Chapter 10: Coming Out From Dark Forest

Ethan raised his hand and closed his eyes he tried to feel the surrounding wind. After some time Ethan opened his eyes and said '' wind blade'' while putting his hand down simultaneously.

Suddenly a blade made of wind appeared and slashed towards a tree in front of him the blade struck the tree and it was cut in half just by a single wind blade.

Ethan who was watching this opened his eyes wide in shock after seeing the power of the wind blade and could not help but say out loud

'' what the hell''

Ethan couldn't understand how the power of this single wind blade that he made after controlling the surrounding wind was so powerful but he soon got his answer when he suddenly started to feel dizzy.

Ethan was very familiar with this feeling after his fight against forest Tiger so he quickly check his mana and finally understood why the power of his wind blade was so high.

Mana:- 46/107

He used more than half of his mana in his previous attack and after seeing his remaining mana Ethan was not happy in the slightest.

Ethan took out a mana potion and drank it and waited some time for his mana to be fully restored when his mana was fully restored he once again made a wind blade and shoot it towards another tree, the tree was cut in half cleanly but Ethan's eyes were close like he was trying to find something after some time he opened his eyes and a sigh escaped from his mouth.

'' As expected I can't utilize most of my mana since I can't control it perfectly if I can control the mana perfectly I should be able to use wind blade with very little mana ''

When Ethan made the wind blade he have to use his mana to control the surrounding wind but because his control over mana is not perfect yet, most of his mana escape from his control and mix itself in the world's mana so he have to use more mana to control the surrounding wind and create a wind blade.

But It can't be helped although his affinity towards mana is pretty high he started his mana training just some time ago so it will take some time before he can control his mana more freely.

Along with the skill Wind Monarch, Ethan got many insights on how to use this skill the wind blade he just used was one of the insights he got from his skill.

The higher rank of the skill the more insight you get from the skill and since his skill is at the peak of rank one it was normal for him to get many ideas about how to use this skill.

But skill can just provide some ideas about itself the user of the skill has to use his imagination for improving his skill.

Each skill are divided into different rank from lowest to highest order is

Unranked skill, Rank one Skill, Rank Two Skill, Rank Three Skill and so on the higher the rank of the skill the more strong it will be and you can use it in different ways.

Each Ranked skill is divided into five parts from level 1 to level 5 Ethan's skill Wind Monarch currently is Ranked one Level 5 skill and if he can evolve it to the next level it will become Rank Two Level 1 Skill.

The higher the rank and level of a skill is the more powerful the skill will be, to evolve a skill to the next rank you have to full fill cretin requirements you can see these requirements on your status screen, to see these requirements you have to use skills for some time.

Since Ethan just got his skill there is no need for him to see the evolution requirements for his skill because he would have to use the skill for some time before he can see the requirements for his skill evolution.

And even if Ethan can evolve his skill to the next rank he won't be able to display its full power because his current level is just 7 if he wants to display the full power of his skill he has to start from basic.

He has to first learn how to use this skill perfectly at rank one so that when he evolves it to the next rank he can easily adapt to the increased power of the skill.

Normally people get a Rank 1( Level 1) skill for their first active skill heck some even get the unranked active skill. They then learn how to use the skill at level 1 and slowly increase the level of their skill but Ethan got a skill that is already level 5 so he was in no hurry to increase its level.

He first wanted to train his mana control so that he can easily use the power of his skill.

After thinking about some time Ethan decided to leave the dark forest and camp outside of the forest and train his mana control.

Training his mana control was just the first reason the other reason was that his body is not completely healed yet his legs are still not fully recovered it will take at least two days for his legs to completely recover and his shoulder is also injured so he decided to currently stop hunting and head out to the forest.

After deciding this Ethan climbed down the tree and started walking towards the exit of the dark forest since his legs were still not healed he was walking slowly so that his injuries will not get worse.

It will take Ethan at least three hours to exit the forest and reach the outside and if he encounters a magic beast it will take even more time to exit the forest.

''I just hope I don't encounter a magic beast like forest Tiger because even if I can win, my injuries will get worse'' Ethan muttered to himself while he carefully walked towards the exit.

After two hours since Ethan started his journey to leave the forest he suddenly saw that there was something in front of him first Ethan thought he should change the route but after seeing its level he thought it is not necessary.

---) Sky Eagle:- Level 9

Sky Eagle is a flying type magic beast that is the evolved version of the normal Eagle it's around 1 meter big with deep yellow color eyes and black skin its wings are around two meters wide and like normal Eagle, the eyes of the sky Eagles are incredible they can see their prey from very high in the sky there flying speed is also very fast.

If not for the skill Wind Monarch Ethan would not have had the courage to mess with this magic beast, Ethan walked towards the Eagle slowly the sky Eagle had already noticed him and was looking at him when Ethan was just one hundred meters away from it, The Eagle opened its wing and flew towards Ethan with incredible speed.

Ethan just watched the Eagle flying towards him and just as Eagle was about to reach him he muttered '' wind blade'' and a blade made of wind appeared in front of him and shoot towards the Eagle since Eagle was flying towards him at its full speed and the speed of the wind blade was also very fast so the Eagle didn't get the time to evade the blae, its body was split into half and it dropped to the ground lifelessly.
