Lorenzo waited for Susanne's return until nighttime, but she never came back.

“Did she run away again?” Lorenzo wondered.

Just then, Lorenzo heard a knock on his door.

“Speak of the devil.” he said and headed for the door.

Lorenzo opened his bedroom door and saw Felix was the one knocking. Lorenzo sighed as he rubbed off the sweat on his forehead.

“You seem to be uneasy. Even my presence did not change that.” Felix said to Lorenzo.

“Susanne left the house today, and she is yet to return, do you have any clue about her whereabouts?” Lorenzo asked not being able to control his emotions, while Felix had to maintain a simple look, so he wouldn't notice it off about him.

“Have you tried calling her on the phone?” Felix questioned and Lorenzo nodded, saying,“I have done that already and still, I am unable to get in contact with her.”

“It's not that late, I believe she will be home soon and do not worry much about it.”
