Mina's agony was apparent. the tears that fell down her cheeks were filled with great sadness.

on the other hand, Yen was sure that he had arrived in his destination, the problem was to do when he got there. he was aware of Mina's pain but he didn't know what to do about it, and before he could do anything he was distracted by a loud voice that said "we have you surrounded. come out with your hands in the air"

on hearing the voice, Mina's sadness immediately switched to anger. "I want those bastards dead" she said as she reached for her crossbow and got ready for battle. then she looked outside and saw the great number that she was up against. it was like a welcoming party of death. each one of them looked dangerous and hard to deal with and Mina immediately realized how irrational her decision was and crawled to the part of the deck that couldn't be seen from outside.

"don't listen to them" she said, looking at Yen

"It doesn't matter what we do, they're still going to kill us"

  "why?" Yen asked

"well I caused a whole lot of damage during my escape and I also have information that they don't want spreading so if I'm recognised I don't think they would hesitate on erasing me and the people around me. do you get it now?" she asked, but Yen was silent for a while. then he looked at the multitude that surrounded them them and replied "how about we just eradicate them?"

  "are you crazy?" Mina exclaimed

"do you not see the difference in number?"

  "so?..."

"what do you mean by that. there's no freaking way we can win. think for just a moment"

"but these guys are definitely small fry"

 "how do you know that?"

"because I have faced them before"

Mina could confirm that Yen was being sincere with his words but she still had a lot of doubt weighing on her.

"are you sure of this?" she asked. and Yen replied "just watch" as he jumped off the ship and walked on the water onto land.

In their mind

everyone was screaming "JESUS CHRIST!!!"

they messed up

and now they had to pay the price

as Yen walked through with all his lightning

and did what you'd find hard to call fighting,

Mina stood back and watched in awe,

as he used his foes to break the floor.

what she saw had so much elegance

that the fight itself looked like a dance

it was beauty for more than just a glance

and more than enough to cause a trance

the tearing sounds were like snare drums

and the head bashing sounds, like bass

it was like a song of victory

as if the battle had already passed

from this violence came a song

that captured the the hearts of the young

and when Mina saw Yen all in all,

she just couldn't help but fall in love

she also missed a step and fell literally into the water. and as she swam out, Yen was waiting with his hand stretched out ready to take hers.

"so, what now?" Mina asked Yen as he pulled her out of the water.

  "I don't know." Yen replied.

"but I don't think we should remain here" and they both agreed to look for a place to stay and avoid unnecessary attention. but that seemed to be the most impossible thing to do.

they couldn't go for up to five minutes without having to destroy an automated defense mechanism. and this continued until they left the city area and got lost in the woods.

"we should have just turned the ship around and and left" Mina lamented

  "agreed" Yen replied.

"but it's kinda too late for that"

as they waded through the bushes, Mina got curious.

"so where do you come from?" she asked.

  "from the heavens" Yen answered

  "that's impossible" she said

  "but it's true" Yen replied

she had nothing against his pure sincerity.

"so what do the heavens look like?" she asked, but Yen sincerely answered "I don't know"

"I don't understand" she said in confusion.

"how can you be from there without knowing how it looks"

but everything Yen said was true. his first ever life experience was when he saved Uzo, and before that, he spent spent thousands of years asleep, waiting to be called. he was asleep right from birth, dreaming indefinitely until his eyes were opened and he was given a mission. he explained this to Mina and she fairly understood.

  "okay" she said

"and It seems like we're finally leaving these woods" she added as she pointed to what looked like a small settlement of people.

  "let's go"

from afar, one could tell the village was not well developed. what was surprising was the fact that they were just coming from a well developed city that wasn't too far away and yet, it looked like a place that never had contact with any form of intellect.

before they could get close enough to see anyone, the village was hit with a huge explosion and fell to ashes before their eyes.

"I can't help but think this happened because of us" Mina said in a sad tone.

"the real problem is that this might happen to another village" she added

"and we have no way of saving the residents"

"would guarding them in fortress work" Yen asked. and Mina answered "yeah but how do you get a fortress?" in confusion.

Yen stayed silent for a while before answering.

"My Instincts are telling me to go far south" he said.

"and I have the feeling that there's a fortress there."

Mina was already accustomed to believing everything Yen said and agreed to go with him. they made their way through many of the villages, interacting and investigating, and one thing they found was that none of the people they spoke to didn't really know what they were doing. they had become so reliant on the prophets that they couldn't make any important decisions without them. It was very unnatural but Mina and Yen were too much in a hurry to investigate further and kept going.

They had covered a significant amount distance when what looked like a fortress came into view. but as they got closer, what they saw was a fortified city big enough to be called its own country.

Yen smiled as he looked at the Iron walls and the gates that glimmered with gold and said "so this is my new home"
