The group sets out to hunt the Shards of Dawn, ancient crystals meant to summon
a savior god. Their bloody journey forces them to fight dwarf cartels, survive mind-bending swamps, and orchestrate political assassinations. But after barely surviving a massive war, they uncover a sickening truth. The savior god is actually a psychopathic tyrant who loves committing mass genocide.
Refusing to choose between two evil gods, the group launches a suicide assault on Malakor's fortress. While Kaelen and Bramble hold off millions of shadow troops, Arthur and Lyra climb Mount Zenith. Facing Malakor, Arthur makes an insane choice. He shatters the Shard with his bare hands, absorbs its raw energy, and sacrifices his own sanity to brutally tear the dark god apart from the inside.
With Eldoria finally at peace, Arthur and Lyra step back through the portal. They return to Earth at the exact second they left, looking like ordinary students but hiding the dark souls of ruthless predators.
