Chapter 9: Accepting His First Inheritance.

Shi Yan followed the two of them to the main mansion. Now that he looked at it, this place bears almost the same appearance as the mansion from his word, it looked like a small city.

They then arrived on top of the mansion where the view is even greater.

As he watched from atop, he noticed that the place where the servants went is more of a deserted wasteland, while the other part is filled with lush trees, mountains, and rivers.

"The two place is vastly different." Shi Yan uttered.

Yana nodded her head: "Master, we're in the middle of the Seven Grand Empires, two are ruled by humans, two are ruled by the demon race, one is ruled by the elves, and two more are ruled by beast clan."

"D*mn, that's a lot of empires." Shi Yan remarked.

He then pondered for a bit before adding: "So, are they all at war?"

Garun smiled: "Not in a war, but they have conflicts amongst each other."

Yana then added: "Right, we're in the center of all of them, but they won't attack us in any way, we're friends with all of them after all."

"Oh... So, we're neutral then?" Shi Yan asked.

"Un, we're neutral." Yana ascertained.

Garun couldn't help but hold his laughter at Yana's remark.

Shi Yan didn't know what's going on between the two of them, but he quickly forgot about it as when he looked outside, he noticed something.

From his view, he could see a large group of people, but they looked like the size of ants.

"Are those... people?" Shi Yan asked.

Yana nodded her head: "Yes, they are envoys from the Empire of Khar, they are bringing their 'goodwill' to us."

"Oh!" Shi Yan nodded his head: "Then, what should I do?"

Garun cleared his throat and looked at Shi Yan: "Master, you have three things to do till they arrive in three hours."

Shi Yan looked at him and asked: "What is it?"

Garun smiled: "You need to receive your inheritance from your ancestors first."

Yana nodded her head: "Please follow us to your ancestral hall."

"Okay." Shi Yan nodded without any hesitation, he's rather excited.

But then, he didn't see both Garun and Yana's smiles when they glanced at the escort group from the empire.

After just four minutes, the three of them arrived at a rather special-looking door.

Yana introduced: "This is where your ancestor had stayed before, from now on, you'll be using this room as well, the inheritance is there as well."

Shi Yan nodded his head, he looked at the door and started pushing it.

It's quite easy, he thought it'd be hundreds of kilograms, yet, it was just a slight nudge and it already pushed itself.

After he entered, the door closed automatically on its own.

Garun looking at the door smiled, he touched then...

"HMMMP!" Garun used everything he had to push the door open.

But after a second, he couldn't help but chuckle as he gave up: "Yeah, only they can go through, this assured me at the very least."

Yana chuckled: "You worry too much."

The two of them started some little chatter while they wait for Shi Yan to come out.

Meanwhile, inside the room, Shi Yan didn't know what to do.

It's just a bed, a chair, and a table.

He went to sit on the chair and looked at the three things on top of it.

There's a ring, there's a small bottle, and a small sword, like that of a keychain.

He thought nothing about the small sword and the ring: "This... three things are my inheritance?"

Since the two are probably just ornaments, he decided to take the small bottle and opened it.

Immediately, the smell assaulted his nose.

"This... it really smells appetizing!"

Shi Yan then tried to check what was inside by pouring some of it into his hands.

What he had thought was some kind of liquid was actually five different colored small pellets.

Then, a paper slowly fell to his hands.

Shi Yan unfolded it and started reading it.

[Red - Knowledge

Blue - Resistance

Yellow - Body Strengthening

White - Techniques

Black - Experience.]

All of it was as described, but then, Shi Yan found it difficult to understand how these pills would actually give him anything.

"Well... since it's going to give me a lot of things... Let's go!" As Shi Yan exclaimed, he threw all of the pills inside his mouth.

Immediately, his mind, body, and energy shifted chaotically.

His eyes opened widely as the pain started to show up.

"URG!" He couldn't help but grit his teeth and clenched his fist.

"ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!" Immediately, his brain started to hurt.

He's feeling extremely pained right now like his body is being gripped by a massive hand, his heart being crushed to pieces, his stomach opening widely, and his brain splitting so much.

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" He shouted his lungs out as the paint assaulted him.

Tears flowed out of his eyes at first until no more tears could flow, yet, blood replaced it.

His body started growling as muscles started growing.

His bones cracking and mending at the same time.

Knowledge started assaulting his head making him unable to even think anymore.

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" His body is being destroyed and being repaired at the same time.

At this point, Shi Yan just wanted to die, he would only lose consciousness for 0.1 seconds before pain woke him up.

It's like a never-ending torture.

Outside the door, Garun and Yana closed their eyes as they hear the loud screams of pain from Shi Yan.

They couldn't do anything, they knew of nothing other than the inheritance being left in the room.

After an hour, the door opened.

Shi Yan stood at the door looking at them with glistening blue eyes. His body is displayed in complete exposure.

His body changed completely from that of an average teenager's to a well-trained heavenly endowed body. 

His face even changed drastically, it's like his previous face leveled up by 100 more times.

"I'm... done..." Shi Yan uttered.

Garun and Yana both bowed: "Congratulations on receiving your inheritance, Master Yan."

Shi Yan nodded his head: "I need a set of fresh clothes first."

Yana immediately took something out of her ring and handed it over to Shi Yan.

"Thank you." Shi Yan replied, he immediately put on his clothes and sat down.

"D*mn it... I feel extremely exhausted yet filled with energy at the same time, it's weird and annoying..." Shi Yan uttered as he looked outside the window.
