CHAPTER - 7

"My King!"

Adam and Eve, both found themselves in an unfamiliar hall.

They looked around, everything was shining in white light of the marbles.

And in front of them, was a huge man looking younger than them.

He wore the white clothes with the touch of gold and he held a white scepter.

When he spoke, their bodies moved on their own as if they belonged to him.

"You're Adam. And you, Eve."

Adam and Eve nodded their heads as they were given their names.

I gave a slight nod.

How long am I going to talk to myself?

My name is Birkangwra Basumatary.

A citizen from India.

* * *

Birkang looked at the two as he stood up and walked towards the front hall.

Following him, Adam and Eve didn't forget to glance around.

"Your purpose. Help me build my empire. First we will recreate this ruined city."

He walked out of the Palace and showed Adam and Eve the devastated city.

"King. We will not be enough."

Eve asked with some hesitation in her voice. Adam agreed to her thoughts.

"Worry not. More will come."

Birkang had his right hand on the scepter as he made them float in the air.

Since he could use magic. That's something only a few people can do.

His blood was inside Adam and Eve, even though it had some variation.

They should be able to use magic.

Coming down back to the front part of the Palace, Birkang turned to face Adam and Eve.

"Try it. There's energy in you. Use that to make fire through your palms."

He himself couldn't do it until he had his hands on the black gloves.

Birkang had high expectations from the two.

"Yes, King."

Adam raised his palms and concentrated. He could feel the energy running in his blood vessels.

"Ahh!"

He grinded his teeth and focused all those energy to go to his palms.

*Puffs*

A small orange flame lit above his palms. Adam stared at it with a smile on his face.

Seeing this, Eve also tried and was successful in creating similar flames.

"Good."

Birkang said. He was happy with the development, but to keep his image as a King.

He didn't show much expression.

'I think I must look pretty cool right now.'

His thoughts wandered as he looked at the two and waved his left hand.

The flames died. Adam and Eve were surprised by the King as they bowed their heads.

"Choose any room you want. But the top floor is off limits. I will find you in a bit of time."

Birkang said his words and left the Palace in a hurry.

Adam and Eve nodded their heads, and they walked together to check the rooms.

"So, we are born together…"

Adma started the conversation with Eve, but he couldn't match his eyes with her.

"Em…yes, I think."

Eve was shy as she replied to Adam.

If someone saw them, they might already be mesmerized by their beauty.

"Which room would you like to take?"

They had visited all the bedrooms on the ground and other floors except the top ones as the King said.

Due to the variations that occurred with the knowledge in them.

Also with the effects of their bodies, Adam and Eve developed their own personalities.

"That one."

Eve pointed towards the room which was connected to a wide balcony.

"Oh, then I shall take this one."

Adam picked the one beside the bedroom that Eve chose.

He didn't know why, but he felt a deep bond with her the moment he saw her.

"Hmm."

"Then let's see each other in some time."

Adam smiled at Eve as they entered their respective bedrooms.

Each bedroom in the Palace had a washroom so there wasn't any need for them to step out for a bath.

Eve looked around the room and stared at the bed for a while as she sat down.

The bed was very soft and fluffy, Eve could easily bounce on it.

"Is this the feeling of being alive?"

She stared at the ceiling of white marbles while her back laid down on the bed.

"Happiness…"

She muttered.

* * *

I came out of the Palace as I had to collect food to eat.

With the scepter as the medium, I flew in the air searching for animals.

Since I can't find a single one in the ruined city, I went further in the forest.

Wild boar!

Not long I saw that behind a bush, a wild boar was grazing the grass.

Such animals like this wild boar and pigs can't look up because of their fixed and short necks.

I floated above the wild boar and held out my scepter.

*Boom*

A bolt of lightning shot at the wild boar and killed it within seconds.

Smoke raised from its burned body.

As I was about to take the wild boar back to the Palace, I heard something.

I turned around and looked behind a tree which was about 6 meters from me.

A shadow flashed by that tree.

"Monster?"

I went higher in the sky and looked down at the forest but didn't see anything.

'I must be careful. There should be very strong monsters out there.'

I am strong, with the ownership of the Palace and these black gloves, even more.

But who knows what monster lurks here.

They might even overpower me.

"I will hunt you down when I have gained enough strength."

I didn't need to use thermal vision to see how many monsters there are.

Flying back towards the Palace with the dead wild boar, I gazed at the ruined city.

'It will take time.'

Yes, lots of time to fully build a kingdom then an empire.

But to greatness you must take the necessary steps.

Even skipping one will be a huge problem.

*Bam*

The loud sound of the collision of the King's scepter and the marble floor made Eve and Adam wake alert.

They both came down and reached the front hall.

There, Birkang stood with a dead wild boar behind him which kept floating.

"Do you know where the kitchen is?"

Asked Birkang as he looked towards Adam and Eve.

They nodded their heads.

"Prepare it, lunch."

Birkang handed them the wild boar, and headed towards his bedroom.

The wild boar was heavy, but Adam was very strong as he lifted it easily.

"Let's go."

He and Eve went towards the kitchen which was on the ground floor.

* * *

Birkang sat on the huge Emperor bed which faced the wide open window.

'How should I start first?'

He pondered.

'From now I won't use my blood to create lives. Instead, I will use Adam's blood for the male humans. And Eve's blood for the female humans.'

'They will be the Noble's. And then, with the Noble's blood I will create the commoners.'

'It might take me a few days to create the Nobles and a few weeks for the commoners.'

'By then Adam and Eve should be able to use the magic efficiently.'

'I will make sure that the Nobles will be able to use magic but not all commoners.'

Why so?

That's how the system works.

Say me idiot, not that I will care.

'I should also make ranks for the magic. But that can be done later on.'

'What this ruined city needs is lots of cleaning and wiping.'

Birkang looked at the clear sky and the bright sun.

He had so much work to do.

Birkang held the scepter and walked down the stairs reaching the front hall.

Then he made his way to the kitchen and saw Adam roasting the wild boar on the grills.

The Palace is so magical that it read my mind and made the kitchen into a modern one.

Drawers on the wall and around. Plates and other kitchen utilities are placed neatly.

"King, just a bit more and the meat will be ready to eat."

Eve came forward and bowed her head to Birkang.

"Don't be in a hurry. Jaldi ka kam shaitan ka."

A hindi quote meaning one must not be in a hurry or the work he or she did might go wrong.

"Yes, King."

Eve, still with her head down, replied.

"Eve, come with me."

Birkang called Eve and went towards the huge dining room.

There was a very long silver table with tens of chairs.

At the end of the table, a bigger chair which looked quite comfortable was placed.

Birkang walked till the end and sat down on that chair.

His eyes looked at Eve.

As they were his creation, he didn't feel any attraction from them.

"I will explain this to you now. Share it with Adam later."

Birkang explained.

Hands behind her back, with her head down, Eve stood erect before Birkang.

"Learn how to control that magic in you."

'Even though I don't know it myself.'

"Practice and perfect it. You two will soon start going out to hunt and fight."

Birkang then lifted his left hand and opened his palm.

The stone fixed on the scepter on his right hand glowed with a white light.

On his left palm, two small glass test tubes with plastic lids formed.

"Take this."

He handed the tubes to Eve, the latter knew what this normally is for.

"Fill them with your blood. One for you and the other for Adam."

Eve understood and nodded her head.

"And this as well."

Birkang created four pairs of white clothes for the two which he gave to Eve.

"Go."

Birkang said. Eve then took her leave and went back to the kitchen.

"I need to learn more about this Wonder."

Birkang waited until Eve and Adam brought the plates full of meat.

There was a special pump in the kitchen where one can get fresh and pure water so Birkang didn't need to create.

He enjoyed the lunch, with two companies and not alone.
