Rebecca offered a slight smile before quickly hiding it.
“The dirty mutt who only knows how to smear someone’s name without any proof…” Oliver remarked, his gaze shifting to them.
“…And all the followers who blindly believe her.” His eyes swept over the other guests.
As his words settled, the room fell silent.
The guests’ faces morphed into expressions of disgust and disbelief.
Jay’s face darkened in anger.
“You worthless son of a bitch,” he hissed through clenched teeth, “I’m gonna kick your ass out of your mouth.”
“This damn bastard!”
Denver growled, losing his patience. He lunged forward, grabbing Oliver by the collar.

An elderly man walked along the plush, carpeted hallway outside, furrowing his brow as he approached the door.
“What’s going on inside? Why is it so noisy?”
One of his subordinates picked up a walkie-talkie to explain,
“It seems there’s been a disagreement in the banquet hall, but it hasn’t escalated to the point of needing security yet.”
This elderly man was the host of the banquet, Ryan Williams, one of the wealthiest and most influential men in the capital.
His wealth was just the tip of the iceberg when it came to his power.
His true influence extended into every realm of this world, making even politicians heed his opinions.
“What kind of disagreement?” Ryan inquired.
“There’s been a minor altercation between a few guests: Miss Trisha, the heir of the Henverton family, and her companion; Miss Rebecca, the account manager of Umbrella Bank, and her partner, Oliver Hunt,”
His subordinate replied.
“If you think it’s necessary, I can have them removed.”
The old man stopped his step suddenly.
“Oliver Hunt…”
He repeated the name, a flicker of recognition crossing his face as he hurried toward the door.
Could it really be him?
The man who saved him. The leader of the Zero Mercenary. A force capable of shifting the balance of power in the world-
Was here?!

“Wait, Denver,”
Trisha called, gripping his arm as she remembered how Oliver had knocked him out in a single punch.
Denver just smiled and shook his head. “Don’t worry, Trisha. I was caught off guard last time, but that won’t happen again,”
He reassured her, confidence radiating from his expression.
‘Oliver may hit harder than me before, but if I strike first, he won’t have a chance to retaliate,’
Denver thought with a smirk.
With all his strength, Denver lunged at Oliver, trying to lift him to slam him down, but it ended in utter failure.
Denver’s eyes widened in shock, realizing he couldn’t lift Oliver despite his own physical advantage!
“If that’s all you can do, then get your filthy hands off my shirt before I break your bones,”
Oliver warned, his voice icy.
“You fucker!”
Denver roared, clenching his fists, ready to unleash chaos in the party.
Bang!
At that moment, the banquet hall door swung open. An elderly man entered the restaurant.
His entire appearance screamed luxury and wealth, making everyone look at him in shock and awe.
“Ryan Williams! One of the wealthiest and most influential men in the capital!”
“That suit he’s wearing costs $400,000 alone. And that watch… Is that a limited-edition from France?”
As the murmurs buzzed around him, Ryan glanced at the guests, silencing them instantly.
His inscrutable smile and commanding presence sent chills down their spines.
Oliver frowned at the fear radiating from the guests. He sensed there was more to the man’s intimidating aura than met the eye.
“He’s one of the most powerful men in this country. Wealth is just the tip of the iceberg; what’s more frightening is the influence of his subordinates. They say there’s nothing he can’t do, whether it’s launching satellites or even toppling governments,”
Rebecca murmured, noting Oliver’s confusion.
Oliver nodded, looking into Ryan. For some reason, he felt no fear of the man.
“I heard some commotion,” Ryan said, his tone authoritative as he scanned the room.
As his gaze swept over Oliver, his expression suddenly changed. He froze, and his body trembled slightly.
“Hah. He’s a dead man now for ticking off Mr. Williams,” Jay sneered, a malicious grin spreading across his face.
“And I’m sure Rebecca’s next. How dare she bring that pauper here and ruin the party? What a stupid move,” Trisha scoffed, folding her arms.
Everyone in the room shared the same thought.
They smirked, anticipating Ryan reaching Oliver.
But to their astonishment, they couldn’t speak a word the next second.
Thud!
This powerful man, capable of controlling everything, that Ryan Williams! Suddenly fell to his knees in front of Oliver!

Chapter 579: The End of Zero's Journey (Epilogue)
Before Nicholas could answer, the energy surged on Oliver’s hands. He extended his hands and attacked Nicholas with them.“Hah. Do you think you’re the only one who has the power?” Nicholas’ lips curved into a smirk. “I have it now, too. And it’s only a matter of time before I take yours!”Nicholas moved, using his blue power against Oliver. The powers collided in the middle. Yellow and blue energies speared through Oliver and Nicholas’ chests.“Your power will come to me, Oliver. Remember that!” shouted Nicholas as he released all the energy inside his body. “I’ll take it all!”Oliver screamed as the pain inside his body intensified, as if something was being torn.Suddenly, he collapsed to one knee, gasping for air. The yellow and blue energy was now blending inside him, something that was too much for him to bear.Smirking, Nicholas walked toward Oliver, now pressing his hand against Oliver’s head.“I heard that you're Eden's protector,” he muttered. “That’s why I need that power.
Chapter 578: Oliver Vs. Nicholas
By the second hour, Colossia no longer felt like a city.As soon as the worlds emerged, the old Colossia was fading into oblivion. Now, there were magical buildings that didn’t even belong to them. The time was even fluctuating between light and darkness as the portal kept moving.Enemies were everywhere.A man reached out to him from behind, his arms flickering between solid flesh and ghostly touch.“P-Please… Help me.”“Follow me,” answered Oliver without hesitation, but before he could even take another step, the man suddenly shifted his appearance. He was now wearing a cloak, lunging at Oliver to kill him.“Ugh!” The enemy groaned in pain as Oliver held onto his neck, pressing his fingers tightly until the man burned to ashes.Oliver froze afterward. He couldn’t believe that he almost fell into their trap.He even stood there longer than he should have.“Don’t hesitate,” Ray barked through the comms, snapping Oliver to his senses. “They’re using your head against you.”Oliver forc
Chapter 577: The Runes Are Activated
“I think you already have an idea what was happening, Oliver. I heard from one of my allies that you went to Eden,” Nicholas told him, gritting his teeth. “And I even heard that you’re originally on their side.”He added, “To be honest? I’m kinda envious that your powers were innate. But it’s something I could also achieve, right? And now, I did.”Nicholas’ lips curved into a smirk.“And the upcoming war that you kept on stopping? It started now… and this is also where it ends.”Before Oliver could answer, Nicholas vanished into the air.“Shit, shit,” Oliver muttered in panic, taking the comms from his waist. “Legion V, Code Red. I repeat, this is Code Red. Nicholas had already activated the six runes!”“We can see through it, Commander. There’s something weird in the sky right now,” Ray answered, the panic evident in his voice. “And…”His voice trailed off.For a moment, the entire Colossia froze while looking at the sky, not having any idea of the chaos waiting for them. Then, the l
Chapter 576: Game Over
The silence followed as no one answered on the other line.Oliver thought that their lines were disconnected, or they were all busy fighting with the others.A few seconds later, Oliver heard Ray swear under his breath.“So we’re fighting against so many people, huh?” Ray muttered with a chuckle. “What a fucking greedy bastard.”Oliver sighed in relief. At last, he had a connection with the Legion V again, even after the sudden commotion.“Where are you, guys?” asked Oliver as he went to the weapons room, taking the guns, grenades, knives, and everything he could use to fight.“I’ll come to you. I’ve returned to the Capital now.”“We know,” answered Nick on the other line. “Because while you’re in wherever you went, we can’t contact you.”Nick’s voice sounded firm, but at the same time, the anger and disappointment were evident in his voice.“Stop it, Nick,” Samuel nudged at him. “We’re almost in a war. This isn’t the time for you to argue—”“This isn’t the time?” Nick asked, his voic
Chapter 575: Change Of Plans
“She’s replenishing,” the guardian said quietly, appearing beside Oliver. “This world recognizes her, and maybe your daughter recognizes this world as well, even before you introduce this to her.”Oliver clenched his jaw. “That means she doesn’t belong to Colossia anymore.”“No,” the guardian corrected, shaking his head. “It means she belongs to both.”Upon hearing those words, Oliver looked at Anastasia again. He could see that Anastasia felt peaceful in this world, knowing her powers were accepted here.At the same time, the entities at Eden could protect her. However, they couldn’t stay. At least, not for now.And Oliver had something going on in his mind.‘If destroying the runes would destroy both worlds, then there was only one option left,’ he thought, his brows furrowing while pondering. ‘We need to destroy the one trying to control them.’“Nicholas,” Oliver muttered, meeting the guardian’s gaze, “Whatever he’s using… whatever’s feeding him… That blue energy that he kept on u
