I Am A Ghoul

The room was in silence as Delight looked at Desire and asked, [A sinner or a saint?] "Depends on the way of the viewer."

She slipped off the engagement ring, her voice cold. “You’ll never be the man I need,” she said, walking out and leaving me broken. Years later, as I stood successful and untouchable, she begged for my help. My heart ached, but I turned away. “You made your choice,” I whispered.

If one day you've got superpowers, what would you do? Showing prowess and dominating the world? Do as you wish, get whatever you need, becoming popular and wealthy? Enjoying the lap of luxury and having a lot of beautiful women? It could be said that I Was lucky. I and my two classmates got superpowers by accident. Of course, I was delighted. I knew I could do as powerful things and dominate the whole neighbourhood. And even the whole city. But it's that what a superhuman should do? I learnt something very important concerning being a superhuman. It changed my mindset.

Modern esports is by no means a game. You can completely lose everything and even your life because of one stupid mistake. I was the top player on the planet, but after I was framed, I had to leave. Though with large debts, but alive. But the brother stayed and, it seems, contacted the wrong people. Now he's gone, and all I have is a few scant clues from the virtual.
