EPISODE TWO

Jada swerved the car to the right, now heading away from the entrance of the shelter.

“we need to pick Rhoda and the rest of your colleagues that we left on the mountain tell me your plans and make it as simple as I can understand” she said knowing that Astra usually comes up with ideas that require time to fully be understood by others, and time is one thing that they don’t have.

With gleaming eyes, Astra could not hide her excitement. “the plan is quite simple, the skin may be though but its face is not.  Specifically its eyes. I have been trying to shoot it in the face but it keeps dodging my shots even at the cost of slowing it down. It doesn’t bother to dodge any of our shots because it knows that the bullets won’t hurt it. My belief is that it is dodging only the shots that can hurt it. So to cut the plan short, I intend to use one of Tim’s stun bombs and use the ceremonial javelin, strapped with chrome chains and stab it in the eye while it is still stunned” she said.

“I get that we could restrict it to the car having hooked it up, but then what?” Jada asked

“now we all jump out while you drive the car off of a cliff. That should at least be enough to kill it, even if it doesn’t, we can use the interval before it climbs back up”. She answered. While going through the items in the trunk of the car, she picked out a thick silver colored rod and raised it out.

From her right, Khan has pulled out the chrome chains which are also shining silver in color, she collected the chain and turned to look at Jada who is sitting in the front seat of the rover and focused on their escape. From the side mirror, she saw what Astra is trying to do.

“wait, we need to divide ourselves into two groups and try to deal with the alien while the other group will go to get Rhoda’s team to the chrome shelter,” Jada said. She pulled out two keys and gave one to Khan who is the strongest of the four and the other to Tim.

 “take the hoverbikes on the right, and head to Rhoda’s position, merge the bikes and try not to draw the attention of any other aliens, these things are killing machines.” She added

Tim and Khan reloaded their guns put them in their bags, they both moved to the right side of the rover and pulled the two levers to the side of the door, instantly two motorbikes which have two exhaust-looking structures instead of wheels. Both Khan and Tim inserted the keys Jada has given them and started the hoverbikes, climbing on top of the hoverbikes and swerving in the opposite direction towards the hill.

The alien that Is chasing the rover did not hesitate even for a second to look at the two as their hoverbikes floated away from the rover at a speed that is twice that of the rover. While the rover is limited to having wheels rolling o the vehicle, rolling on the rocky surface, and bruising her elbows and knees that hit the rocks. The alien monster quickly started using its forearms and started trying to pull the javelin out but the wings on its head have hooked enough flesh that it just won’t come out, not only that but this made it have to run fast enough to keep up with the rover otherwise it would just rip through its mouth flesh and drive off.

Jada is aware that the direction she is currently accelerating towards has a cliff that goes down a few tens of meters long, once the rover is almost there she jumped out of her seat into the air to the left, just enough to avoid the claws of the alien monster before the Rover plummeted down the cliff and dragging it down with it.
