I stood in the middle of the crowded hospital lobby with Sophia pressed close to my side, her hand gripping my arm like she never wanted to let go. The group of arrogant young masters and elders from the hidden families marched straight toward us like they already owned the place. Their leader, the tall scarred man, sneered down at me with pure disdain while his companions spread out to block any escape routes. The air grew thick with killing intent as ordinary patients and staff backed away in fear.

“So you are the lucky ant who stumbled upon the Divine Doctor legacy,” the scarred man spat. “Hand over the girl and kneel to offer the inheritance. Do it quickly and we might let you die with your body intact.”

His words made my blood boil but I kept my face calm. Sophia tensed beside me ready to call in more security but I gently squeezed her hand to keep her still. These fools had no idea they had walked into my territory.

In less than thirty seconds all twenty scouts were on the ground groaning and begging for mercy. The scarred leader was the last one standing. I grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground with one hand. His eyes bulged in terror as my Medical Sovereign aura crushed his spirit completely.

“Tell your families this,” I growled loud enough for the entire lobby to hear. “Central City now belongs to Draven Hale. Touch Sophia Laurent or come after me again and your entire bloodline will suffer incurable plagues for ten generations.”

I threw him hard onto the floor where he lay twitching. The crowd erupted into stunned silence then broke into wild cheers. Rich patients who had seen me cure the incurable earlier now worshipped me openly. Phones were recording everything and the news would spread like wildfire across the city before sunrise.

Sophia looked at me with pure adoration. She stepped forward and kissed my cheek right there in public her body trembling with excitement. “Draven you are unstoppable. I have never felt this proud or this safe.”
