Adrian’s body ached in every muscle, his ribs screaming with every breath. Smoke filled his lungs, hot and suffocating, making each inhalation a sharp knife.

Flames surged around him, consuming everything in sight. The crumbling rooftop beneath him groaned and shifted, threatening to collapse with every heartbeat.

Across the fractured steel, the two masked assassins advanced. The taller one moved with predatory grace, eyes locked on Adrian, blade raised like a scythe. The shorter one held a jagged shard of metal, circling like a shark, ready to exploit any opening.

Emily’s voice cut through the chaos, panicked but resolute. “Adrian! You can do this!”

Adrian focused, ignoring the pain, the smoke, and the inferno below. There was no room for hesitation. Every movement had to count. Every strike had to land.
