A sudden idea and solution flickered in his thoughts.

He said to Lynda, “In that case, drive me to the Woods Mansion.”

“Isn’t that where your ex lives?” Aileen asked.

“It is. But I got a plan.” Chris said with a smile on his face.

Then he continued, “I’m going to need a little favor from you.”

The two girls looked at him suspiciously.

“What help?” Lynda asked first.

“Can you hook me up with some fake TNT props?”

“What!?” the two ladies exclaimed.

“If I may ask, for what?” Aileen asked

“Bring your ears, ladies.” Chris said as he smiled.

Then he whispered something into their ears.

The two of them gasped.

“This new underboss is one smart guy. I like him already.” Aileen muttered to herself.

Lynda drove to the Woods family mansion in no time.

As he collected the gun from them, he smiled.

“Thanks for your help, ladies. I’ll see you later.” Chris said as he waved at them.

“Goodluck, boss.” They said to him happily.

As Chris walked into the Woods mansion, the first person he saw was Veronica.

She had just finished having her bath and was tying her bathrobe well when she looked up to see Chris.

She gasped in shock, “Oh!”

She turned her back towards him.

Chris’s Rom eyes activated and he was shocked with what wonders the eyes could see

“Wait! I can see through her clothes?” he asked himself.

“The power of the eyes of Rom is X-ray vision?” he grinned as he muttered to himself.

“Chris Greene. What are you doing here? You and Charlotte are divorced, remember?” Veronica asked.

“We are. You know? That’s true. But I was her lawfully wedded husband so that gives me a legal right to her assets, so… all I want is  $50 million and I’ll be on my way.” Chris said coolly.

Veronica laughed at him, “ $50 million? Are you insane? Out. Now!”

“I’m not here to argue with you. I’m going to speak with Charlotte.” Chris dismissed her.

Before he could go through, Veronica tried to stop him.

Chris pushed her to the couch, her ass facing him.

His Rom eyes activated again and he could see her naked butt.

He couldn’t help himself as he slightly pressed it.

“Chris Greene! You better not be trying anything funny.” Veronica warned him.

Chris chuckled as he yanked her head to the bad, “You seem to enjoy having your way with me. Maybe I should return the favor.”

He spanked her ass loudly.

She moaned softly.

“If Charlotte finds out about this, she will never forgive you. I’m still technically your mother-in-law. We shouldn’t.” Veronica said as she tried to come to her senses.

“Really?” Chris spanked her again. “That’s not what you said last night in bed.”

“What are you...” before Veronica could finish, Chris cut her off.

Charlotte saw them from the stairs and rushed down, “Stop!”

“Chris, you disgust me. Let her go right now.” Charlotte shouted.

“Look who decided to join the party?” Chris grinned.

“I said, let go of her.” Charlotte said again.

“I will… if you uh… if you give me $50 million.” Chris said.

“No way. The best I can do is 1 million. Take it or leave it.” Charlotte said, folding her arms.

“Wow! You hear that?” Chris asked facing Veronica.

“You helped her with her twisted plan to divorce me and you’re still only worth a measly 1 million.” Chris mocked her.

“Shut up!” Charlotte snapped. Then she clapped her hands, signaling for her boys to come down.

In no time, they came with their guns.

“Last chance. Let Vee go or my men will turn you into Swiss cheese.” Charlotte said with an attitude.

Chris smirked, “You are going to shoot me? Go ahead! If anyone’s not leaving this room alive, it’s you guys.”

Charlotte looked at him intently. Then signaled to her men that they shoot him.

Chris panicked, “Wait… wait… wait…”

“What? You scared, baby boy?” Charlotte said with a grin

“Never again, Charlotte.” Chris said as he opened his shirt and the bomb came in view.

Panic rose in everybody’s heart.

They all shifted back.

“Do I look scared to you, Charlotte?” Chris asked as he held the switch of the bomb in his hand.

“Chris, you’re insane.” Charlotte said softly.

“Yeah. Yeah. I’m insane. A total nutjob. And you? You’re a Wood. The precious heir to your family’s multi-billion dollar fortune. You see, I’m an orphan, Charlotte. A simple commoner with no money or power. What do I have to lose? I’ll gladly walk back into hell if it means taking you down with me.” Chris said with a determined look on his face.

He stepped forward, as if he was about to press the button.

“Fine!” Charlotte snapped.

“I’ll give you what you want. My family’s money is mostly from investment. It’s not like I actually have $50 million on me right now.” She replied.

“Well, then. How much do you have?” Chris asked immediately.

“$20 million?” Charlotte responded softly.

“Deal!” Chris said happily.

Immediately, one of Charlotte’s men brought a black card in and Charlotte gave it to him.

Chris smiled at her, “It was good doing business with you, Charlotte. See ya.” He said happily as he walked away.

As he held the card in his hand, he smiled triumphantly and threw the fake bomb away.

As the scene played in his head again, he couldn’t help but smile.

After the call, he walked up to Chris, “Sir, I have informed him. Tomorrow, a date for a meeting with the directors would be set.”Chris nodded his head, “Good. I don’t want us to waste time. Set the meeting as soon as you can. Let us get rid of the weeds from the root and save this dying company”“Yes, sir.” Adrian said as he slightly bowed and walked out to make a call to Silas again.Chris stretched slightly, his eyes a little bit dim. “Let’s go back to the mansion. We will continue from where we stopped tomorrow.”Adrian finally sighed in relief, “Yes, sir. I will get the car ready.”Few minutes after, Chris and Adrian walked out of Mikaelson Global like they hadn’t just turned the whole city upside down in few hours.Back at Thorne’s enterprise. Michael still tried all he could but when he saw that all hopes was lost, he became erratic. He turned to the engineers, “You all are dead!”Then he turned to Marcus, “Take them all to the dungeon.”Melinda and the others screamed, “Sir..

As the night wore on, the predictive threads of the market began to reveal themselves with startling clarity. Chris could see the hidden partnerships, the unreported transfers, the secret accounts. Every loophole the Thorne family had relied on for decades became transparent, exposed to his vision.Adrian’s voice came again, quieter this time. “Sir… they’re trying to offload more personal shares. Some are moving assets offshore. Others are liquidating private holdings.”Chris nodded slowly. “Allow them to. Let them believe they are buying time. Every action feeds the model. Every reaction strengthens our prediction. By the time they realize what has happened, they will have already handed over their empire.”Adrian’s fingers hovered over a keyboard. “Sir… with this much insight… with this much control… we could dominate the entire city’s market. Not just the Thorne Group.”Chris’s eyes flicked toward him, glowing with an intense blue light. “Yes. And that is exactly what we will do. B

“Keep buying,” he said finally, his voice steady but commanding. “Do not let the price fall below the floor. We will stabilize.”A younger engineer shook his head slightly. “Sir, the liquidity is… insufficient. They are taking every opportunity. We cannot match their pace.”Michael’s gaze hardened. “Then we do what we must. Offer personal holdings. Private shares. Whatever is needed to prevent the banks from seizing control.”The words carried weight. It was a move that the engineers didn’t want to consider. Selling personal shares meant handing over parts of the family’s own empire to an unknown buyer. But survival demanded sacrifice.Meanwhile, Chris remained calm in his office, watching the flow. The system had anticipated every reaction.Every defensive measure by the Thorne Group triggered calculated counter-actions. BODAS was not just trading, it was dismantling the family’s grip piece by piece, turning their desperation into opportunity.Adrian’s voice broke the quiet. “Sir… th

Immediately, the engineers tapped on their keyboards violently searching for answers and solutions. The answer came, though no one wanted to say it.Several minutes passed and still there was no improvement.Melinda thought of a solution and gently raised her hand.Michael looked at her, “Yes? Ms. Melinda?”Melinda cautiously moved forward, “Sir, with the look of things, the stocks keep dropping. I would suggest that we release shares.”The room went quiet. That was not a small decision. That was not something Michael Thorne would do lightly.Michael’s expression did not change. “How much?”Melinda swallowed. “Enough to maintain liquidity.”Michael’s eyes remained on her “And if we do not?”The answer was immediate. “The banks will move.”That meant seizure. Control over the Thorne’s enterprises and several losses.Michael exhaled slowly. Then he made the decision. “Prepare the sell orders.”The room did not react immediately. Engineers were sceptical at first. They were about to start

Adrian had stopped trying to keep up with everything at once. Instead, he focused on the areas Chris pointed to, trusting that the system itself was handling the rest.Chris remained seated this time, his attention steady, his posture relaxed in a way that made the situation even more unsettling.“Bring up Thorne Group’s primary holdings,” he said.Adrian did not ask questions. “Yes, sir.”The screen shifted.A cluster of major companies appeared, each one tied directly to Silas Thorne’s core operations. These were not secondary partners or smaller suppliers. These were the pillars of his influence.Adrian studied the numbers carefully. “They are already taking losses,” he said.Chris glanced at the screen. “How much?”“Initial drop is around fifteen percent across their flagship companies,” Adrian replied. “But it is accelerating.”Chris nodded once.“They are trying to contain it.”“Yes, sir,” Adrian said. “They are injecting capital, attempting to stabilize prices.”Chris leaned ba

Back in the office, Adrian was still watching the feeds closely making all their efforts futile.“They cannot identify the source. At first, it looked chaotic. But the longer he watched, the clearer it became.“This is not random,” Adrian said quietly.Chris glanced at him. “No,” he said. “It is controlled.”Adrian leaned closer to the screen.“It is moving like… like something is guiding it.”Chris allowed a faint smile. “Something is.”The system continued its work. BODAS did not hesitate in any way. It did not slow down. It adjusted in real time, countering every attempt to resist its influence.“Sir,” Adrian said, “some of the larger institutions are pulling out entirely.”Chris nodded. “They are trying to survive.”Adrian looked at him. “Will they?”Chris’s answ
