“Well, well, well. If it isn’t the golden couple.”

Jeremy and vivan turned instantly to see who that voice was.

As soon as they turned they saw Hope standing at a corner with a smirk on her face, she really seemed amazed with how they were bounding so effortlessly.

Jeremy’s eyes narrowed slightly as he took in His mother's expression. He wasn’t sure whether she was amused, impressed, or hiding something behind that smirk.

Vivian, on the other hand, arched an eyebrow with her posture shifting slightly as she studied Hope. “Hope,” she said smoothly. “Didn’t expect to see you here.”

Hope chuckled, stepping forward with the grace of someone who always knew how to make an entrance. “Well, I could say the same about you two,” she replied, her gaze flickering between them. “You just took down Ethan, and yet here you are, enjoying a quiet dinner like nothing happened.”

Jeremy relaxed slightly but remained guarded. “Should we be doing something else? Maybe throwing a victory party?”
