CHAPTER 9

It has been 2 days of searching and what the Jack Pirates are only receiving were hints for the past 2 days. It is now April 2nd of the afternoon, and they are back on their ship and was discussing all the hints they have received in 2 days. To the others, this is something to be glad of since they are finally getting onto something with these hints. However, Thomas is having doubts about this. It is because these hints just randomly appear in places where they were. That can be considered as coincidence, however, it happened for 2 days straight. Something is wrong, and Thomas knows it. The hints were just too easy and too good to be true. And then, William revealed something,

"I have gathered some information. It turns out that three navy warships are docked at the main port of this kingdom and is waiting for orders so they can transport the criminal that is being kept here." William says.

Thomas nodded and this is when he came up with a guess. He told the crew his hypothesis, and at first, they just think it's impossible since the navy might not know where they were. However, as they realized that they have left their enemies alive, it should be safe to say that those pirates told on them, and the navy is now aware of the presence of the Jack Pirates in this kingdom. This is when they have now believed that the navy is behind the hints, and it seems that the navy are luring them in so they can capture the,

"Cunning bastards," Jeff cursed as he then looked at Thomas "What are we going to do, cap'n?" he asked.

Thomas then thinks of it,

"If they are playing with us, then we would return the favor. Play along for now and let us see how things unfold. William, gather information about the prisoner that will be transferred tomorrow evening. The others, continue your job and find the x while accepting the hints. It would be fun to see the faces of the people who toyed with us as they are getting fooled themselves." Thomas explained as the crew then went back to the city to investigate.

Meanwhile, at the Milk Palace's throne room, an argument was rising.

"He is innocent, father! Just because he is a descendant of that man, doesn't mean he has the same intent as well! Give him a chance!" yelled a girl, wearing a fancy blue dress and then have this long ash gray hair.

"Silence! We've been through this, Tina! He has criminal blood running through his veins! He can't be trusted; he is violent and is a threat to this kingdom! Remember this, he killed 15 of my soldiers." Says an old man sitting on the throne.

"It was self defense! Your soldiers were coming to kill him, he did what he needs to do in order to survive! How can you be so—"

"Shut your mouth, princess Tina! One more word, and I will banish you from this kingdom!" bellowed the man.

"Dear, that is crossing the line now, don't speak to our daughter like—"

"Shut you trap too! Don't defend nor tolerate her! She has become a brat, not worthy of becoming a princess and ruler of this kingdom!"

The blonde woman next to the old man who was king Jobert Mil, king of the kingdom of Miliq. And the woman on his right was his wife and is the queen of Miliq, queen Kendra. Tina, who just got embarrassed by her own father, ran back into her room, and just sobbed there. She just can't bear the fact that she is being forced to turn a blind eye on this. Because the man who is going to be move into a new prison is her best friend. As she sobbed in her room, someone suddenly tapped on her window three times. She stood up, wiped off her tears and looked out to see who that is, but she already knows who it is. And sure enough, as she opened the window, a woman with red hair was dangling on a rope and was smiling at the princess,

"What? Daddy scolded you again?" asked the redhead.

Tina rolled her eyes,

"And you are here because?" Tina replied.

"I have something to tell you, that I know will cheer you up." Says the redhead.

The princess then invited her in and then she locked the window behind them. The two girls sat on a chair and was facing each other. Redhead girl told Tina what she wanted to. She told her that there are currently pirates at the isolated village at the western end of the island. And she also told Tina that the pirates seem to be looking for the clue to, however, they are not causing any trouble and were just lowkey.

"Did you identify who those pirates are, Penny?" Tina asked.

Penny nodded,

"The rookies, the Jack Pirates." Penny answered.

And then, without any hesitation, Tina asked Penny to assemble a group of 5 of her warrior friends and they will accompany Tina and meet with this pirate group. Penny told Tina that it would be dangerous, however, Tina is confident that the Jack Pirates won't do them no harm. Because if they would, then the village those pirates are staying on should have been destroyed already. Since there is no way on stopping Tina once she has her mind set on something, Penny just nodded and told Tina to meet them at the center at 10 in the night later.

Hours have passed, and the Jack Pirates are now back to the village with no success of finding it. They are now eating by the fire with the villagers, when they heard something. Horses and carriages can be heard coming their way. The pirates stood up, while the villagers behind their backs. And then, as the carriages and horses arrived, one of the carriages opened, and a beautiful woman maybe in her 20s and was wearing a simple, yet beautiful white dress. It was the princess. Some people then surrounded her as they approached the pirate group,

"At ease. I will do no harm, just here to talk, is that okay with you, Thomas Jack?" Tinas asked Thomas as she looked at this very handsome young man.

"And what does the princess of Miliq want to talk with pirates like us?" Thomas asked as he smirked.

"I can offer you something that you will not be able to decline. I will offer you the clue for the treasure you are looking for, in one condition, you will help my friends prevent a certain prisoner from being transferred tomorrow night." Tina offered.

"First things first. Who the hell is that person anyway?" Jeff asked.

"The clue you guys are looking for. He is Henry Teach, descendant of Captain Keaton Teach, the one who hid the treasure."
