MJ looks out of the car window for the umpteenth time and a tired sigh leaves her mouth. Her father's and brothers are talking and glancing at her from time to time. She wonders what they are up.She leans to the driver's side and presses the horn as hard as she can. “Come on, Kev! Let's go already!” She yells. Mr Jones calls his private investigator as soon as he gets to his house. He locks himself in his study in the middle of the night, and makes the order. “I want you to give me all the information that you can get on this man called Leon Shankly. Where is he from? How did he meet Helen Shankly? What does he want from my late best friend's family?” “You've got it, boss.” The voice says at the other end. “I will have everything you need ready in forty eight hours, sir.”Mr Jones ends the call and after working a little bit in his office, he goes back to the bedroom. It's a very awkward situation, and Leon finds himself right in the middle of it. He is surrounded by the entire Jones family, and the father is glaring right through his soul. Leon tries to nervously laugh it off, but his anxiety is very palpable. “Mister Jones, I assure you that it's all a coincidence. This is the most important thing that Leon would ever have to do in his life. As he looks down, he sees over a thousand doctors that has studied and achieved so much in their lives, and he wonders if they are going to laugh in his face when he delivers his lecture. His eyes move to MJ, and she crosses her fingers in support of him. Helen is a few steps away from him, so he takes a deep breath in, and delivers the most breath taking lecturer. By the end of it, the entire auditorium is standing on their feet cheering and applauding him. “This is the most brilliant thing we have heard from such a young man!” “He is going to be the greatest Doctor of the century!” Leon bows, his hands held over his chest. Helen has tears in her eyes with pride. She can go to sleep peacefully from now on. Leon looks in the mirror and sighs because he realizes that he will have to change his tie for the third time. There is nothing wrong with the tie, or the others that he had put on before. It's just that he is very nervous to be attending this conference. It's not a small event, not to him. He will get to meet many doctors that he has looked up to. He is going to meet MJ's family, and so many others too. By the time he gets downstairs, Helen is waiting for him in a green dress.
