For the next two hours, Alex focuses his attention on his lecturer teaching. But deep down, he was thinking about what Mona and others has said previously. It's hard to believe what others are saying especially when you are so in love. Everything seems so real and perfect. In the end, Alex chooses to ignore those reminders. He wanted to see Alicia tonight especially so after he did not have the chance to see her for a few nights already.  After their class ended, Alex hurriedly left the class. But on his way out, someone has to shout his name out loud. It's none other than Mona. “Alex wait up!” she said while chasing after him. Alex who was almost next to the existing door stop and turn around. “Damn it, it's her again what is it this time” Alex cursed in his heart. “Alex wait up where are you going rushing like mad people?” Ask Mona. “What do you want Mona? I'm a bit busy right now” he said annoyed. “It's lunch hour Alex, what are you busy at?Well, I just wanna say I’m sorry if what I said previously offended you in any way. I didn't mean to do that. It's just, I care for you” said Mona politely. “Okay, that's new. Anyway you don't have to worry about me Mona, I can take care of myself,” said Alex. “If there is nothing else, I should get moving now” He later turn and try to leave Mona. “What? Wait! Why are you rushing? You didn't tell me where are you going and now you’re leaving” said Mona. Her tone is a bit louder this time. “As like what you said, it's lunch hour, I'm going lunch,” he said. “And no, you cant come with me. Goodbye Mona”. Alex left just like that leaving Mona speechless. Alex knew, the longer he listen to Mona, the more miserable he’ll become.

”Jason where are you do you wanna have lunch with me?” SENT. Alex W******p Jason. A few moments later, Jason replied. “Alright see you at the cafeteria in 5”. Once Alex received the reply from Jason, he makes his way to the cafeteria. He ordered his food and take his seat while waiting for Jason. A couple of minutes later, Jason arrived. “Wait for me, I go get me food first,” said Jason. Alex did not respond and just continue eating. While he waits for Jason, Alex catches a glimpse of Mona. “Damn it, why is she here?” Alex tried to avoid eye contact with her but Mona was fast. She caught Alex looking at her and she smile and make her way toward his table. Alex cursed even louder in his mind.

“Oh hi Alex, are you alone?” Ask Mona. Alex fake a smile and said, “oh hi Mona, you’re here too. No I'm not alone. Jason is here with me”. “Can I seat with you guys? Please!!” Beg Mona. At the same time, Jason approached them. “Hey Mona what are you doing here?” Asks Jason. “Oh hi Jason, haven't seen you for quite some time. How are you doing?” said Mona.”Come seat with us. We can talk more,” said Jason. “Seriously? Mona was excited. “Yes, there’s plenty of empty chairs here. Go get your food first” said Jason being a gentleman. Alex on the other hand was making faces. He rolled his eyes. But Jason did not get the hints he was sending. Finally Alex just accept it. “Yes Mona, go get your food and we can talk more here” said Alex. “Alright if you guys insist, wait for me here, do you need anything” said Mona. “Nah we’re alright”  said Jason. 

“Dude, why did you invite her to join us?” What? Why? I taught you and her... like each other? said Jason while devouring his food mouthful. “Oh God no, she talks too much. I don't like her” Alex was annoyed. “By the way, did you remember you told me about what happened at the park a few years ago? About dead body found there?” Asked Alex. “Yeah, why? Don't tell me they found another dead body there!” said Jason casually. He is still focusing on his meal. “No, it's just Mona told me the same story this morning and warn me about that place”. “Warn you about what? I thought that story was just a rumor, there’s nothing to it. Maybe you just worried too much. Just eat your food and we’ll be out of here in no time.” “Well maybe not before Mona came back and speaking of the devil, there she is,” said Alex while hinting using his eyes towards Mona. “Oh god we’re too late then,” said Jason laughing.

“sorry guy for making you wait for me. So what are you guys talking about? You better not be gossiping about me” said Mona taking her seat. “We’re just talking about some rumors Mona. You should know better you are the source of everything” said Alex. “Alex are you still mad at me about what I said earlier?. “Woah what happened between the two of you? What did you say, Mona? Jason asked. “I did nothing... Mona said innocently. “All I did was tell him about what happened at the park years ago.” Jason take a breather and said “You know that’s it just a rumor. Nobody knows what happens. So stop spreading lies, Mona. You gain nothing out of it” “what? Now you said I was lying. I am not. If you guys don't trust me, go and check the newspapers reports. It's all there. Like what you said, I gain nothing out of it right so why should I be lying to him?” Mona sounds a bit defensive. “Yeah, maybe I will. After all, where did you get the idea she was murdered? You watch too much CSI I think” said Alex. “Wait what? Who was murdered?” Now Jason was puzzled. “I thought the girl committed suicide”. “I don't know, you better ask our Miss CSI here how she came up with that theory,” said Alex referring to Mona. “Firstly, I don't watch CSI, and second, can you guys see, nobody will commit suicide just because they cheated. It's absurd. Plus, the swing is not that high, she can touch her feet on the ground even if she decided to hang herself there. It's not possible” said Mona. Now she sounds like one of those officers in the CSI series. “I cant comment on that as I did not know what happened. I need to read the news first. For now, as far as I'm concerned, it will remain as rumors.” said Alex. “Why can't you see it, Alex? Please don't tell me you’ve been dating her ghost?” said Mona sarcastically. “Fuck Mona, don't get too excited” Alex almost lost it when she said that.
