Raising his head, Orion looked at his classmates. They were all wearing suits and dresses. In all his class, Orion was without a doubt the most average one.

With Princess Liana next to him, he was outshined easily.

They were all mostly looking at Liana except a few.

"Eh ?"

Suddenly, Orion met Aura's gaze. She was smiling awkwardly at him.

But Orion quickly averted his gaze.

He remembered when no one stepped in for him when the leader punched him and took his pendant.

He knew it was normal as they didn't consider him as a friend or acquaintance to begin with. But that's why Orion preferred not to do anything with them anymore.

At that time, he believed naively that someone would step up, as he was just a nobody who didn't have a background like them.

Unfortunately, no one stepped in. At that moment, Orion truly understood that his classmates didn't give a damn about him.

"Lord Orion ?" Liana called out, seeing Orion's conflicted face.

Orion looked back at her and saw her worried face. She was worried about someone like him whom she had just met half an hour ago.

'Then I will be your friend, Lord Orion!'

He remembered her words. She was the first person who said that so directly to him.

"You are really a good person, princess Liana..." Orion muttered.

"Eh ? How many times are you going to say this, Lord Orion, I'm getting embarrassed!" She replied with a happy face.

She was not embarrassed but rather happy about the truly honest praise.

"M-My bad..."

"Oh you are here, my daughter!"

Before Liana scolded Orion for his umpteenth apology, the Emperor's voice rang out.

"Yes father." Liana's atmosphere changed to a gracious and serious one different from before with Orion.

Then her golden eyes turned toward Orion's classmates looking at her and she bowed graciously by pinching the hem of her dress.

"Greetings Heroes from the otherworld, I am the first princess of the Solaria Empire, Aeliana Irene Solaria." She said with a beautiful smile.

*Gasps*

More than half of the class gasped, including Andrew, Austin and the Hawkins brothers. She was very beautiful. Maybe two or three levels ahead of the fourth of their class.

Elena glared at Austin, who was looking gobsmacked at Liana.

Her friend Daisy sighed at her friend.

If she had to give her opinion, the princess was indeed more beautiful than them, but the fact that her hair color and eye color were so unique played a big role.

Golden hair, golden eyes and snow-white skin with a beautiful face. There was obviously nobody even near her resemblance on Earth.

"Father, I brought Lord Orion with me. He is completely healed."

When she said, she unconsciously let out a genuine smile.

The students gasped again, seeing a more beautiful smile than before upon mentioning Orion.

Of course, Liana was just remembering about the fiasco Orion caused when she was healing him.

But for others it was very suspicious.

'What happened during those freaking thirty minutes between them!'

'This bastard is just a nobody compared to me. She will soon understand that.'

Andrew and Jordan wanted to tear Orion apart, while the other men were extremely jealous.

The Emperor and Empress just smiled at her. They knew she considered Orion just a friend, even if just that fact was already surprising.

"I see. Greetings Hero Orion, I'm the Emperor of the Solaria Empire, Helio Damian Solaria."

"Greetings Hero Orion. I am the Empress of the Solaria Empire, Margreth Solaria."

Orion wanted to bury himself in the ground when they called him 'hero', but replied nonetheless.

"I-I am O-Orion Kenway, greetings!"

As expected, he stuttered.

*Sneer*

*Giggles*

Several of his classmates mocked his shivering figure.

Liana kept her smile but she was feeling angry that they were mocking Orion. He was on the verge of dying when he appeared in the hall and nobody came to him to ask how he was and here they were mocking him.

'No wonder that he said he doesn't have any friends...'

"Well, now that everyone is here, let's start. Please come one by one in front of the stele." The Emperor asked politely.

"Who is the fir..."

Before Austin even spoke, Jordan stepped forward.

Seeing him, Austin shook his head.

Jordan went in front of the stele and placed his right hand on it.

The runes shone the contact.

[Jordan Hawkins, Lightning Attribute]

An ethereal voice rang out from the stele, surprising all the students.

But the most surprising ones were the imperial family and priests.

Lightning magic was extremely rare and only the royalty of the Fulgura Kingdom inherited it.

"Amazing, as expected of a hero from another world!"

"Yes! Only the royalty of the Fulgura kingdom had the lightning magic, but not anymore!"

"It was said to be very rare...wonderful!"

The priests cheered at Jordan's attributes.

Jordan felt like something clicked in his mind. Then he extended his right hand.

Crackle_!

Yellow lightning sparkled around his hand.

A lot of his classmates looked at him enviously and were eager to awaken their abilities.

"You are very talented, Lord hero."

The Emperor smiled, satisfied by the first person showing with an immense talent.

"Hmpf! It's obvious." Jordan snorted and got off of the autel.

"As expected of you, Brother! My turn now!"

Vincent said, but before he walked Andrew was already on the stele.

Andrew was irritated by Jordan gaining so much attention.

For Andrew, Jordan was like a rival as, like him, he was aiming at the four girls in their class and now even Liana.

'As if I would lose against him!'

Thinking about that, he put his hand on the stele and the ethereal voice rang out again.

[Andrew Whiteford, Light Attribute]

Again, they were all shocked, especially the Imperial family, as Light was hereditary in their family. It was as rare as lightning magic.

Andrew extended his hand like Jordan before and a bright golden light engulfed his hand.

"I-Its incredible..." The emperor was gobsmacked

Andrew wanted to smirk at Jordan but kept his innocent gentleman face and walked off.

"Tsk!" Jordan clicked his tongue to the happiness of Andrew.

After that, most of them awakened their abilities.

[Aura Ancel, Ice attribute]

Ice magic was also an hereditary ability of the royalty of the Niveis Kingdom who were in enmity with the Solaria Empire, so the Emperor was really happy about that.

[Elena Harris, Wind attribute, Water attribute]

Having two attributes was as rare as having lightning, light or ice attributes, so it was very surprising.

[Sienna Anderson, Fire attribute, Earth attribute]

[Anna Foster, Fire attribute, Telekinesis Ability]

Telekinesis was, with others, special abilities part of the 'derivative' abilities as they were not really attributes, but nonetheless, it was very strong and rare.

[Ryan Stewart, Shadow magic]

Ryan also got an hereditary ability from the royalty of an allied Empire of the Solaria Empire, the Nychterin Empire.

The other people only got one attribute, but they were still very happy to use magic, which was just a dream in the previous world.

Finally, it was the turn for the last two people.

Austin and Orion.
