chapter 6 : new ability

After a lot of time , he succeeded in calming the poor little girl.

"Oh, the copy seems to be doing a good job..." Isaac thought as he read the message that had appeared.

He looked at the short black ten year-old girl next to him and asked with a frown

“Are you sure your father is on the 19th floor!?”

The girl nodded, Isaac sighed sadly in his heart, he made sure that the 19th floor had no survivors, everyone there turned into zombies and he killed them.

He found himself in a dilemma, how could he tell her that her father had turned into a zombie and that he is the one who killed him !

After thinking about it, he didn't tell her about it, at least not now.

The messages that he had made a pilgrimage to kill zombies kept flashing. Isaac ignored them and searched the rest of the rooms.

An hour later, inside a room, Isaac stared at a total of 11 people in front of him, including the little girl whose name , Isaac learned was Elinor.

"Do you have any idea what's going on here!?, this window that appears in front of my retina and also the people who turned into zombies, these things I only see in fantasy movies!?, I'm not dreaming, am I!?"

A middle-aged man was suffering from a fracture in his right arm.

Isaac sighed and explained what was happening

"So you say that by killing zombies a person can become stronger and get superhuman abilities!!"

Isaac sighed, suspicion was evident on the face of the majority who had not seen how he killed the zombies, most of them had locked themselves inside the room so they had no idea about this matter.

He pointed with his hand at a vase that was on a small table beside the bed.

Everyone turned their heads to see where Isaac was pointing. Under their shocked eyes, the vase slowly floated off the table and headed toward Isaac.

He picked up the vase and said

"You see, I have the power to do this , anyway , you must be hungry, I've collected some supplies but it's only enough for one night..." He pointed to his backpack.

“Anyway you guys can eat I’m sure you need food…”

Everyone felt happy, some thanked him and got up from their places, but Isaac's next words stopped them

“But before that… In order for us to succeed in getting out of this place safely, I need everyone to tell me, in case they get some ability or skill !! "

Isaac didn't expect the little girl to be the first to speak

“Brother, I possess an ability called spatial perception…”

Isaac looked at her intently, everyone was focusing on her which made the little girl tense up

He put his hand on her head and said

“Good, can you read the ability description…”

She nodded and began reading the description

"Spatial perception is a D-level ability that allows the user to sense anything within a 30-meter range...."

“This is a useful ability,” Isaac thought as he listened to the description.

“Is there anyone else here who would like to share their ability with us!?” Issac asked again but this time there was an evil smile on his face, everyone got goosebumps when they looked at the smiling young man.

“I have an ability called Physical Enhancement, which allows me to increase my strength by 20 points…”

Isaac nodded his head to the man who was suffering from a broken arm.

With the exception of the little girl Elinor and the man, the rest did not succeed in obtaining any ability...

Isaac clapped his hand and then got up

“Very well, thanks for sharing your ability information, this is only a special case, in the future don’t tell anyone about your ability…” He patted Elinore on the head as he spoke.

He emptied his bag that was full of food he had picked up earlier, took a few and then said

"You can eat now... Do it in an orderly way , there is enough for everyone..."

After he had said his words he took Elinore's hand and walked out of the room, he went into the next room.

He looked at the little girl who was looking at him puzzled and said

" My heart didn't let me leave you with those people, they might do anything in these circumstances.. "

She nodded and took the chocolate bar that Isaac gave her.

"I'm going to sleep for a bit, you can eat the rest of the food, don't go anywhere, okay!?" Isaac spoke as he lay on the bed

She answered with her mouth that was smeared with chocolate

" Good ! "

Isaac closed his eyes and relaxed a bit, although he had a high stamina, the mental stress and strain was too much.

Although he closed his eyes that his other senses were at work, he never lowered his guard even if he was in a safe environment.

....

Boom!!

Isaac woke up after he felt the whole building tremble, as if an earthquake had hit the area

Boom !

The plates and things placed on the table started to fall to the ground.

He activated his ability and picked up Elinor, who was sleeping on the couch, and walked out of the room.

The corridor was filled with the corpses of the zombies he had killed yesterday. He avoided them and then opened the door to the next room. Isaac sighed when he saw that everyone was still in the room.

He pointed to a middle-aged woman who was hiding behind one of the tables and said

“Auntie, can you take care of this little girl !?”

The woman came out from behind the table. She had seen Isaac's strength yesterday so she felt partly safe when she saw him. She looked at the little girl who was floating beside Isaac and nodded.

Isaac smiled and picked up Elinor and placed her in the woman's arms. Apparently the little girl was very exhausted because despite all the chaos she didn't wake up.

“James, make sure they stay here ... safe !!” Isaac spoke to the man with a broken arm and left the room.

He looked at the glass window where the darkness of the night was still hanging over the air.

Standing in front of the entrance of the stairs leading to the 17th floor, he breathed deeply, then activated his cloning ability and made a clone of himself.

"Go upstairs..." After Isaac ordered his copy to go up to the upper floors, he went downstairs.
