Chapter 6(The runaway groom!)

He couldn't even stand properly, his eyes gazed at the surroundings again, he intended to run away from this madness but the two men held his arms and they seem even more stronger than he was.

The first was making a phone call, two inches away and Alex could tell he was calling out for someone to come pick them up. This was all a trap and he needed to take his plight no matter what happens!

Alex, inhaled deeply, turned his gaze to the man at his left hand, bite him and when this bitten man groaned, everyone's attention was diverted to him and Alex seized that opportunity to hurtle from these strange people who seems like agents being sent to catch up with him.

His weaken legs had to scamper away from danger and more adrenaline pumped inside him to aid his movement.

"Ethan!" The woman in the wedding dress called attempting to bolt after him but she tripped on the hem of her dress, fortunately, she was caught by the first body guard. He had to assure her to stay calm that her groom would be found.

She sniffed, held her gown and said;

"I would never let him leave again, stay out of my way"

Immediately she uttered those words, his gaze darken on her, his eyes followed her as she chased after the racing man who had been a headache just for today.

The former intended to go after her but then a message popped up on his screen which made his face unexpressive and dull.

"At the beach, he survived"

That was his reply, he shoved his face accross the beach sand towards the path that the rest followed racing after the groom.

"Do you really not remember that night? Ethan?" He mused and jogged behind to find the groom.

***

Alex guesstimates that they were tail on him and caught sight of an elderly woman dressed in a bikini and cartwalking towards his directions, quickly, he reached out to her first and rammed her over the incoming three behind him. The woman fell on them unintentionally and they struggled to get her out of the way but it was too late because he suddenly vanished into thin air.

The bride met them stranded at a spot and could tell that they wouldn't move from that spot else they would drop dead mostly when they had to battle with an extra weight on them. She ran pass them, this woman was so sturdy that she was mindless of the stress she gave her tender body as she pace after her groom with hopes that they would unite despite the choas that was happening at that moment.

He wouldn't say he was relieved from missing out on them, he never wanted an explanation for the few minutes that transpired between them. He panted heavily as he paused over at a place where he found quite secured. Alex didn't release that he was at someone's porche, and his head beneath a window. Until he felt water drizzling from above on his arm. He raised his arms high to evaluate what was dropping but suddenly someone fell into his arms, and wrapped her arms around his shoulders while letting a silent gasp. Her head laid lazily on his chest as her breath kept that area warm.

Alex narrowed his brows at her, he couldn't see her face clearly and the situation was getting worse than expected. This girl raised her head high, smirked at him as her eyes were looking up at the window.

"You? Are you stalking on me?" She barked spranging out from his arms and intended to run but then ran back to him. A thought rang through her mind and she realized that leaving him here to die in the hands of those after her might leave a guilt in her till her grave.

"Come with me except you don't want to die!" She declared and eyed him with a frown. Alex found it difficult to believe who he talking to.

How many beautiful ladies was he going to bump into and each seems to know him? Usually he found it difficult to communicate with anyone let alone girls as he was shy from them and here is one calling him a pervert!

First, she fell into his arms, secondly called him a stalker and now she's demanding him to follow her if he wants to stay alive. Alex wasn't moving an inches as he tried to get a vivid understanding of the situation but this girl just pulled him along with her in a hurry as she could hear crashing sound from the house. They began another race, if Alex was in the Olympics, he would have won a golden medal from his constant race. He had no option than to keep to this girl's lead as they both held their hands and speed up as fast they could.

"Who are you?" He asked beneath his breath while slowing down, as he tottered behind her. It was then he heard voices from behind them calling out to the girl's name while he was addressed as a stranger.

"Don't let them escape!"

The voices were louder and when he turned back, it was like a mob of peasants were after him, and the only person he could recognize was the woman in the wedding dress! Goodness she was racing faster than anyone else! which got him frighten.They had increased, earlier, if he could recall, it was six after him and now, they were more in tens!

This was certainly him featuring one of those action movies, along with a stranger who acted like the boss in this whole scenerio. As luck might be on his side, they lost them at a distance.

She didn't give an answer, besides how could she, in such a situation? She beckoned on him to be fast, This girl didn't realize her hair kept slapping his face that he had to unexpectedly pull her close to himself and his arm unintentionally went around her slender waist. Her lips almost met with his as his breath fanned her face. Those eyes of hers could tell that they were shocked and shiver at how close he was again with her.

"What do you think you're doing! Pervert!" She snarled, shoved his hands and folded her fist to hit him but he spat;

"Your hair! I can't see clearly if it keeps obstructing my sight..." He paused having sensed that he was in danger and yet still had time to speak to a stranger rather than parting ways with her!
