The return of the underestimated imperial master

The arrogant cries of Joanna filled the ears of Reed plus the desperate pleas of the old man from earlier.

Just two minutes for him to die permanently. He thought as he picked on his fingers, realising how much dust he had gotten into them.

“What's your decision, young lady because you have just a half and fifty seconds?” Reed asked again while the woman looked at him with bloodshot eyes.

Then, she realized something.The rest of the family did not like her just because the man had taken a special likeness to her when her poor father- her uncle's younger brother had died.

When she grew older, he made sure she lacked nothing and even handed the company and other properties to her.

If Mr Smith Snr died now, the family would shift the blame on her and forcefully find a way to have the asset gotten from her even if she was the rightful heiress which was why she was doing everything possible to make sure the man stayed alive.

Then, she thought of this scum who had impressed her earlier. If she allowed him to heal her uncle who was obviously dying, he would definitely die finally in his arms.

Then, she can point at him as the killer while she manages to find a way to have the assets protected.

That way, they would be so focused on giving the media too much news for them to know about her next move.

Only then could she live a life full of no worries. With tears in her eyes, she nodded.

“Please heal him,” She said. After all, you're just blabbing. If my Uncle doesn't die, it's fine by me but now that he's dying, I have no choice than to make you a scapegoat.

Reed could see that her words came from a mouth that was suddenly full of deceit. However, he let go of the thought as he had the door opened to be met with the stench of a bad smell that filled his nostrils.

No wonder the man was dying. A part of his body was already decayed.

Then, Joanna hurriedly brought out her phone and went live. This could also serve as more evidence. After all, she also had her followers who would back her up.

Not wanting to alert Reed, she moved slightly away.

“Guys, my uncle is dying and some scum decided not to let me go just because he claims to be a god that would save him. If anything happens, you have him as evidence. Let's see who he is”

Instantly, her live video topped up to one thousand while she moved closer towards him.

Reed managed to find his pulse that was almost deadbeat and touched it calmly after he had successfully had his shirt ripped apart to let him work effectively.

In situations like this, he knew that addressing it aggressively would only make things worse because the man was only hanging on a thin thread.

Then, he had his eyes closed and activated one of the most fruitful healing techniques the old hag had trained him on with his bare hands and afterwards started to insert thin needles to make sure energy started to flow into his body.

Immediately, the man coughed slightly while still unconscious while Reed continued to work on his body, without saying anything.

“It seems like this man is awesome”

“What if he's legit?”

“Mr Smith who's always been bedridden just coughed. We haven't heard that in a long time!”

“Who's this incredible man?”

Joanna read in her live feed comments while a frown deepened on her face. Could it be that she had underestimated this strange man?

Instead of the people to rebuke him, it seemed as though they were praising him, wanting to also know more about him!

However, Reed who did not know all that was going on immediately stopped using acupuncture as he stretched his arms to make sure the energy circulated down his weak and stiff body that had not been moved in ages.

Only then did Joana's eyes widen to see that the body moved!

He's incredible! Her mind could not help but agree as her mouth opened on their own accord. She hadn't seen such an amazing man like him!

As much as she thought the tables would be turned, she was glad to see that things had started to take a U-turn for her uncle!

Even though the old man was still unconscious, he could sense that someone was working on his body- the same body some top doctors in the country had condemned.

Yet, he still felt weak to have his eyes opened even though subconsciously, he was okay.

Reed immediately made sure that energy surged into the last part of his body which was his eyes. Then, he was done.

“You can check on your uncle now” He muttered and looked at the sky seeing it was almost towards noon, hoping he would still be able to meet his brother not really busy.

“Has he really been healed?”

“Confirm!”

“I'm jealous”

The comments section became so hot as more reviews popped in. The moment Joanna glanced at her uncle to be sure everything was okay, he suddenly sneezed seven times and started to have a seizure causing him to tremble violently.

At once, she sensed everything was not okay. The moment he was done sneezing, his breath suddenly became unstable and almost immediately, he stopped moving.

Only then did Joanna realize that something was wrong. At once, Terror filled her eyes as she glanced at her uncle and back at the man who was already disgusting in her sight.

“What have you done to my uncle?” She screamed out.
