingly ready for a fight. He grabbed Peter by the collar and angrily demanded, "What did you do to my friends?"

Confused, Peter asked, "What do you mean?"

Derek yelled, "Last night... they couldn't remember what happened. What did you do to them?" The other students watched, anticipating what might happen next. Derek glared at them and ordered them to disappear, and so they did.

The rest of the group was puzzled as to why Derek was able to remember while they had forgotten.

Trying to diffuse the tension, James attempted to calm Derek down by saying, "Calm down, let's talk about this." But Derek's anger didn't seem to subside. He demanded the truth immediately and dismissed any suggestion to calm down.

Peter, exchanging glances with the others, asked, "How do we handle this situation?" They were interrupted by the sound of glass shattering and a growl coming from the hospital. Without hesitation, they rushed to the area where Scott had been, only to find that he had disappeared once again. They noticed the empty bed next to the broken window.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Johnson, Scott's mother, received news of her son's disappearance while she was at her law firm. She hurriedly went to his room and was shocked to find him there. She approached him gently but realized he was deeply asleep and drenched in sweat, despite claiming nothing was wrong.

Examining him, she noticed his body temperature was extremely high. Concerned, she asked how he was feeling, but he simply replied, "Fine." The television in the room displayed a news report about a prison break, adding to their confusion.

Scott's mother inquired about what was truly happening, and he revealed, "I feel like something is growing inside me, desperate to come out." James sat beside him, holding his hand, while Sarah sarcastically remarked about the hooded man being the only one who could explain the situation.

Suddenly, the hooded man appeared, calling himself a werewolf. Sarah quipped about the man's habit of appearing and disappearing without warning. He explained that Scott was turning into a shape-shifter and that they all would undergo similar changes, along with special powers.

Scott made a weak retort, joking about these changes being something "cool." The hooded man warned them that they had brought this upon themselves and would face consequences.

Anxious about their conversation being overheard, Sarah reminded them to be cautious. The hooded man assured them that no one would hear them and cryptically advised them to be prepared, as this was just the beginning.

Peter raised the question of why the boy in the hospital remembered everything while the rest of them did not. Before they could get an answer, the hooded man vanished, and Scott's mother entered the room.

Concerned for her son, she asked about his condition. Scott replied with a simple "Fine," and they all turned their attention to the news report about a mysterious prison break involving wolves.

Today, there has been a jailbreak at a local prison," the reporter on the television announced. "Witnesses claim to have seen a pack of wolves entering the facility, while prison officers insist that they saw human figures instead. The details of the incident are still unclear, but what is certain is that chaos ensued as the wolves or individuals escaped."

The room fell into silence as Peter, James, Sarah, and Scott's mother processed the information. It seemed that the events unfolding around them were connected in some way. The mention of wolves and shape-shifting only deepened their intrigue.

Scott's mother broke the silence, her voice filled with concern. "What does this have to do with Scott? Could he be involved in this?"

The others exchanged worried glances. They couldn't deny the growing suspicion that Scott's transformation and the prison break were linked. It appeared that their lives had become entangled in a hidden world of supernatural forces and unexplained phenomena.

Sarah spoke up, her voice trembling slightly. "We need to find answers and help Scott. We can't let him face this alone."

Peter nodded in agreement. "We must uncover the truth and understand what's happening to him. It's clear that there are powerful forces at play, and we need to be prepared."

James added, "But how do we even begin to unravel this mystery? We're just high school students caught up in something much bigger than ourselves."

Sarah looked determined. "We start by searching for information, digging deeper into the history of shape-shifters, and the connection between the prison break and Scott's transformation. We need to find someone who can guide us, who understands these supernatural elements."

As they discussed their plan, they became aware of the challenges ahead. They would have to navigate unknown dangers, face adversaries they couldn't yet comprehend, and protect Scott from both external threats and the inner turmoil he was experiencing.

Despite their fears, they found solace in their shared determination and friendship. They knew they couldn't turn their backs on Scott or ignore the unfolding events. They were bound together by an unspoken promise to stand by each other and face whatever lay ahead.

Little did they know that their journey would take them to the darkest corners of their town, where ancient secrets were waiting to be unveiled. The fate of not only Scott but also their own lives hung in the balance as they embarked on an extraordinary quest to unravel the mysteries that surrounded them.
