A triumphant smile appeared from Tristan. The man didn't even let go of Starla's neck.

"It worked." He muttered softly, when he saw Arnold who was currently stopping his steps to approach him.

The man had noticed several people who were lying unconscious. And he was very sure that he would not be able to defeat Arnold. And this was the only way to stop the man from approaching and attacking him. Tristan knew that the man was still worried about Starla.

Then Tristan looked back at Arnold. He stared at Arnold's unmoving feet. "Well good, stop there and don't come any closer."

"Or else, Starla could suffer more than this." Tristan smiled triumphantly. Then he stretched his hand from Starla's neck. Giving a gentle touch and then gripping it again very tightly. "Besides, you know that Starla is by my side."

Arnold was forced to stop himself. He couldn't force himself to approach Tristan or the man might be reckless and his actions could take Starla's life.
