The woman approached Zed and placed the documents on the table in front of him, neatly aligning them before setting the pen beside the stack.

"Those are the documents you need to sign, Zed. Since you're in a hurry, go ahead and sign them so we can get this over with," Miss Jessica bellowed, placing a cigarette between her lips. She took a long, leisurely drag before slowly exhaling a thick cloud of smoke that drifted lazily toward the ceiling.

Zed cast a sharp glance in her direction, his eyes narrowing slightly as he watched her. Then, with a subtle shift in his posture, he turned his gaze to the documents laid before him. Leaning forward, he picked up the pen and began to examine the papers.
