Richard woke up after he had slept for a long time and was refreshed. He has never enjoyed his sleep like this because the bed on which he layed was so soft that he wasn't willing to wake up.

He has taken a long time in the shower, admiring the luxurious decoration in the bathroom as well as the beautiful bathtub and full wall mirror. After taking his showers,he draped a white bathrobe and cleaned his body properly before changing into his dress, he had no other outfit as he never expected to spend the night away from his dorm.

He pulled the expensive black curtains and looked outside the window from his room.He noticed it was daybreak and remembered he was still a student of Willowbrook University.

Richard recalled everything that happened last night. His whole life literally turned upside down. From being a broke waiter whose girlfriend abandoned him to owning several top companies and businesses in the world. It was unbelievable.

He pulled out his phone and remembered had switched it off because he didn't want to be disturb. He quickly checked the notification on his phone and saw that he had a lot of missed calls from his roommate. They probably had been worried about him because he didn't spend the night at the dorm last night.

He saw that he had a class that day by 12 noon so he had some time to spare.

He then heard a knock at the door.

“Come in”

The door opened and James, his grandfather butler came in.He was putting on a blue suit that looked expensive.

“Young master Richard,my master wants to speak with you.” James said his tone was overly respectful.

Richard noded.

“Alright lead the way” Dominic said,he was already all dressed up.

James slightly bowed as he led the way.

He joined his grandfather who was already in the study and took his seat.He greeted his grandfather lightly to which his grandfather nodded his head.

‘like I told you yesterday, you are now the head of the Morgan Empire.I'm very proud that were able to make it into Willowbrook University.Although it's not my best choice it's still one of the best university”

Richard was able to school there through a scholarship he won for his brilliant performance in a promotional exam.He and saved up to buy the form and had really worked hard to pass the exam.

Rich nodded at his grandfather. He however wondered what his university had to do with their conversation.

“You need a certificate of graduation from Willowbrook university, otherwise people might look down on your capabilities as the head of the Morgan Empire. While they would never dare to say such,it is better for you to get your certificate of graduation”

“As I have transferred the ownership of the Morgan Empire to you,you need to monitor the progress of the companies monthly.Im sure it will be a lot for you to handle as you are still a student so you would need a personal assistant.”

“Normally,I would have employed one for you,but as the new head, you need to do such things yourself. After all I would not always be there to give you a helping hand”

Richard nodded. He saw sense in what his grandfather said.He could definitely not handle the intricate details of the Morgan Empire and still be a top student.

What he needed was a capable and honest personal assistant who he could trust with such intricate details of the Morgan Empire. The assistant would handle everything regarding the empire and all he would need to do was to go through the summary and sign some documents.

However he could not just hand over such a delicate job to anybody. He needed to find someone he could really trust, and although his grandfather didn't tell him,he knew that such a person in his life was his butler,James.

His grandfather was pleased that Richard understood his point.

It was then he looked at the pitiful outfit his grandson was wearing and sighed. How could the heir of the the Morgan Empire look this way.

His grandfather knew how poor Richard was and didn't have money. He gave James a signal to come over and he gave him an instruction.James nodded in affirmation before he went out of the study.

Before long James came back with an item he handed it over to Richard.

Richard took the item and noticed it was a golden customized card.He studied in detail and noticed the uniqueness of the card.He had never seen any card like it his entire life.

“Richard, this is a debit card made only for heirs of Established Empires. There is over 100 billion dollars in that card.”

“100 billion dollars?!” Richard screamed.

“Yes”.Richard's grandfather answered. “You are now the heir of the Morgan empire and you should be getting used to this amount of money.

Richard shook his head.He was as poor as a church rat just a day ago.How could he now have over 100 billion dollars as his own?!

“Also I transferred some pocket money to your bank account. You are now the heir of the Morgan Empire. You should behave like one.” His grandfather added.

Richard was mute.He still could not wrap his head around the amount of wealth he is now in control of.He suddenly thought of Jane and felt a deep pain in his heart. She had left him for someone who she thinks was richer than him but now he now owned several top companies and businesses within and outside the country.Even the business that the Prescott family owned is like a pitch to his wealth.

He was thinking about going to Jane to tell her that he is now rich and can buy her all the luxury items she wanted. However he discarded such thoughts when he remembered he is now preserved for someone else.

He now remembers he had a class that he wasn't meant to missed. It's Mrs Harper class, one of the strict teacher in his school. She doesn't tolerate nonsense from anybody including the student and you will have to stay outside the class if she enters the class before you,so Richard wanted to be there on time before she enters.

He knew that he could not stay in the Morgan mansion, and his time here was over.

He entered the mansion as a poor student but was about to leave as a student billionaire with 100 billion dollar golden debit card and a 1 billion dollar in his personal account. He was now the head of the Morgan Empire with several companies under him.He was also told of his arranged marriage with his grandfather friend daughter. He also had chance to meet his father and had news about his parents death. All in just two days.

After a brief farewell, between Richard and his grandfather,Nicolas Morgan.James offered to drop.He knew that James's idea of dropping him off in school means that he had higher chances of meeting up with the class.Even though he knows that James would drive him in school with a Roll-Royce car that was probably three times the amount of the most expensive car in campus.

To stop unwanted attention to himself he would have to ensure he dropped a few distance from school. He decided to accept the offer.Though what he wanted was to stay away from public eyes.He wasn't ready to reveal his new status to anyone but the fear of not meeting up with Mrs Harper class brought shiver down his spine.

Richard followed James as they both left the mansion after he had bid the final farewell to his grandfather.

Before long they came to a stop at a location that was a distance away from Richard dorm.Richard felt it would be wise to make a stop here at a place where he wont be detected easily.

He had hoped the Xan Ling herb—the very thing that had come to define so much of his journey—would be met with praise, or at least relief. But Reed’s gaze pierced through him, searching for answers. The morning light filtered through the small, cracked window of the room they had taken in a modest hotel. The air felt different now—colder, sharper—as if the world had changed after their journey up the mountain. The pain and exhaustion that had weighed him down during his escape had faded as he slept, and by morning, his wounds were completely healed.
