Shortly before the field trip to Drada, Jimmy is dumped by his girlfriend, Anna Campbell, who feels embarrassed for having such a poor boyfriend as him. The girl even openly flirts with Dwayne, the boy who often bullies Jimmy at school. Worse yet, Jimmy witnesses them commit lewd acts on the bus, on the way home from Drada, which then leads to disaster. The bus falls into a ravine, and Jimmy, in a dire situation with a broken spine and leg, accidentally accesses a strange system which transports him to a realm called Icalaterra. This system allows one to collect money quickly through several hunting quests. Since then, there has been no bullying, insults, and mockeries, without any consequences.

The village of Birr was attacked by a group of Corrupted Spawn, these monsters are terrifying and dangerous. But what they are infamous for is the poisonous blood in their body. After the monster attack, some of the villagers including Amelia were poisoned by their blood. All hope is lost for the blood will kill any victim within a month and for every week the intense pain will make the victim wish they were dead. With all hope lost, the group learns of a possible cure for Amelia. Damian together with his friends will now venture to save her sister. Professor Beth informs him that there was a way out, but it was dangerous. If he decides to seek down and eliminate a spirit, the spirit will be aware that it is being pursued.
