Chapter 3

     "How dare you do this to me, you betrayed me".He yelled out at them and pointed his hands at the rich guy, not minding if he had bruises on his face. "You dare to take my girlfriend from me because of money? I am sure you are aware that she is my girlfriend . "he yelled at him while the injured rich guy smiled.

"You betrayed me! I loved you so much l treated you like a princess and worked my ass off all because of you and your dating to repay by betraying me? Huh? "he yelled and to his uttermost shock, instead of them feeling remorseful as he thought, they suddenly burst out laughing while his girlfriend looked at him in irritation.

"Baby, where have you met this wasted sperm from? "The rich guy said and scoffed while his girlfriend was also in irritation"

"Woh, l was blind and didn't realize this too early! Hey, get lost! "She said angrily. "We were having a nice time before you. Come over with your bad luck "She said again.

"Amy, are you sick upstairs or what? You are my girlfriend for goodness sake!"

"Hey, come of it, l was never your girlfriend "what do you have? And you think we are lovers? How stupid of you? You're are so broke and you think l will continue? "She asked and laughed in mockery while Shadrach looked at him in disbelief.

    Did those words just come out of the woman he thought also adored him so much just as he adored her? Could it be that she only claimed to love him while he became her puppet and opportunist? He thought in bewilderment. How come he did not realize all these so soon?

    Just because he was an orphan and had to start building up his life from the scratch?

Even though he did not have enough, he still managed to work his ass off just for her but she didn't appreciate it? Just because he had no money?

"You can't even afford me! You can't even afford my make-up, my bags, my designers. I get them myself! I fend for myself! So, get lost!"

"But l also give you money and..."The moment he said that he bust out laughing which interrupted him."You are a fool!"

      The moment she said that Fred burst out laughing. Now, he understood why he was so angry. He did not have the money.

"Why don't you just go to the slumps and go look for the woman of your class? Stop disturbing my babe, Give the woman the peanuts you can and claim it's money ?"

Fred said and laughed again which further annoyed Shedrach but he did not say anything.

     The inner pain of being betrayed was too much for him that all he wanted was just to break down in tears and cry. Why did he have to talk in love with the wrong woman?

He had invested so much in her already. He devoted most of his time to her already she did not appreciate it and only mocked him. He thought as he blinked the tears on his face.

He felt used. Dumped just like a wasted cabbage "probably you should wait for your better half that will fit in your category! poor -stricken guy". She said. "I can't believe that you had to go out with someone bad wretched like him! "Shadrach heard Fred as he opened the door for the woman he loved while he entered the car and drove away.

    Broken, shattered, and unhappy, he wanted to break down in tears. This was his worse heartbreak. Just when he thought that he had found someone he would settle down with and this happened to him.

          At that moment, the police officers arrived in the black vehicle to arrest him. As he saw the police he was about to run away but was caught.

"Where did you think you are going said one of the police officers".

He did not know what to say as he kept quiet thinking of what to do next. Then he was arrested and handcuffed while he was put in the police station where he was interrogated.

At the last moment, the police officers began to ask him questions. Seeing himself at a police station, he became so scared that what happened between him and his girlfriend faded from his memories. His heart so much as they walked towards him and hurriedly held his hands.

"Mr. Man, we received via a report that you have been constituting a nuisance here. You are under arrest" one of the officers said and handcuffed him while he looked at them in bewilderment but he could not say anything. At this point, he was about to cry. He had been here since the last night and all he wanted was to confront his girlfriend but here he was, being arrested like a criminal.

    He was immediately dragged to the car while they took him to the station. He was already so scared that he started to blink the tears which were about to flow. How could he, who was a very easygoing vend up in a police's car all because of a woman? He had never been arrested and this was all about the woman.

    A few minutes later, they arrived at the station and he was led to the investigation room where he has pushed aside roughly.

"Who gave you the right to attack others? "The officer asked harshly as he looked at him with a Stern voice. He could not explain anything. No one would believe him after all, the rich have the upper hand were they not supposed to arrest both of them? He thought angrily.

"I just asked a question you fool? "The officer said and banged on the table angrily.

He was about to say something when the door clicked open. Looking up, he saw a tall and beautiful woman come inside smiling. With heels clicking, she walked up to them with shoulders high.

"Hello, l am Cara, Shedrach's lawyer!
