I stood on the private terrace with Sophia wrapped tightly around me as the night wind whipped around us. The golden aura from my breakthrough to Immortal Doctor Realm stage one still lingered faintly on my skin. Elder Xuan had escaped but not before I shattered his pride and crippled his cultivation temporarily. Yet the System warning kept echoing in my mind. The top ten hidden families and ancient sects were now watching me. They knew something ancient and powerful had awakened in this city and they wanted it for themselves.

Sophia lifted her head from my shoulder and looked up at me with eyes full of complete devotion. Her cheeks were still flushed from the battle and the way her body pressed against mine sent heat racing through every refined muscle I now possessed. “Draven that was incredible. I have never seen anyone stand against a true cultivator like that and win. From this moment my entire pharmaceutical empire is yours. My board my researchers my wealth. Everything. Just tell me what you need and I will make it happen tonight.”

Her voice was soft and submissive in a way that made my blood burn hotter. The Protector of the Ice Queen title was doing its job perfectly. I ran my fingers through her long dark hair and pulled her even closer. “Good. We start tomorrow. I want full access to your most advanced labs. We are going to release a revolutionary medicine that will shake the entire medical world. But first we need to secure this hospital and deal with any remaining Zhao family trash.”

Before I could say more the System voice rang out with fresh rewards.

“Ding. Breakthrough stabilization complete. Immortal Doctor Realm stage one fully consolidated. New passive ability unlocked. Aura of Medical Sovereign. All enemies below your realm feel instinctive fear and suppression. Host charm and dominance toward women increased by another fifty percent. Additional reward. Ten billion yuan transferred to hidden accounts and one Divine Healing Pill granted.”

A warm surge of power settled deep in my dantian. I felt stronger faster and sharper than ever. Sophia shivered against me clearly affected by the new aura radiating from my body. Her hands slid down my chest as she whispered “Draven I feel so safe with you. No one has ever made me feel this way. I want to be yours completely. Right here if you want me.”

The temptation was strong but I knew we did not have time for that yet. Heavy footsteps echoed from inside the suite as more of Sophia’s loyal security team arrived after the helicopter left. They stared in shock at the unconscious Shadow Bureau agents and the injured Hidden Dragon Clan guards still lying on the floor. Their captain bowed deeply to Sophia then turned to me with respect and fear in his eyes.

“Miss Laurent this young master single handedly defeated everyone. What are your orders.”

Sophia did not even hesitate. “Draven Hale is now the highest authority in my company and all my properties. Treat him as you would treat me. Secure the entire hospital. Remove all Zhao family influence and prepare my private jet. We are moving to my main headquarters tonight.”

The security team moved with lightning efficiency. As they dragged the prisoners away I activated my Divine Diagnosis Eye on the entire building. Dozens of hidden illnesses and poisons appeared in my vision among the patients and staff. I smiled. This was the perfect place to begin building my reputation.

I spent the next hour walking through the VIP wards with Sophia at my side. Every doctor and nurse who had watched my earlier humiliation now stared with open mouths as I casually diagnosed complex cases they had struggled with for weeks. One elderly tycoon suffering from a mysterious organ failure that no one could cure dropped to his knees after I inserted three golden needles and stabilized him in minutes.

“You you saved my life young master,” the old man wept. “I am worth over fifty billion. Whatever you want is yours.”

News spread like wildfire through the hospital. By the time we reached the ground floor a large crowd of rich patients and their families had gathered begging for my help. I cured three more incurable cases on the spot using basic Immortal Needle applications. Each success flooded the System with points and sent my fame soaring.

But the real test came when Zhao Jun himself appeared at the entrance flanked by over twenty fresh bodyguards. His face was twisted with rage and humiliation. “You bastard. You think hiding behind Sophia Laurent will save you. My grandfather is on his way with the full Zhao family enforcers. You humiliated me in public and now you will pay with your life.”

Sophia stepped forward protectively but I gently moved her behind me. My new aura flared outward. Every one of Zhao Jun’s guards took an involuntary step back their faces paling in fear.

I walked straight up to Zhao Jun and looked down at him coldly. “Your grandfather is too late. Your family’s influence in the medical world ends tonight. Kneel and apologize to Sophia right now or I will make sure every member of the Zhao clan suffers from incurable diseases starting with you.”

Zhao Jun tried to laugh but it came out as a choked sound. Sweat poured down his face as my Medical Sovereign aura crushed his spirit. His legs buckled and he dropped to his knees right there in front of everyone. “I I am sorry Miss Laurent. Please forgive me.”

The crowd erupted in gasps and cheers. Sophia smiled proudly beside me her hand resting on my arm possessively.

The System rewarded me again.

“Ding. Face slapping quest completed. Major reputation boost in Central City. Reward. One Divine Realm breakthrough pill and new follower slot unlocked.”

I was about to issue more orders when my Divine Diagnosis Eye suddenly caught something alarming outside the hospital gates. A convoy of luxury cars had just arrived carrying not Zhao family members but representatives from three different hidden families. Their leaders were all early stage cultivators and they were marching straight toward the entrance with clear hostile intent.

The System voice delivered the bad news with perfect timing.

“Ding. Multiple hidden family scouts detected. They have come to test host strength and potentially kidnap Sophia for leverage. New urgent quest. Defeat the scouts publicly and establish dominance. Success reward. Major city influence expansion and second supreme beauty encounter guaranteed within the hour.”

I cracked my knuckles as the group of arrogant young masters and elders entered the lobby their eyes locking onto me and Sophia. The biggest one a tall man with a scar on his face sneered loudly. “So you are the new ant who stole the Divine Doctor legacy. Hand over the girl and the inheritance or we will paint these walls with your blood.”

Sophia tensed beside me ready for another fight. My blood pumped with excitement and power. These fools had no idea what they had walked into.

But as I prepared to strike the System suddenly flashed a private alert that made my eyes narrow.

“Ding. Secret observation detected. One of the top ten ancient sects has sent their Saintess to personally investigate you. She is already inside the hospital disguised as a patient and watching everything.”

My pulse quickened. Another supreme beauty was here somewhere in the crowd and she carried the weight of an entire ancient sect behind her. The night was far from over and the real players were only beginning to reveal themselves.
