Six

The dark and cold night had been planted in the city with a dense fog that almost completely covered the buildings, something malevolent was camouflaged in it, because on that day something out of the ordinary would happen, something that even James himself would take by surprise.

The next day in the morning I woke up very early, according to Mom the day before she had said that it would be my turn to make breakfast, which I hated since I was bad with those things and that if I didn't, my sisters would inform her if I disobeyed. In the fridge there were eggs, milk and a box full of flour.

"Perfect, this will be enough for me to make pancakes," I took a glass pot placing the ingredients and started beating them. I instantly turned on the TV and started singing. It all started well.

"Having, wake up sleepers," I knocked on the door of my sisters' room. "I have brought them a breakfast that they could never eat in their lives." Come on, get up! I hit the door even harder.

"Come on!" they talked from the inside.

"Have," I placed the dishes on top of your beds, "so you can see how your older brother takes care of them, if they complain it's to taste."

"Do you have poison?" he sounded as sarcastic, as always, wanting to bother me.

"If you want, don't eat them, maybe they fit more in my stomach." I get out of the room.

I had to leave early, once again I was late with going to college, I didn't want to be mocked for being late. This time I didn't want to do that teacher's stupid things to be able to get in.

KATSURO

"Where the hell will you be?" he was on his way to an uninhabited place. "it's always the same with this guy." Apparently he loves to play the important one.

Two subjects had appeared in front of me, one was a vigilante and the other was just a subject.

"What did you love me for?" go even further, this could be the color of ant.

"Where do you think you're going?" The subject intervened to stop my advance, placed his hand on my chest and stopped me dry. Believing that he had the authority to do so.

"You'd better not put a finger on me again," I put his hand away, shining it with my gaze.

"Leave it alone!" I told him that I wanted to talk to him—he ordered his subject.

"Why did you come here?" I stood in front of him. "Only I am supposed to be on this mission, isn't it?" Or is something wrong that I don't realize? Because if so, let me know immediately.

"That's right, but they are orders from beyond and I can't disobey, you know, I think one of the special spirits crossed the barrier." "Do you know what that means?" he looked up. "It's better to act quickly and accurately.

"Say special spirits?" Wait—I turned pale—but how is that possible? They do not have the power to do so, and the power they have is much greater than all low-ranking spirits.

"That's why I came, because I know that work won't be so easy, also from what I see you haven't made much progress with that boy, you know that he has a hidden power that surpasses ours, but that involves a lot of technique to be able to master him." We can't afford to lose it that way, it's our only hope.

"Whatever, I will be able to master this on my own and I won't need your help," I vanished.

JAMES

"Good morning, can I come in?" I knocked on the door of the classroom. The class was already beginning. Everyone was at their desks copying something that was already on the blackboard.

"Again late, young James," the teacher stood up approaching me, "now what excuse will he tell us?" "approaching in a stalking way.

"I couldn't take the bus on time," I scratched my head, hopefully and that convinces this idiot.

"With what couldn't he take the bus?" His tone was like he didn't believe me, "I'll let you in with a condition," he crossed his arms.

"Which one?" I wanted to know.

"I need you to sing this song," he took out his cell phone and played a horrible song. "otherwise you won't go in." So what do you say? Do you sing or not?—I negotiated.

Damn, I wanted to break my fist on his face, I would never do that, the people in the classroom would laugh.

"Okay, I will, but I won't sing it all," I had no choice but to make a fool of it.

I did it and indeed everyone started laughing at my out of tune voice, it was a bit painful, I just closed my eyes and let the laughter end.

"Go ahead, James, let's hope you come later days to brighten up the morning," he returned to his desk.

"James, we need to go outside." Katsuro appeared in the classroom a little worried.

"Why?" I wrote in my notebook.

"You just got out of here," he was going to the exit.

"Teacher," I raised my hand.

"Any contribution you want to give?" he gave me the floor.

"No," I smiled, "I just wanted to ask him for permission to go to the bathroom." I put my lips in a single line touching my private part.

"Yes, of course, we don't want to smell bad," the students lashed.

Seriously, he hated this teacher and his terrible sense of humor. Someday I will get revenge not too far away.

"What do you love me for, Katsuro?" You realize all the ridiculous things I do just to come here.

"Ten, take," he gave me a kind of scroll with letters that I didn't know. "What's this?"

"They are scrolls that you will stick to your body every time you have to fight, they are sealed with the blood of vigilantes, they will allow you to preserve your soul more."

"But I don't need any of this, Katsuro, remember that I am very strong," I tried to get rid of them.

"Don't be stupid, James," he looked worried.

"Hey, are you okay?" I wanted to know.

"Not really, there is something that is taking away my peace of mind a little," he turned his face looking in another direction.

"What do you mean?" I picked up the scrolls.

"You see, I got information that a special spirit crossed the barrier," he put his hand to the back of his neck.

"Special spirit?" I frowned. "What is that thing?"

"A special spirit is not an ordinary spirit, its powers are much stronger than the spirits with which we have been struggling, even than Loki, they are spirits that must be in the underworld, not in this world." The difference between a special spirit and an ordinary one lies not only in its power but in its appearance, special spirits look the same as that of humans, they look harmless, but they are a machine of death.

"Do you mean that a special spirit may seem like an ordinary person?"

"That's right," a guy appeared in front of us. "he was wearing gray pants, black shirt and white shoes. "What are you the chosen one with?" Well, I don't see you so strong as we say, I think it will be a quick job and it won't cause you any pain.

"We'll see that," I positioned myself to fight.

"Wait," Katsuro intervened. "here it will be very dangerous, don't you think?" "We should go to a clearer place where human lives are not in danger," he suggested teleporting us to a mountain.

"Come on, attack chosen, I wait for you," he opened his arms waiting for my first attack.

"What do you want that?" I will give it to you—I raised my power little by little, the air surrounded my body coming a flashing light from within, thus giving way to my transformation.

"Wow, with what is that your real face," I think I retract what I told you, better not attack, I'm very afraid," he mocked.

"We'll see if you keep mocking," I took my sword very hard and attacked it head-on. He didn't have time to dodge my attack by throwing it at some trees destroying everything in his path. "It looks like your mouth was too big, does it?

"That has hurt me a lot, damn!" he set aside the trees coming out of them.

"Here I go again," I vanished appearing behind his back.

"What?" he was undeterred, turning his neck backwards.

"Take it!" I kicked at high speed, catapulting him to the ground.

KATSURO

It is strange how this special spirit is being easily defeated by James, I don't understand, they are supposed to possess impressive power, but their level of power it shows is very low. Could it be that James is actually much stronger than him making him look inferior?

"James, don't trust yourself, okay?" I suggested.

"Nevenge, everything is under control, remember what I told you," he took his sword again.

The battle continued and James was ahead, he was destroying the body of that spirit.

It seems that the coming of that other vigilante was in vain, only James was enough to control the situation.

JAMES

"Farebye, you'll die cursed from here!" I struck my hand hitting him with brutal force, hitting him on his forehead, but I hadn't moved it for a single centimeter. "What?" I frowned.

"Did you finish having fun?" he smiled diabolically, "It's my turn." In just a few seconds I saw how in such a short space it generated hundreds of blows all over my body, I felt my bones creak.

"No!" Katsuro was approaching me, but immediately this guy had cast a spell immobilizing him, he had a kind of chains around him.

"How pathetic to believe that this weak being is the one who has been granted the cursed seal, I think they have been wrong, this is not the chosen one," he mocked, "prove this," he generated another blow very quickly hitting my abdomen, immediately I began to spit blood.

Fear invaded my mind, the subject I had in front of me would kill me in the next attack.

"Take...!" he pounced on me. Death was approaching.
