No one thought that Helen would be brave enough to confront Alex like that. Leon forces her back into her seat, pressing his hands down her shoulders to keep her from attacking Alex again. He begs her to calm down. Mister Jones is angry at her. Didn't he tell her that she should not behave irrationally? “Helen, what do you think you are doing?! Are you trying to get yourself killed?” He harshly chastises her. “If only Leon would let me go, I will kill that son of a bitch before he even knows what hit him!” She yells without fear. Mister Jones is so angry that he raises his hand, as if he is going to strike Helen in her face, but Alex stops him. “Don't even dare to touch her, she is such a beautiful woman, do you want to ruin her face?” Alex frowns. The first thing that Leon does when he sees Damien at the hospital, in his office, is to punch him in his face. Damien did not see that coming at all, and now he has a bloody nose. “What the hell, Leon?! Do you want me to beat you up again?!” He yells, wiping the blood before it stains his perfectly white shirt. “Alex Kane, really?! You would have been better off making a deal with the devil himself!” Leon fumes. “And what has that got to do with you?!” Damien slams him. “Helen doesn't deserve this! She worked so hard and you are going to ruin everything for her!” “You see, that's my problem with you, Leon. You don't know when to stop. I am an ambitious man, and your darling Helen and I have different visions, so it's not a surprise that we are taking different routes and trying to do our things. Leon doesn't know how he was able to get back to the house in one piece. It's so late, and he is still in shock that he goes straight to the bedroom. He doesn't even bother turning on the light, he just takes off his shoes and jacket, before getting into bed. Immediately, he feels a warm body next to him, and he almost screams. He jumps out of the bed and turns on the light. “MJ?” He holds his hand over his forehead. “What– how did you get into here?” Only heaven knows how many hours she has been in his bed, because she seems so heavy with sleep. She must have been in here for hours. “Where have you been?” She whines as she rubs her eyes. “Work was exhausting today, and I missed you. You weren't picking up, so I came by to check on you, but you weren't here.” Of course the staff knows all of the Jones children and they probably didn't know that MJ never left. Alex pulls a chair and sits back down. His legs are crossed with ease, and there is a twinkle of interest in his eyes. “I have to tell you, this has got to be the most captivating thing to have come out of your rotten mouth.” He says. “And it's the truth, I swear to you.” Damien insists. Alex turns to look at Mister Jones. “Jonathan, you care to explain what this is?” Mister Jones steps forward and clears his throat. “I don't know.” “You don't know?” Alex huffs. “Your father instructed me to get rid of the Shankly son, and I did! I made him disappear, and it's not my fault that Helen thought of getting a replacement. She kept away from my family for years, and I never noticed that Damien was… adopted.” It's true, except there is a small white lie in that story. Mister Jones didn't kill the Shankly son. Damien gets pushed into the wall, and several guns are pointed at him. “Alex, you can't do this! I'm sorry, man, but I need you to see things from my perspective!” He begs. “I didn't know that my sister stole my shares! This is not me trying to cheat you!” “Stop moving around like a worm, Damien. It would make cleaning up harder for my men.” “Please, Alex, just let go of him. He is just a kid, a stupid one, but he is harmless.” Mister Jones surprises everyone when he begs on Damien's behalf. “He is stupidly dangerous. He tried to sell a hospital that that girl worked so hard for. I will be doing her a favor by taking out this liability that is her brother.” Alex snorts. “But he has a wife and children on the way, Alex. Please, show him mercy and I assure you that he won't try this nonsense again.” Mister Jones press. He knows that there is a limit he could push this to, but he can only attempt to change Alex's mind. The last thing Helen needs is to mourn her adoptive brother.

Damien turns into a coward immediately when he sees that Duke Scales has been killed in front of him. No wonder Helen has always maintained that Alex Kane is a very dangerous man.
