She brought Lein and Lily to her desk, then opened a tablet and showed them the premium property catalog.

"This is our list of best properties," Emma said while swiping the screen. "There are several options—penthouses, mansions, and villas."

Lein looked at the list quickly, his eyes immediately fixed on one item.

Avalon Hill Villa.

Location: Avalon Hills—the most exclusive area in Corholt City.

Land area: 5,000 square meters.

Building: 3 floors, 12 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, infinity pool, private garden, city & mountain views.

Price: 100,000,000 dollars.

Lein pointed at the screen without hesitation. "This one. I'll take this one."

Emma fell silent. Her eyes widened.

Lily standing beside him was immediately stunned. Her mouth opened, but no sound came out.

One hundred million... dollars?!

Emma swallowed. Her hands trembled slightly. "S-Sir... this is our most expensive property. Are you sure?"

Lein didn't answer with words.

He just pulled something from his pocket—a pitch-black card with gold lines on the edges, gold embossed writing on its surface:

"Obsidian Elite Card - Unlimited Access."

He placed the card on the desk casually.

Emma stared at the card with wide eyes.

She didn't know exactly what card this was. But its luxurious appearance—shiny black color, gold lines, perfect embossing—made her know this wasn't an ordinary card.

This was a card only owned by super-rich people.

Her hands trembled as she took the card. "A-alright, Sir! I'll process it now!"

She immediately typed quickly on the computer, swiped the card, entered the amount.

BEEP.

TRANSACTION SUCCESSFUL.

100,000,000 dollars - APPROVED.

Emma stared at the screen with her mouth wide open. Her eyes were teary—not from sadness, but from... extraordinary happiness.

With this transaction, she got a 0.1% commission.

That was... 100,000 dollars.

That was almost three times her annual salary!

She immediately stood up, bowing deeply to Lein. "Thank you, Sir! Thank you so much!"

Her voice trembled, her eyes teary.

Lein nodded briefly. "Handle all the documents. I want everything finished tonight."

"Of course! I'll handle everything as quickly as possible!" Emma answered with full enthusiasm.

She almost wanted to hug Lein, but she knew that wasn't appropriate.

But in her heart, she swore: "Even if this Sir asked me to sleep with him... I would do it!"

On the other side of the room, the middle-aged woman and large-bodied man who had previously looked down on Lein now stood frozen.

Their mouths hung open. Their faces were pale.

They had just heard...

One hundred million dollars.

Cash.

The woman felt her chest tighten. Her hands trembled.

"If only I hadn't judged by appearance... if only I had served him..."

That hundred thousand commission... should have been hers!

The large-bodied man bit his lip hard, his face red from regret and anger at himself.

They could only stare at Emma with an extraordinary envious gaze.

Meanwhile, Lily was still standing beside Lein with a completely stunned face.

One hundred million dollars...

She didn't even know how much that really was.

But one thing she knew—

Her brother... was no longer the weak and helpless Lein from five years ago.

He had become someone who was... very, very different.

---

Ten minutes later, the office door opened.

A woman in her thirties walked in with quick steps. Her hair was cut in a neat bob, wearing an elegant gray blazer, and her face showed high professionalism.

She was Sandra Mitchell—manager of Stellar Properties.

In her hands, she carried a thick document folder.

Emma immediately stood up and bowed respectfully. "Manager Sandra."

Sandra nodded briefly at Emma, then her gaze shifted to Lein.

Her expression immediately changed—from serious to a very professional friendly smile.

She stepped quickly closer, then bowed deeply at almost a 45-degree angle.

"Sir," she greeted in a tone full of respect. "I'm Sandra Mitchell, manager of Stellar Properties. Thank you for choosing our property. This is a great honor for us."

Lein nodded briefly, not saying much.

Sandra placed the document folder on the desk carefully. "All ownership documents are ready. I've made sure everything is complete and legally valid. Avalon Hill Villa is now officially under your name."

She opened the folder, showing the ownership certificate with Lein Ashford's name clearly printed.

Lein glanced at it briefly, then nodded. "Good."

Sandra smiled widely—a smile full of hope. She took out a business card from her pocket, then handed it over with both hands.

"Sir, this is my business card," she said in a very respectful tone. "If you need another house in the future—perhaps an investment property, a second villa, or a penthouse—don't hesitate to contact me directly. I will provide the best service."

She looked at Lein with a hopeful gaze, hoping to establish good relations with a client this big.

A client who could buy a 100 million villa in cash... must have extraordinary connections and wealth. If she could maintain him well, perhaps there would be even bigger transactions in the future.

But Lein didn't take the card.

He just looked at it for a moment, then shook his head slowly.

"No, thank you," he said in a flat tone. "I don't need another house."

Sandra was slightly disappointed, but she kept smiling professionally. "Of course, Sir. But if someday—"

"There's one thing I want to say," Lein interrupted in a calm but firm tone.

Sandra immediately fell silent, looking at Lein with full attention.

Lein looked directly into her eyes. "Teach those two employees of yours some manners."

He pointed toward the middle-aged woman and large-bodied man still standing stiffly in the corner of the room, their faces pale.

"No matter who comes," Lein continued in a cold tone, "they should treat guests well. Don't judge people by their appearance."

Sandra immediately felt her blood freeze.

Her face turned pale. Her eyes widened.

She immediately turned toward those two senior employees with a sharp gaze—a gaze full of anger.

"What have you done to Mr. Ashford?!" she asked in a low but terrifying voice.

The middle-aged woman and large-bodied man immediately trembled. They bowed deeply, almost touching the floor.

"S-Sorry, Manager! We didn't know—"

"SILENCE!" Sandra snapped in a loud voice.

The entire room fell silent.

Sandra took a deep breath, trying to control her anger. But her face remained red, her hands clenched tight.

She turned to Lein, bowing very deeply. "Sir, I apologize for their rudeness. This is a huge mistake on our part."

Lein didn't answer. He just took the documents from the desk, then stood up.

"Come on, Lily," he said to his sister.

Lily, still stunned by everything that happened, immediately nodded and followed her brother.

Emma bowed deeply as Lein and Lily walked past her. "Thank you, Sir! May you and your family be happy in your new home!"

Lein nodded briefly at Emma—the only person who treated them well—then walked out of the office.

The door closed slowly.

CLICK.

As soon as the door closed, the atmosphere in the room immediately changed.

Sandra turned quickly, her face full of exploding anger.

She stepped quickly toward the middle-aged woman and large-bodied man, then looked at them with a piercing gaze.

"YOU TWO!" she screamed with a voice trembling from holding back anger. "Do you know what you just did?!"

The middle-aged woman trembled. "M-Manager, we—"

"YOU MADE ME LOSE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ESTABLISH GOOD RELATIONS WITH THE BIGGEST CLIENT OF THE YEAR!" Sandra snapped, her voice thundering throughout the room.

She pointed toward the door Lein had just closed. "That was a client who could buy a 100 million villa in CASH! Without hesitation! Without negotiation! Someone like that... has wealth and connections you can't imagine!"

Sandra took a deep breath, her hands trembling from anger. "And you... you looked down on him! You ignored him! You disappointed him before he was even properly served!"

The middle-aged woman and large-bodied man immediately knelt.

"Sorry, Manager! We were wrong! We didn't know—"

"YOU DIDN'T KNOW?!" Sandra laughed cynically. "That's the problem! You judged people by their appearance! You think you can pick and choose clients?!"

She looked at them with a gaze full of disappointment and disgust. "Stellar Properties is a professional company. We serve ALL guests with respect. But you... you destroyed our reputation!"

Sandra took a deep breath, then shook her head slowly.

"You're fired," she said in a cold and final tone. "Take your things and leave. Now!"

The middle-aged woman's face immediately turned pale as a corpse. Her mouth opened, but no sound came out.

The large-bodied man immediately crawled forward, crying. "Manager, please! We have families! We need this job! Give us one more chance!"

"One chance?!" Sandra looked at them with a cold gaze. "You've worked here for years. You know the rules. And you broke them!"

She turned around, not wanting to see them anymore. "Security! Take them out!"

Two security guards immediately entered, forcibly pulling the middle-aged woman and large-bodied man.

"NO! PLEASE! FORGIVE US!" they screamed desperately.

But Sandra didn't turn around.

She stood in the middle of the room, sighing long.

Then, she stared at the door Lein had just passed through with a gaze full of regret.

"If only they hadn't looked down on him... if only they had served him well from the start..."

She shook her head slowly.

Too late.

That golden opportunity was already gone.

The knock on Krul Ashgor's door did not sound like a normal knock. It was rapid and uneven—the kind of knocking from someone who had forgotten how to be polite because their mind was entirely occupied elsewhere.Krul, who was still seated on his sofa, rose to his feet with an expression already prepared for anger before the door had even opened. He opened it himself. The man standing outside, one of the fifty he had dispatched the previous night, was pale, his breathing unsteady."Boss." His words came out in a rush, too hurried to be properly organized. "Everyone... everyone lost. Lein sensed them before he saw them.Forty aura signatures moving through the Varkaan Forest from the west. Not particularly fast—the pace of people traveling in a large group, unable to completely conceal the presence of so many individuals gathered in one place. He ran toward them. There was no reason to wait for them to come. They met between two massive Ironcrown trees, in a clearing wide enough for forty people to stand, but not spacious enough for all of them to move freely. They saw Lein approaching from the front.Several of those at the front instinctively slowed down, the natural reaction of people carried forward by the momentum of a group suddenly encountering something they had not expected.Lein did not slow down.He plunged straight into the first line.No spiritual energy radiated from him. Only his body, momentum, and reflexes sharpened for far too long to be called mere training. His right elbow smashed upward into the jaw of the man at the front. The man's head snap

Vera did not come at him with a single attack. She came with everything she had.Her axe swept from left to right in a horizontal arc powerful enough to split two ordinary trees in half if they had stood in its path. Dovan shot forward at the speed of a Peak Star Realm cultivator. His dagger was already in a thrusting position, aimed directly at the center of Lein’s chest. Just one step backward. And an attack launched at full speed had struck nothing but air.Dovan did not move immediately. Calculations were already running through his mind. The speed of that single step was equal to—or perhaps even greater than—his own. It was not a forced reaction. It was not a lucky guess. It was a precise read and an economical response. This man had seen the attack clearly enough to choose not to block, not to counterattack, but simply to evade with the minimum possible effort. That meant only one thing: if speed alone wa
