The ground vibrated with every clash.

Kai moved like a man who’d already accepted that today, bones would break, organs would rattle, and pain would be his closest friend. Abigail moved like a creature born from pure frenzy, bloodline awakened, logic gone, instincts sharpened into something lethal.
