Chapter 3
Author: Blanco Burn
The Shalholm airport was currently under lockdown for an unbelievable reason— the world-renowned top three doctors had all arrived in Shalholm on the same chartered plane! This news had sent Mayor Kenneth Selby of Shalholm and the city's wealthiest man, Chuck Lavy, along with numerous entrepreneurs and celebrities, rushing to the airport to meet the three esteemed doctors: Stephen Saye, Rudolf Virchow, and Henry Gray!

Each of these doctors had gained worldwide acclaim. They possessed the ability to treat complex medical conditions and even perform miracles, bringing people back from the brink of death! As a result, those seeking their medical expertise had to pay exorbitant fees and endure long waiting lists. Some individuals had even been on waiting lists for over a decade just to see them!

Outside the airport exit, a fleet of luxurious Shalholm cars, accompanied by government vehicles, were lined up in perfect formation.

Kenneth and Chuck led a group of people, both prominent and less prominent, with respectful expressions on their faces as they eagerly greeted the three esteemed doctors walking out of the airport.

"Welcome, Dr. Saye, Dr. Virchow, and Dr. Gray! We are honored by your visit to Shalholm," Kenneth took the lead to warmly greet the three doctors. However, the top doctors didn't even spare a glance for him or the important figures from Shalholm. Instead, all three of them anxiously peered into the distance.

Vroom! Vroom!

The engines roared as three military jeeps, speeding like bullets, burst onto the scene. Three soldiers dressed in uniforms swiftly jumped off the vehicles. They were Hex, Sefton, and Augustin. Ignoring the presence of the mayor of Shalholm and the city's wealthiest man, they pushed them aside and escorted the three doctors into the vehicles. In no time, the engines revved, and with a buzzing sound, they quickly departed from the area!

Within a minute, the influential figures of Shalholm were left bewildered and dumbfounded.

"What's happening? The elite doctors were just taken away like that? Who are those men who took them? They don't look like local military personnel," expressed Harold Saun from the Shalholm Law Enforcement Bureau, his perplexity evident.

Kenneth's expression grew serious as well. Having a military background himself, he could immediately sense the intimidating aura emanating from the three individuals. Moreover, the insignia on their arms revealed their affiliation with the Dragonbreakers Legion, part of the Northern Plains Military District!

"Quick! Send someone to immediately track their whereabouts and find out where they're going! And remember, don't interfere with their operations! Just keep me informed at all times!" urgently instructed Kenneth to Harold.

Harold saluted in acknowledgment. As he watched Kenneth hurriedly preparing to leave, he asked, "What's going on? Where are you rushing off to?"

"I have to go meet the general! Something big is about to happen!" Kenneth left these words hanging in the air as he swiftly hopped into his car, leaving the airport in a hurry.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, the three thousand Dracarium elites and Dracoguards of the Dragonbreakers Legion, who were assigned to a top-secret mission, rapidly coordinated the most efficient routes available and hastened their journey toward Drakonia.

In the dense forests of North Amaloria, a figure exuding an intimidating aura sprinted with astonishing speed, covering a hundred meters in mere seconds, heading toward the nearby airport. Every living being in his path was startled by his presence.

The man was Draven, the leader of the Dracoguards of Dracarium, who had been rescued by Xayne from a pile of corpses. In this moment, he contemplated, 'The Supreme Commander's old wound has resurfaced. His mental state must have been profoundly affected, especially since his daughter is in critical condition!' Draven's sworn mission now was to reach Drakonia and reunite with Xayne!

Bam bam!

Out of nowhere, numerous figures materialized around Draven, forming a circle around him.

"Anyone who stands in my way shall meet their end!" Draven bellowed in fury, launching a breathtaking assault. With his brutal and merciless techniques, he swiftly cut down the group attempting to surround him!

Then, another figure, brimming with the same intense desire to kill, lunged at Draven's chest, brandishing a curved blade!

Splurt!

Draven tightly grasped the curved blade, blood trickling along its edge. Simultaneously, he let out a furious roar, his urge to kill reaching its peak, as he delivered a punch toward his opponent's chest!

The opponent's eyes widened in shock as he quickly stumbled backward, unable to escape the impact. He was sent flying back dozens of meters, forcefully colliding with several trees. Blood sprayed from his mouth until he finally regained his composure.

"Draven! Do you seek death? I can't fathom how you would sacrifice your own hand just to inflict a grievous injury upon me?!" The man's voice carried an icy coldness as he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"Anyone who dares to block my path won't get any mercy!" Draven bellowed, tearing off a strip of cloth from his shirt to wrap around the wound on his left hand. Then, with a powerful push from his feet, he shot forward like a rocket!

Witnessing the scene, the man, who was a foreign powerhouse, quickly sidestepped several meters. His eyes were fixed on Draven as he raced past him!

"Fuck! Are those Dracarium bastards losing their minds?" The man cursed vehemently, swiftly retrieving his phone and dialing a number. "Get me some answers! Find out immediately what the hell is going on with Dracarium! Their soldiers are completely running amok!"

Scenes like these were unfolding across the globe. The three thousand elite Dracarium soldiers and the four formidable Dracoguards persevered through numerous challenges as they advanced toward major airports, making arrangements for their journey to Drakonia. Along the way, they ruthlessly eliminated numerous opposing forces that attempted to intercept them, showing no mercy in their pursuit!

At the same time, Dracarium issued a resolute statement: anyone who dared to obstruct them, irrespective of their affiliations or support, would be mercilessly eradicated!

The world was in an uproar. After all, Dracarium stood as the most formidable organization on a global scale, originating from the enigmatic Eastern realm of Drakonia, which was an integral part of the indomitable Dragonbreakers Legion led by the enigmatic figure, Xayne Xavier!

In an instant, the entire world stood in awe. All opposing forces retreated in the face of Dracarium's overwhelming power!

...

At this very moment, in the East Yoskea Military District, which maintained control over five prosperous coastal provinces within Drakonia, something significant was happening. Inside the heavily fortified and enigmatic operational research room of the East Yoskea military theater headquarters, a tall man in his forties stood. His hands were clasped behind his back, and his steely gaze was fixed on the massive electronic screen before him. The screen displayed numerous rapidly moving red dots in the Northern Plains military region, and all of them were converging toward East Yoskea!

This man was Rhaega Zachary, the Supreme Commander of the East Yoskea Military District, who was widely recognized and revered as the Maverick King!

Being the Supreme Commander, Rhaega couldn't help but wear a serious expression, fully aware of the gravity of the situation.

Bang!

He slammed his fist down on the table in anger and shouted, "Find out right away! Why did the three hundred thousand soldiers of Dragonbreakers Legion suddenly mobilize? And notify the four elders of the Drakonia Council immediately. They need to decide whether we should intercept them or not."

"Supreme Commander! We've discovered it! We just cracked the internal communication code of the Dragonbreakers Legion. They're gathering at Shalholm in the South Rivera province! Should we deploy the thirty thousand soldiers from our Drakecrusher Legion stationed there?" his chief military advisor, Chesley Wayne, burst in, sweat dripping from his forehead.

Rhaega furrowed his brow, glanced at the electronic screen behind him, and asked in a cold tone, "Still no word from the Drakonia Council?"

"Not yet..." Chesley shook his head.

Rhaega's expression turned cold in an instant. As the Supreme Commander of the East Yoskea Military District, he held a position of great power and prestige. Leading the formidable Drakecrusher Legion made of two hundred thousand soldiers equipped with state-of-the-art weaponry, he was a force to be reckoned with in Drakonia.

However, faced with the three hundred thousand soldiers from Dragonbreakers Legion, even Rhaega's arsenal capable of obliterating millions of troops couldn't guarantee an easy victory. He couldn't afford to act rashly.

Adding to the complexity, Xayne had just been named the Supreme Commander on Mount Tiberius, becoming the youngest Centurion General in Drakonia's history.

Messing with Xayne's force would be equivalent to destroying the foundation of Drakonia!

After a brief silence, Rhaega's face grew grim. He clenched his fist tightly and declared, "Spread my orders! Intercept the southbound Dragonbreakers Legion at any cost! But exercise caution! Avoid direct confrontation! Everything depends on my command!"

Suddenly, an urgent ringing pierced through the air, emanating from the nearby military phone. Rhaega swiftly grabbed the receiver and answered, "Rhaega speaking!"

"Rhaega! It's Hammond. The Drakonia Council has decided not to obstruct! Let them pass! The council will take full responsibility for all matters. Your Drakecrusher Legion is to remain on standby! If needed, you must unconditionally obey Xayne Xavier's orders!"

A weathered and solemn voice emanated from the other end of the line, sending shivers down Rhaega's spine.

The Drakonia Council held the ultimate authority in Drakonia. Their decisions represented the entire nation!

"Understood! I'll comply!" Rhaega hung up the phone and immediately shouted, "Spread the word! No interception allowed! Power down all combat equipment! Shut everything down! Furthermore, inform all divisions that the Dragonbreakers Legion is to be granted passage wherever they go! And if they need anything, it must be provided unconditionally! Absolute obedience!!!"

"Yes, sir!" Chesley saluted and turned to relay the orders to the different divisions.

Rhaega's expression turned grave as he turned to someone beside him and said, "Find out what happened in Shalholm immediately! I want the most accurate information within five minutes!!!"

Three minutes later, a subordinate rushed into the room, assuming a position of attention, and said, "Supreme Commander! We've obtained crucial information... A grave incident has occurred in the city of Shalholm. A young girl has been injured, but the Shalholm Department of Transportation investigation reveals that it wasn't an accident—it was a murder."

"A young girl?" Rhaega's brow furrowed deeply. "What does she have to do with the Dragonbreakers Legion? Is it worth diverting three hundred thousand troops from the Northern Plains?"

"Our intelligence personnel report that the little girl goes by the name of Coco Xavier, and her mother is Serena Swift. The shocking truth is... she is the daughter of Xayne Xavier, the Supreme Commander of the Dragonbreakers Legion!" As the subordinate finished speaking, he appeared to weaken, his face a canvas of mixed emotions.

Rhaega's heart pounded, and he stood there in stunned silence. A look of sheer horror filled his eyes as he muttered, "This is catastrophic. Disaster is upon us..."

Horin gazed into the distance with a calm expression. He had not been avoiding conflict—he had been biding his time, accumulating power. Xayne could sense it in his eyes. There was ambition there. Every move Horin made served his ultimate goal. Even forging a connection with Xayne had been a calculated step to expand his influence.Xayne was a lone warrior, with no faction backing him. From Horin's perspective, all he had to do was lend Xayne a hand, earn his gratitude, and that was enough. That was why Horin had treated him so favorably. He had even shared some of his own insights, sharpening Xayne’s mindset, strengthening his abilities. Someday, Xayne might become one of his strongest ass

Horin turned slightly, directing his question to Yeti."It has been a hundred years since I last saw him. I do not know," Yeti replied with the utmost reverence.Horin suddenly shifted his gaze to Xayne. "The secret of the Nine Luminaries of the Heavenly Stars… lies like the self—no thoughts, no desires, no life, no death! It does not rely on the power of the stars! The world follows the Path of Veyara, but what is the Path of Veyara? The radiance of the stars is not true light." His words were spoken softly as if he were merely muttering to himself—or perhaps offering Xayne a lesson.Xayne's heart stirred. Horin’s insight was astounding. The eight words—"No thoughts, no desires, no life, no death."—lingered in his mind. They placed Horin far beyond the comprehension of ordinary cultivators."Magnetic fields… are simply the pull of the stars. They have al

Fent would have easily blocked this spear had he not taken that devastating palm strike. But now, his entire right side was caved in. One arm hung limply, the other completely empty. No sword, no weapon, not even a sliver of metal remained to block Xayne’s spear. It was no different from trying to catch a nuclear warhead.Yet, Fent had no choice. His retreat had already been cut off. If he turned his back, he would only meet a deadly stab from behind—a certain death sentence."If I die—then I'll drag you down with me!" The sheer force of the sword energy alone shattered the nearby trees into splinters.Xayne lunged forward, spear in hand, as a formation flared to life around him. In an instant, multiple spear projections erupted outward, each infused with lethal intent, hurtling toward Fent from every angle."Not good! Fall back quickly!"
