Marrying a Crazy Girl

Kenneth was taken to Quella's room by a few servants. Now, he is officially Mr. Alexander's only daughter's husband. As Kenneth was about to open the bedroom door, his heart was beating fast. He was scared because it would be the first time he saw Quella's face in person. Kenneth went into the room after heaving and letting out a lot of air.

Suddenly...

"Aaaaaa..." Kenneth let out a startled scream when he saw what looked like a ghost in front of him.

There wasn't much light in the room, so when Kenneth saw a figure in white with long hair flowing forward, he thought it was a ghost.

Praakkk..

Quella shut the door once more. Now, it looked like Quella was pressing Kenneth's body against her, which had just fallen to the floor in shock. Quella snapped, "Who let you into my room?" as she showed her long, yellow teeth that looked disgusting.

Kenneth said in a shaky voice, "Aaa-I. I'm your husband.” even though he wasn't sure at the moment if the figure that looked like a madman was Quella. Kenneth wasn't sure, because the picture he had seen of Quella was nothing like the one he was looking at now.

“I do not want to get married. I won't let you get married to me. Aaarghhh.." Quella grabbed Kenneth's hair and slammed it against the wall with all his strength.

"Aahhhh! Quella! I'm in pain!" Kenneth was in pain and screamed. He was strong enough to make Quella helpless, but he didn't want to hurt her.

"I will kill you!" Quella said.

"Arrghh! Why did you kill me? What did I do to you, Quella?"

“It was your fault that you did what my parents told you to do and married me. I hated men so much that I didn't want to get married. I think all men are jerks, and I want all men to die, including you. Pranggg... " Quella breaks a glass and picks up one of the pieces to hurt Kenneth.

But Kenneth grabbed Quella's hand right away. “Quiella, wake up! I don't think you're crazy, so please don't hurt yourself this way,” said Kenneth. He threw away the broken glass that Quella was holding and then put his arms around her.

"Let me go!" Quella didn't give up, and she bit Kenneth's hand at one point.

"Aaarghhh!" Kenneth screamed again as Quella bit his arm until it bled, but he didn't want to let go of the girl.

When Quella got tired of fighting, she finally stopped. Kenneth let go of his hold. Quella went to bed right away.

"Quella! Look out for shattered glass!” Kenneth yelled when he saw Quella about to step on the broken glass that was still on the floor. But it was too late because Quella's foot had already stepped on the broken glass.

"Aarghhh!" Quella sounded like she was crying.

"Stay still! Don't move! " The orders of Kenneth. Quella also did what Kenneth said, maybe because she was hurting.

Kenneth carefully walked up to Quella, lifted her body, and put her on the bed.

Kenneth said softly, "I'm going to take the broken glass off your leg. It might hurt, but please bear with it for a while." Kenneth slowly pulled the pieces of glass off of Quella's feet. As soon as he did, blood started coming out of the girl's feet.

"Ugh, it hurts so much!" Quella groaned again.

“Hold on, I'll ask the maid for medicine and bandages for your wound."

"Put it in that drawer already!" Quella pointed to a drawer on the desk next to her bed.

Kenneth got the medicine box out of the drawer and started to clean Quella's wound slowly. After that, Kenneth put a bandage on Quella's leg.

"You should rest first, and if your feet still hurt, don't stand up or walk. I'll clean up the glass that broke. "

Quella didn't say anything as she watched Kenneth clean up the broken glass. But Quella hadn't met a man for the first time. Before, Mr. Alexander and Mrs. Sherly would often set up Quella with a man, usually the son of a business partner, so that Quella could forget her ex-lover and live happily ever after again. But every time Quella saw a man's face, she thought of how her ex-lover had hurt her. So, when Quella meets a boy, she acts like a crazy person, which makes the boys feel disgusted and afraid to talk to her. Since then, people in the city have heard stories about Mr. Alexander's crazy daughter.

But this time, Mr. Alexander not only put his daughter with a man, but he also married them off right away without even asking Quella's permission first.

Kenneth went back to Quella after picking up the pieces of broken glass. By that time, Quella had taken off her hair and her false teeth. Even though Quella's face was still covered in spots, Kenneth could see that the girl was pretty.

Quella then asked, "What's your name?"

Kenneth said, "My name is Kenneth Immanuel."

"Why did you marry me?"

"I married you because I love you," He said. Kenneth answered in a way that he thought would make Quella happy.

But when Quella heard Kenneth's answer, she smiled in a cynical way. “Don't tell me a lie. I know that my father must have given you a lot of money or a good business in order for you to want to marry me. I know what my dad is like. I also know that you can't get married to me for nothing, " said Quella.

"I think it doesn't matter why I got married to you. Because right now, being happy is the most important thing. Stop hurting yourself because a lot of people care about you. "

Quella moved her head. "I no longer believe in love. Someone used to tell me every day, "I love you" but he betrayed me by saying the same words to other women every day,” Quella's eyes were wet, and then she turned around, hugged the pillow, and cried to herself.

Kenneth felt sorry for Quella when he saw her crying like that. Kenneth wanted to give Quella a hug to make her feel better, but Quella would never let him.

Kenneth slept on the floor on a rug while Quella slept in the bed. Kenneth stared blankly at the ceiling of her house. Too many unexpected things have happened in his life recently. He had lost a lot of things and had met new people. Kenneth didn't know what God had in store for him. But Kenneth was thinking about one thing at the time: he wanted to heal Quella's heartache. Kenneth wanted to see Quella smile because he thought Quella's smile in the picture on the wall was so cute.
