Enzo's heart raced as the cold steel of Bianca Rourke's gun pressed against his chest and bit through his shirt. Her face was a mask of rage, her eyes were sharp, and her jaw was tight. The room was full of tension, and every breath they took echoed in the quiet.

"Make a move, and I'll kill you right here," Bianca said, her voice steady but full of venom. The poison wasn't just for Enzo; it was for everyone who had let her down. She didn't have to say anything. He could see the truth in her eyes.

Enzo didn't blink, and his own eyes were dark and unreadable. "You think you can kill me?" After all I've done for you? His words were full of anger, but he was really thinking. Every step was a risk.

"Do you think I care about your loyalty, Ghost?" She shot back, her lips curling into a bitter smile. "You've been lying to me like everyone else."

The air between them was full of static. Bianca was a woman who only knew one thing: power. Enzo now knew for sure that this was not a personal attack on him. This was about getting back at her father, Damon Rourke, and her need to control Havencroft like Damon had done before. She didn't want to make alliances. She wanted power.

She pushed the barrel into his chest, but instead of pulling the trigger, she stepped back. The gun didn't move. "We're not finished here, Ghost." If you betray me, I'll kill you. But for now, I need you. We both want the same thing.

Even though her words were hot, Enzo stayed calm. "I don't trust you," he said quietly. "And you shouldn't believe me either."

Bianca's eyes didn't move, and her determination was as strong as ever. "I don't have to believe you. I need your strength. Rossini is our common enemy. But if you cross me, I'll make sure your death hurts as much as your life.

They stepped out into the night as the door slammed shut behind them. The streets of Havencroft were dark and empty in front of them. Enzo's hand brushed against the rough brick wall of the alley as he thought about what they had just talked about. It felt like the quiet before the storm.

Bianca was walking next to him, and her steps were as steady as ever. You could feel the weight of her anger, but there was something else behind her eyes, an ambition that could make anyone go crazy. She wanted everything. And she would do whatever it took to get what she wanted.

Bianca said, "I don't need your sympathy, Ghost," as they walked through the city's underbelly. Her voice broke the silence. "Just your help."

Enzo was quiet for a moment, thinking about what had happened. There was no doubt that he was loyal to Damon. But now that Damon was gone, Enzo was in a world where loyalties and truths were always changing. He couldn't afford to trust anyone. But Bianca's grudge against Rossini was the same as his own, and for the first time since Damon's death, Enzo thought he might have found a friend, or at least someone who could help him get closer to the truth.

Enzo said in a low voice, "You have your own plans." "But it doesn't matter. Rossini is too strong. We don't have the power to bring him down.

Bianca shot back, "You're wrong," and her eyes narrowed. "We have more power than you know." Rossini is just a man, and every man has a flaw. We just have to look for it.

Enzo looked at her for a moment, and the streetlights that were flickering made shadows on her face. He could feel how strong her words were. He didn't know if she was right or if she was just another snake in the grass, but he couldn't afford to wait any longer. She was giving him an edge, whether he wanted it or not.

"Then let's get to work," Enzo said, sounding resigned but determined.

As they went deeper into Havencroft, the city seemed to close in on them. Every corner looked like a trap, and every step seemed to lead to danger. Bianca's plan was pretty simple: find Rossini's weak points, use them to her advantage, and bring him down from the inside. But nothing was ever easy in Havencroft.

They went to an empty building that used to be a place for illegal business and secret meetings. It was the best place to hide from people who were watching too closely.

Bianca took him to a back room where there were blueprints, files, and surveillance photos all over a table. "We need to move quickly," she said as she walked around and sorted through the papers. "Rossini's mistakes are getting bigger as his power grows." And there are people around him who don't know they're walking towards their own death.

Enzo's mind was racing as he watched her work. There was something about Bianca that made him feel like he was in a risky situation. But he couldn't afford to back out now.

After a long pause, Enzo said, "You're not the only one who's been watching Rossini." "I have my own sources." "We'll figure it out."

Bianca looked up at him, but her face was hard to read. "Ghost, I'm not asking you to believe me. Please help me kill Rossini.

As the hours went by, the tension between them grew. They were getting closer to something, but Enzo couldn't quite figure out what it was. Bianca's determination was starting to feel like an obsession, and her coldness was making him wonder how far she would go.

There was a loud crash from the other side of the building just as Enzo was about to say something. His gut told him to do something right away.

Enzo said, "They found us," and then he reached for his gun.

Bianca's eyes got bigger. "Stay low."

They crouched behind the big desk with their guns drawn, ready for anything. The sound of footsteps echoing down the hall made everything else in the building seem louder. Enzo's heart raced in his chest. There was more to this than just an ambush.

A group of masked men with guns burst through the door. Enzo and Bianca both fired at the same time, and the sound of the gunshots was deafening in the small room.

Bianca moved quickly and shot one of Rossini's men in the head, killing him instantly. As they moved through the chaos, Enzo kept her safe by keeping their backs against the walls. He could feel the heat of the fight getting closer. But then

"Where is she?" Enzo yelled.

Serena, the hacker who had helped them before, had vanished in the chaos. Enzo swore under his breath. They didn't have any time to waste.

As Enzo and Bianca fought their way out of the building, with bullets flying over their heads, the front door suddenly opened, revealing Julian Serrano and Matteo Rossini's men. Enzo pulled Bianca into the shadows by the arm in the middle of the chaos.

"Stay close," Enzo hissed, but Bianca gasped just as they were about to leave.

Serena was gone.
