Trouble In The Club.

By the time Xavier drove to the club Blair had directed him to, dusk was already fast approaching and soon night would fall.

Though his body and mind were exhausted, he needed to get rid of the exhaustion and stay active for the whole time the ladies would stay clubbing.

He found a good spot in the parking lot and parked the car. Without saying a word, he patiently waited for the ladies to step down and he would have the car to himself and would use the opportunity to take a quick nap.

Xavier looked at Blair through the rearview mirror and could see the happy smile on her face as she tilted her head to the side to look at the club's entrance through the car's window.

She looked super excited as if she had not been to the club for ages. Like a child who had finally gotten the candy, he had so much wanted.

Blair could hear the booming sound of music coming from the club and happiness bubbled inside her and it could explode at any time, she just couldn't wait.

She turned towards her friends and asked, "Shall we?"

"Of course girl!"

"Let's go!"

They responded one after the other, earning a chuckle from Blair. Satisfied with their answers, she turned to Xavier who had been watching her all these while and said.

"And you too, are you ready?" She asked and a surprised Xavier hummed a question to which Blair rolled her eyes.

"I meant you are coming with us, for protection. Just in case I do something crazy, hmmm?" And with that, she stepped out of the car and the others followed.

Xavier took exactly three seconds to realize the situation. It seems the heavens had laid a curse on him. For as long as he was with this she-devil, his life would always be miserable.

He sighed and stepped out of the car, following the ladies a few feet away.

Soon they all got inside the club and they were welcomed with the loud sound of music and the strong smell of alcohol.

Xavier's face twisted in distaste, but the same could not be said for Blair and her friends, they seemed excited.

Xavier had never been to a club before, he was mostly surrounded by the peaceful and calm cafe with soft music and the yummy smell of coffee. All of these were new to him and he awkwardly walked behind the ladies, feeling like an alien in the midst of happy and dancing people deriving pleasure from the movements of their bodies to the beat of the music, the alcohol and every other thing.

Soon the girls found a spot and sat down with Xavier awkwardly standing beside their table. But with an order from Blair, he walked towards the counter table and sat there, feeling as awkward as ever.

Strangely, a man dressed in uniform attire approached Xavier and offered him two glasses of drinks unknown to him. He stared at the waiter, giving him a questioning gaze and the waiter responded to his unvoiced question.

"Someone has ordered me to give you these drinks, sir." He bowed served the drink on the table and walked away without looking back.

Xavier only stared confusedly at the departing waiter. A frown latched on his handsome features while he wondered if this was how they did things here.

After a few doubts, he picked up one glass and proceeded to take a sip from it. But his face twisted from the harsh alcoholic taste of the drink. He took a couple of sips and couldn't stop for some odd reasons.

Meanwhile, at Blair's table, her friends were quick to order a round of drinks for them. They chatted about random things and laughed.

Blair hurriedly drank from her glass as she couldn't wait to get high and run to the dance floor to get herself wasted, that was the purpose of coming to this club in the first place.

She was happy her parents' assigned driver wasn't with her. Because she knew they would have either prevented her from coming here or they would have reported her to her parents.

However, while she was sipping her drink, she failed to notice how she was given only one particular kind of drink while that of her friends looked different.

And that wasn't all that Blair failed to notice. Her friends constantly gave her a forward look and smiled maliciously at each other when she wasn't looking.

Soon, more than half of her drinks were finished and Blair was completely drunk and wasted. Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes droopy, she was barely even seeing properly.

Seeing the state she currently was in, the two ladies chuckled at each other and the one with extremely short orange hair spoke up amidst the loud music.

"Blair? Can you excuse us? We would like to use the bathroom." She picked up her handbag and stood up along with the other lady.

"Uh? Okay, make sure not to waste much time because we need to dance." Blair responded, failing to see the smile that carried malicious intent on their faces.

And they both quickly left without responding. The direction they followed was not the one that led to the toilet, it was the exit and just like that, Blair's so-called friends were gone, leaving her all alone in the club drunk and wasted.

Blair was so drunk that when an unknown man suddenly popped out of nowhere and picked her up from her seat carrying her in a bridal style, she was too weak to push him away.

Her mind was all over the place and she failed to see she was being taken away by a stranger.

However, Xavier who was half tipsy was the only person inside the club who noticed the strange person that carried Blair out of the place.

He frowned and wondered if Blair knew him, was he one of Blair's friends? Xavier wondered but decided to follow them anyway.

Though he was a little drunk and staggered as he moved, he could still see clearly and could make out which direction the strange man followed with Blair in his arms.

What they did not know was that both of their drinks were spiked and someone was setting a trap for them.
