If Elliott would have known she had Surgery, and there was a possibility she may go blind, he would have been more concerned and watched her. So fir her to call and say she was blind out of the blue, he would not even be thinking about that. She should talk to him about that day.
Sorry, Avery apparently out corrected.
Avoid upset that Elliott left after she told him she was “blind” but she did not even tell him she had Surgery done, she took “her son” on a trip and got it done. Even though Elliott told her several times he wanted to take her to the hospital to get rechecked.
Ya we already know, as soon as Elliott and Avery are together, they will break up, it’s an emotional roller coaster for the readers. Leave them together and have them work together to get the twins to realize Elliott is good and good for their mom. Have them work with their businesses, find Ivy.
Did Avery also forget when Elliott misunderstood her then left, that is how the whole Ruby thing happened in the 1st place. For the 1st time Avery helped him. When they have misunderstandings, talk about it together not with their friends. The friends are not good friends. Good friends would see Avery and Elliott are happy when together and depressed when not. They are also grumpy when not together. Her friends give bad advice.
I don’t mind the book being long, but breaking Avery and Elliott up every time they have a misunderstanding is Ridiculous. We all read it for the 2 of them. I love when they do things together, take care of the kids together. There is so much more you can do with them.

I agree. Avery should have talked to him about the phone call before she divorced him. She should know better, that he would have not gone if he heard her. Even if he went he would have called her or came back sooner. But if he knew, he would have sent Ben.

This was a scam from the first chapter. It was a good book at the beginning but the author has become greedy. The continued use of wrong names throughout the book are laughable. The repetitive chapters are fraud. Avery was a neurosurgeon and went back to school to get her doctorate!! Joke!

I agree with everyone else’s post. This is ridiculous for what we have paid. We should not have to have to pay any more for what we have paid. Especially since chapters are repeated, a lot of mistakes, and chapters are getting shorter. Get to the point and finish this book.
