Don't Leave Me

“Why are you packing so much food? Are you that hungry Alexia?” Her mother asked as she packed cupcakes and fruits in her bag.

“Nicki and Chloe asked me to bring them cupcakes and fruits today.” She replies and packed her meal with it and two bottles of water.

“Okay.” She replied and Alexia smiled.

“Bye mum, I will be home early.”

“Okay, dear.”

Alexia walked out happily and checked her watch, it was almost three and she walked faster.

She got to the backyard of the mansion and walked in, she head to the entrance and walked in to see the living room empty.

She dropped the food on a table and looked around.

“Alex.” She called looking around.

“Alex.” She called again.

“What?” He suddenly said behind her and she flinched, she fell due to fear and he stared at her on the floor.

“Why did you fall?” He asked innocently and she sighed.

“You scared me.” She said and stood up.

“Scared? How?”

“Don't worry, I brought you food.” She said and walked to the table, she carried the bag and placed it on the floor then she pulled him to sit on the floor.

She also sat down and opened the bag, Alex’s eyes suddenly widen in shock and he poked her as she dished the meal for him.

“What is all this?” He asked and the spoon fell from Alexia’s hand in shock.

“Why did the spoon fall from your hand?” He asked and Alexia groaned loudly.

“Why did you sound like that?”

“No more questions Alex.” She said and he nodded.

“This is a cupcake, this is a fruit and this is a bottle of water, and this a bag.” She explained and showed him.

“Cupcake, fruits, bottled water, and a bag, got it.” He said with a smile.

“Now, let's eat.” She said giving him a cupcake and he watched how she ate hers before eating his own.

They were finally done with the meal and he sighed.

“Are you feeling better now?” She asked as they both stood up and she packed her bag.

“What do you mean by that? Am I crazy before?” He yelled at her and she flinched.

“Why are you suddenly angry I just asked if you were...”

“I am okay, nothing is wrong with me, that was what they said when they brought me here.” He yelled and held his hair.

“They said I was crazy, I killed Emily.” He cried and fell to his knees.

“Alex.” She called and tried moving closer to him but she was scared.

“I killed them, I killed all of them. He called me a monster.” He cried and Alexia moved to him, she bent beside him and he suddenly looked at her.

“Did they send you?” He asked and his breath blew to her face and she groaned.

“Jesus, when last did you brush your teeth?” She asked and stood up from him.

“And why are you still wearing yesterday's cloth?” She asked and he felt okay a bit and wiped his tears, he stood up and walked to her.

“Does my breath smell?” He asked and opened his mouth.

“Jesus, don't do that, that is so disgusting.” She said and he frowned.

“Okay, am sorry. Come on.” She sighed and held his hand.

“So where is your room?” She asked him and he pointed to the stairs.

“Okay? Let's go.” She held his hand till they got up the stairs.

“The room?” She asked and he pointed to the third room by the right. Alexia noticed blood and broken pieces of glass and wood on the floor but she decided not to ask because of his mood swings. She is also scared but she is trying her best to stay calm.

They walked into the room and Alexia sighed.

“This room looks like it hasn't been used for more than five years.”

“Can you let go of my hand now?” She asked noticing he didn't want to let go. He shook his head in response and she sighed.

She walked to the closet and saw it was filled with the clothes of a young boy. She paused and turned to him.

“How long have you been here?”

“I don't know.”

“You can't remember?”

“If I knew, will I reply that way?” He yelled at her and she sighed.

“Am sorry.” She replied and he held her hand with his two hands.

“Did my hand do something wrong?”

“No, I just like the way it feels, it's so soft.”

“Ugh, so you know what soft is.” She scoffed and walked to his bathroom to see it so dirty.

“When last did you take your bath?”

“I don't know.” He replied and she nodded, she searched around for a toothbrush and found a dirty old one.

“So, I have to get you clothes, a toothbrush, and some hair band, or will you cut your hair?”

“No.” He yelled and she nodded.

“What else do you need?”

“Who is Emily and who do I keep seeing images of a girl?” He asked.

“I don't know who Emily is, how am I supposed to know?”

“How won't you know?” He yelled and suddenly pushed her to the wall. She groaned in pain and fell to the floor.

“So you are part of them?” He yelled and threw her across the room, Alexia screamed in pain and stood up as he moved towards her again. She ran out of the room in fear and he ran after her. She carried the bag and ran towards the exit.

“Alexia, don't leave me.” He cried and held her hand when he caught up with her.

“Let go of me.” She yelled and hit his hand in fear.

“Alexia please don't leave me, am sorry.” He cried and fell to his knees, he held her legs and cried loudly.

“Please don't go away Alexia, please don't go away.”

“Am sorry, am sorry please.” He cried and Alexia struggled to free herself from his tight grip.

“Alexia please, I will never touch you again, please don't leave me like everyone else.” He cried and she finally freed herself from him. She ran immediately and ran out of the house.

“Alexia!” He cried and held his hair.
