MONTHS LATER

“Mum.” Austin called as Alexia tried to button up his shirt and her hands shook as she did. Tears clouded her eyes and Austin kept staring at her.

“Mum.” He called and still got no response.

“Mum.” He called again as her hands shook.

“Mum!” He yelled.

“Shut the fuck up!” She screamed at him and he flinched, Alexia froze as she realized what she just did and she placed her palm over her mouth immediately.

“Austin, I am so sorry.” She cried and Austin nodded, he moved closer to her and held her hands.

“Mum, is something going on? Is everything okay?” He asked and she cried loudly, he slowly wrapped his tiny arms around her and she cried.

“It's okay, don't cry again, pretty girls don't cry.” He said and Alexia chuckled.

“Thank you.” She muttered and sniffed, she wiped her tears and sighed.

“Is something wrong? I have actually been noticing the way you have been since dad started going on his business trips, you cry every night, you always look pale, sometimes you stay in you
