The whole hallway was filled with blood, and the rapid gunfire that rang out earlier has now stopped. The Chinese gangsters lowered their guns after making sure they were dead, and their gaze fixed intently on Scott's men.

They all laid down there on the floor, their bodies covered in blood, and blood also gushed out of their heads.

"I think these ones are the last of Scott's men." One of the Chinese comrades stated, his eyes scanning the whole place.

"Yes, but where exactly is Scott? We haven't seen him since the fight started."

"Exactly. We've only been fighting his men. Where the hell is the boss?" Another one spat.

"Let's report back to our boss first. We'll tell him we've killed all of Scott's men and we can't find Scott. He'll tell us what to do after."

They all nodded in agreement and headed back downstairs.

Meanwhile, Memphis stood there on the rooftop, his heart pounding in his chest, and cold sweat poured down his face. He heard the sounds of gunshots, and also the scream

The morning sun rose gently over the estate, casting golden rays that pierced through the half-drawn curtains of Scott’s bedroom. The warm light flickered across his face, shining directly into his eyes and gradually stirring him from slumber. He groaned softly, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand before sitting up in bed.Still groggy, Scott swung his legs off the bed and stood. He moved towards the window with slow, deliberate steps, drawing the curtain slightly to the side for a clearer view of the sunlit estate beyond. Standing there for a few moments, he tilted his head side to side, cracking his neck softly as the early rays bathed his face. Thoughts began flooding his mind—serious thoughts, dangerous thoughts, lingering concerns from the night before.Moments later, he turned away and headed to the bathroom.Scott stepped under the shower, allowing the cold water to wash away the remnants of sleep clinging to his skin. The crisp sting of water jolted his senses to life.

Kelly staggered backward as the deafening sound of the gunshot rang out. Her eyes widened in terror, and her gaze locked on the body of Mario lying lifelessly in a pool of blood. His eyes were still wide open, staring blankly at the night sky, and a thick stream of blood seeped from the gaping wound in his head—precisely where the bullet had torn through. Her heart pounded violently in her chest as she continued staring at the corpse, frozen in horror. Slowly, her trembling gaze rose to meet the eyes of the man who had pulled the trigger. His weapon was still raised—and now it was aimed directly at her.Kelly’s heart skipped a beat as the cold metal glinted in the moonlight, and she swallowed hard, her throat dry and tight. "Oh my God! Oh my God!" Aunt Kelly gasped, panic choking her voice as her chest heaved up and down. Her heart thundered like a war drum, and beads of cold sweat streamed down her temples and across her face like a leaking faucet.Mario, tense behind the wheel, glanced sideways at her, his grip tightening on the steering wheel."What do we do, ma’am?" he asked quickly, his voice tight with dread. "If we get caught… it's over for us."Kelly didn’t answer right away. She sat there in frozen silence, her mind spinning violently as it tried to pull together a plan—any plan—that could get them out of the disaster unfolding in real time. The situation was slipping through her fingers like sand, and she knew it.Then, with a sharp inhale, she finally spoke."Step on it," she ordered through clenched teeth. "Push the accelerator. Go as fast as you can. We need to lose him, create enough distance, and then find a place to hide—somewhere dark, isolated. Somewhere he won’t see us."Mario’s eyebro

The shiny black car pulled over after arriving at the bridge, and the driver turned to face Kelly, who was seated silently in the back seat.“We’re here, ma’am,” he said softly.“Good. The bodies should be here,” Kelly replied as she pushed the door open and stepped outside. The driver also exited the car.The two of them stood beside the vehicle, their eyes scanning the entire bridge. The night air was chilly, and the gentle wind made Kelly’s long black cloak flutter behind her like a banner of shadows. She glanced around the area until her gaze finally landed on several indistinct shapes lying motionless a few meters ahead.“That should be it,” she murmured, her eyes narrowing and fixating on the dark figures sprawled across the bridge. “Come on.”Without another word, they advanced, their footsteps echoing faintly against the concrete. At first, the darkness made it hard to identify what the shapes were. But as they drew closer, it became clear—bodies. Four of them. Lying in grotes
