Coincidence Once

It didn't take long for Amun to stop walking just forward without any destination inside the thick forest without an end to end. Even knowing that walking aimlessly has no meaning, she still thought there was no reason for her to stand still in her place. Both options are worse than one another.

Although she didn't feel tired from walking, since all she walked was less than 10 minutes, but for some reason she felt she was not at ease, just a feeling that there was something wrong, though everything she had been through since she opened her eyes in that alley,. Everything was wrong and without any meaning in her opinion.

The frustration that built on her made her scream on top of her lungs, "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?" Of course, she didn't expect to receive any answers. Her hands were on top of her head, when she was screaming, and looking up at the sky. She closed her eyes for a second. With a deep sigh, she opened her eyes. What she saw in front of her made her jump backwards two steps, and nothing changed.

What she saw in front of her face, the gap being only about thirty centimeters, was a screen with some writings on it. Her surprise caused her to jump back, and the screen followed. She took another step back, and it still followed. She looked right, then left, and the screen followed her sight and movement, wherever she looked or moved to.

She calmed down herself and looked at what was on this transparent screen that appeared in front of her suddenly. Luckily she was able to read what was written inside the screen, but it didn't make any sense to her. It didn't matter how many times she repeated reading it and was like this

So what is this ? What is this ? She doesn't know how many times she kept on repeating this question, but she didn't get any answer, and the screen was there. Nothing changed.

At least I got some instructions. Whatever they are and however suspicious it may look, now I have at least something. True, it did increase the mystery and didn't solve anything. On the contrary, it increased my anxiety. Now I am sure whomever was behind bringing me here is the same one who is doing behind the curtains, so sooner or later we will face each other. That is the only thing that lifted my spirit, and gave me new hope, and something to look forward to.

The other thing that I couldn't figure out was the mission that I have been given, survive. Does that mean there is a danger I should deal with and survive it? Sure, I am in a forest on a foreign planet. I don't know the animals and beasts that live here, but eventually in an environment like this where there are no humans living, there should be different kinds of animals or beasts that live here, and that is what I should survive for twenty-four hours. That is not a long time, and still not short.

While not knowing what is going to happen also. And whats with the adventures thing, everything going here is totally strange, "so at least I know what to do, I have to survive" that was what she was thinking when she heard some sounds, she was not walking but standing mybe for a few minutes, immersed with her thoughts, she suddenly came back to reality, and started listening to sounds she is being hearing, and is sounds like something is coming behind her.

She turned around, and started looking around, but she saw nothing. Still, the sound was coming closer to her. She was not able to distinguish the type of sound she was hearing, but it seemed like footsteps on dry leaves. She started feeling worried, "Now what?" She murmured, and started looking around her for something to grab and try to defend herself. She was in the middle of a forest. The only thing around her was trees. On her right side she saw a piece of long dried brach of a tree.

She was looking at a thin tree branch in her hand, wondering "what can I do with this?" The sound stopped at once, like whatever it was stopped suddenly. She was not actually scared or anything, just a little bit agitated. She felt prepared for whatever came out of there. She murmured again, "I wish I only had something to defend myself with."

At that moment, the same transparent screen appeared in front of her with the message,

"Congratulations, you have unlocked your inventory." The only thing she could do was to stare at the screen in front of her. She thought, "What did I unlock, and what inventory?" And what will that inventory help me with? A lot of thoughts came through her mind in a few seconds, although they didn't add up. Her wish for something to defend herself and the appearance of the screen coincided, so there must be a connection.

Also, she remembered that when she was wishing for something to defend herself with, she said aloud, then the screen appeared, so she thought let me say something. Whoever was doing this may respond, and she said in a whisper, "Weapon" but nothing changed. She looked around, although the screen was following her sight, still nothing changed. The footsteps stopped for now, but it had been only 20 seconds so far, so it could resume at any time.

Once again she repeated Weapon, Help, Defenc, Wish, and whatever else she thought that my help but nothing changed, and the screen was still there, she had no idea what to do or how to obtain the information she needed, and she was aware of that she doesn't have much time left, whoever or whatever was there was close to her she can feel it, though she can't see it yet, and it will come out soon, and when it does she doesn't know what is going to happen.
