Chapter 1: Trainee of the police academy.

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City.

A policeman patrolled on his motorbike under the carpet blue sky with a few clouds. Although he was about to graduate with honors from the People's Police Academy, the young man still had to undergo a period of training, starting with the smallest jobs in the police force, also known as an internship. Unlike the others, Quoc never complained about this. Terrible childhood memories and training at the police academy had given him more patience than normal people. Most importantly, the young man still hoped that one day, the organization of those policemen, which did not exist in life, will recruit him.

-  Hey! - A voice called out from the star. Those were two children.

- Don't call me like that! - Bai Quoc said – I’m a government official, after all.

- Looks like it's still in the process of practicing! - A kid with a blue shirt and white hat opened his mouth to speak. – By the way, is your gun real?

- I want to touch it a little. - A kid with a spiked head with a tank top spoke up.

Before he could do anything, he discovered that Quoc had been standing aside with the car ever since. Anyway, training in the police school was not useless.

- You must not do that! According to the law, only people of the armed forces and authorized individuals can use and come into contact with weapons. - Bai Quoc said with a gentle but strong voice.

- Please! - The two boys still didn't give up.

- Your parents are over there! - Quoc said and then looked into the distance, making the two children turn to look. They were afraid of their parents scolding them or worse, cating their phones and computers, but no one was there.

At that time, he took the car and drove away. It must be said that if it weren't for his quick training, the guy wouldn't be this fast.

Anyway, this was his last day working as a neighborhood policeman. Quoc then quickly followed the pre-designated place to go to the office he had always wanted to work for since that day. It must be said that the man himself did not understand how he was able to remember when he clears his memory erased, in their own words.

After that, he quickly went to join the process of catching criminals. This was an important part of this internship. Strictly speaking, no one let the inexperienced go on the front lines to ruin everything. However, for Quoc, it brought him indescribable excitement.

- Everyone gets ready for the mission! - The announcement speaker sounded.

At this time, the police soldiers were urgently for their first serious task. Everyone was preparing for the mission that was judged to be dangerous even though everything was firmly grasped. Holding the AK gun in his hand, Quoc climbed into a dedicated vehicle to go on a mission. While the car was moving with its distinctive siren, he reunited with his friend from when he entered the police academy.

- Hello, my close friend!!! – He said - Through this case, we have graduated, comrade Khoa. I look forward to graduating from school and working with you.

- Are you sure, Comrade Quoc? - Guy named Khoa said. – I am not proud of my achievements at all.

- Don't tell me you don't want to be a police officer. - Quoc said.

- The same could be said. Anyway, this job does not cost money to study, does not cost money for accommodation, is fully covered by the state, guaranteed to have a job after graduation, no salary debt, a  guaranteed pension, insurance, children can also fragrant, so if you say you don't want to do it, it will be a lie. - The young man named Khoa said. - However, I do not have the same desire to protect justice like you, Quoc. I don't understand why you have so much faith in the police.

- I don't suddenly have faith in the police force... - He said.

- What do you mean? - Khoa asked again.

At this moment, Quoc's eyes became bright:

- If there are superheroes, it's them. No matter how difficult it is, the people in that blue shirt don't give up. Those are the people's policemen and superheroes. They will always protect this country no matter what they face, including monsters hidden in the veil of reality.

- Do you still believe that there is an organization in the Ministry of Public Security called the Abnormal Security Bureau? - Khoa said and looked away.

Since getting to know each other, Quoc had talked countless times about an organization that seemed to have come out of a sci-fi movie that exists in the Ministry of Public Security. This story Khanh heard a lot, so he got used to it even though he was late to believe that a force like this existed or at least it had nothing to do with himself.

As for himself, Bai Quoc wanted to tell his friend that it wasn't a belief he had seen with his own eyes but the people's police soldier rushed into battle with a non-human enemy. Although he did not know why he still remembered it, Quoc knew for sure that one day, the man was becoming a member of this force.

Meanwhile, the police force also quickly arrived. Experienced polices quickly volunteered to go ahead. Although they were really to volunteer, no one would let two guys with only a few months of practice experience catch one on a dangerous boss.

- Do you know this guy named Ky? - Quoc asked.

- I don't know, I just know it's a very dangerous criminal. I don't know where it appeared from, but within a few months, he manipulated the entire underground world, declared war on the police force, and was targeted by the Ministry's scouts due to its particularly dangerous nature.

Meanwhile, the campaign to shake hands with the dangerous boss had officially begun. A dozen of policemen under the support of a sniper force began to move into the place where the subject needed to be arrested. A series of gunshots rang out. The criminals in the entrenched position should fire continuously. However, police soldiers with reinforcements from snipers and pre-made secret forces quickly ended everything.

- You are behind me! - An officer spoke up.

- Roger!

At this time, two interns, Quoc and Khoa, were allowed to come down. In general, they were here to see everything. Currently, the police force broke through the door, where a man was waiting.

- Ngo Ky, you have been arrested! - Two police Taskforce with guns pointed at a man sitting at a desk.

The guy had his back to the barrel of the gun as if nothing had happened.

- Do not use opposing weapons! - Another person spoke up.

Then, he signaled to Quoc and Khanh to handcuff and escort him. Since today's raid was simpler than expected, neither of them had any experience to learn from. However, at least their internship was successful.

“Why is he so good? The boss's lair without any significant resistance. Everything is too easy.” - Quoc thought.

He then took the guy out with his friends. The police were now trying to stop the curious crowd. Even so, the number of people filming and taking pictures was also extremely large, and some people took advantage of selling food and drinks for officers.

- Now is the time to start a new life. Boy, do you know what's so interesting about this life? - He spoke calmly like a philosopher, making Quoc dumbfounded for a moment. Most importantly, he made you feel so familiar with his voice but couldn't remember where.

- What do you mean? - Quoc found it difficult to understand. It reminded him of those things, things he'd encountered as a child.

- If you think you're powerful, you can take a boss like a pet in the name of a law enforcement officer. However, this world has many things beyond human perception, including policemen like you, boy. They are extremely serious threats that exist in the midsamidithout our knowledge. - The criminal said while the policemen next to him were expressionless even though they wondered why this guy wasn't a novelist but broke the law.

- Even so, I still believe that the Vietnamese police never give up and will do their best to protect the Party, the Motherland, and the people's peaceful life. - Quoc said with determination. – Even if supernatural things do exist, as you say, the people's armed forces are still capable of dealing with them.

- You know they exist. I wonder why they don't erase your memory or you're not human either, boy. The criminal continued to speak.

- That's enough bullshit. Do you think you can pretend to be crazy to escape the death penalty? -  Khoa stepped in and pulled the guy away with his hand. – I am the one holding the power right now!

- Let me show you what true strength is. – He said creepily.

After a while, everyone's eyes became confused.

One of Quoc's arms was almost falling. It was so badly injured that it couldn't see its shape and everything happened so fast before he could feel it. However, compared to the soldiers who were cut into pieces, Quoc was also extremely lucky.

- There's an ambush! - An officer spoke up when a trainee was injured and his comrades lost their lives.

Meanwhile, Khoa quickly carried his friend to a safe location. Around him were police soldiers in a ready-to-battle stance.

- You're here. I'm going to help people. – Quoc’s friend said.

He then took the gun and walked towards the place where the danger occurred.

For Quoc, although he said it was in a safe place, he still observed everything quite clearly. It was a horrible memory no less than his childhood one.

At this time, countless cries appeared. It was like a swarm of predators, which is not possible in a densely populated place like Ho Chi Minh City. Then, a bunch of guys appeared in cloaks. They moved too fast, even for special forces. The sound from inside their cloak reminded Huy of that terrible day on the bus.

Even so, the horror had only just begun. When they took them off, officers saw a terrible horror.

- What the hell is it! - A police soldier exclaimed.

Before the eyes of the policemen were a series of creatures taller than them by a head with a deer horn and blue eyes. The face looks like a mask made of bones. Its chest was full of ribs and decaying flesh. Hands full of claws. It was the same thing that Bai Quoc had seen ten years ago.

- All keep the squad! – The commanding officer tried to put aside the horror and confusion to give the order to fight. – Fire at will!!!

Although it was rare for the police to be allowed to shoot like this, the experience of fighting crime was not for play. However, it did not seem like that was enough to deal with the enemy in front of them. Although the bullets shot out non-stop, the speed of those creatures moved too fast. Some of them were hit by bullets and stopped for a moment and then continued on nothing happened. Right after that, a series of knives with bullet speed flew toward the people's police officers. They easily pierced them like paper knives.

- Damn it! - Two police behind Quoc also opened fire. However, things were not much better. If anyone noticed, some bullets would have been stopped by an invisible barrier made up of countless hexagons. They seemed to be even harder than the shells of an armored vehicle.

- Vietnamese police are really good! Even when he was fighting an enemy he had never known before, there was no sign of disorder in his formation. However, you still don't have enough equipment to fight me. - Guy Ngo Ky said. – It’s not good for you when Abnormal Security Bureau is not here!

During this time, all the policemen here, except Quoc and Khoa, all collapsed. Meanwhile, the criminal also began to change form. He had a corner of his mouth that extended to his wrists, revealing sharp teeth. Each breath and sentence carried a terrible stench as if he had hundreds of dead rats in his mouth.

- It's you! - Quoc spoke up.

Even though he was badly injured, the hand on his other arm was still forming a fist.

The other guy said nothing. He motioned for the two deformed creatures to rush towards him at the speed of a race car. At this moment, Khoa rushed forward, using the AK47 in his hand to shoot at the enemy. This friend of Quoc clearly understood that the others were not invincible, they could still be shot down. When they were rushing at high speed is the best opportunity for the guy to take action, like how people used rifles to shoot down planes in the Resistance War against the United States, known as the Vietnam war. As he did, the monster fell to the astonishment of Ngo Ky, or whatever he called himself.

However, the beast was more intelligent. The other ones jumped high, rushing toward Quoc to Khoa's surprise. Bai Quoc immediately took out the gun to shoot, but the pain in his hand made him unable to react as flexibly as a normal person.

Khoa himself quickly shot down the other series of knives. However, a few of them collided causing the young man to fall.

- Are you okay!? - Even though he was injured, Quoc still rushed to ask.

- Why are you shouting like that? I'm fine… - Currently, a series of bizarre blades are rushing up.

- Hazardous!? - Khoa shouted and stood in front of his friend. From the mouth of the people's police academy practitioner, a stream of blood flowed out.

- Why!? - Quoc asked. His whole body shook when he saw this scene.

- The reinforcements are coming. If the "Abnormal Security Bureau" exists as you say, that guy Ngo Ky is paying dearly for his crimes. - Mr. Khanh said. - As I said before, I don't have any great dreams. I'm in the police force because it's guaranteed and my health and education can meet it.

- That I know... - Quoc said.

- Listen to what I have to say. I admire you very much, comrade. Because you have a dream that idea't have. When the people's police officer's words are read during the graduation ceremony, read them on my behalf... By the way, if I ever see the girl you met when you were a kid again, talk to her. … Besides, text my sister that I'm sorry…! - Those were also Khoa's last words before he died.

Using his hand to touch the artery on his neck, Quoc knew it was no longer beating. A life passed away at a very young age, along with countless other people's police officers here.

- Fuck you!!! - The boy shouted in the middle of the space filled with the smell of fresh blood.

- Do you want to kill me for revenge? – Ngo Ky was walking over and spoke with a mouth that stretched to his ears. Around this guy were a few entities wearing panda masks.

- I’m making you pay, as an officer of the people's police! - Quoc said and looked straight into the eyes of the creature and his subordinates though he was severely injured. There was no fear or begging. That's not what policemen do.

- Very interesting, kid! The good news is that all of humanity will eventually learn of the existence of Abnormal Objects and organizations that were created to study them in vain. Memory erasing won't work anymore when the number of people who know the truth reaches millions. - The name guy spoke up.

The smell of a corpse from his mouth filled the air around him.

At this moment, Bai Quoc was ready to die. However, if he survived, he would do his best to make him pay dearly for his crimes.
