Chapter 52

THE SAVE

There is a man in a hat at 5 o'clock heading east towards Brian’s direction, stone has found his target.

Alex had watched the man looking at him move to the east end, he had hung back waiting till they had all moved and hoping to get lost in the chaos.

He hadn't realized that brian had faked him out and used the gang members to his advantage. Stone slipped through the crowd, caught up to Alex, and grabbed his shoulder. Alex's world around “Stone” he exclaimed

“I'm sorry but you won't be able to escape,” Stone said.

He snagged Alex's collar and pushed him over the edge of the walkway Alex screamed in protest “If you let me go now, I will give you ten million” Alex said “Besides what do you think will happen if you catch me now? Do you really think you can deal with the heat from Duke?”

“I don't think you have any idea the fire you are dealing with but still I think you stand a better chance with us than you do with Duke” Stone replied.
