009: Female Impersonation For The Perverted Dispomaniac

10:15 pm

November and Macey stopped in front of a cramped looking apart in a screeching halt. The street was dead quiet and three stray cats hovering around the building screamed with wide eyes, before running off. They were frightened at the humans' arrival upon a gale.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" November stood aback as he shoved his fists in his pockets and kicked a piece of pebble.

"Just relax," Macey assured him before ringing the doorbell.

There's a screeching noise when the door gets opened by a woman.

"Macey?" She blinked, uncertain.

"In the flesh,"

"Oh my god.." she barely finished exclaiming before Macey pulled her into a bone-crushing hug.

November just stood in the entranceway and stared at the females hugging. He didn't care, he just wanted to get done with Macey's silly idea so they could go ahead with their plan. Stacey Calhoun needed to be found before dawn.

"I sort of missed yah, you know,"

"Me too, Gyda, me too."

"And I've got a baby,"

"Oh."

"Hooked up with a famous guitarist who arrived in town. It was a fling and he left town the next morning…and then two months later, I found out I was pregnant…I didn't even know his name," Gyda paused to laugh like a maniac.

"That's…huge." Macey blinked, wide-eyed. November took it that she wanted to say something else but bit on her tongue.

"I know right? Baby Bri is four months old."

"His name is Brian?"

"Brianna, a girl."

"Nice." Macey cast November a look to see if he was worried because Gyda wanted to keep going. November appeared calm but his left leg was vibrating. He was holding back his impatience by thinning his lips.

"You know, I haven't gotten over him.." Gyda breathed out.

And Macey nodded, "listen, Gyda. We're…" she started to talk but got interrupted.

"What brings you here? It's been so long. Like five years? Kinda shocking that you still remember this place when I only brought you here once to pick up something," Gyda caressed her cat's head. "How's your brother, Quentin? Hope you both aren't getting in trouble anymore? And…and.." The woman, Gyda, looked away and stroked the head of her purring cat who was suspiciously glaring at November.

"You know, you can mention his name, it wouldn't hurt," Macey took a step back and folded her arms across her chest.

Gyda's eyes twitched before she looked away.

"How's your dad?"

"Holding up good," Macey answered and then turned to November, "she was our babysitter until she had a thing for my dad and got fired because she made an advance at him."

"Oh," that was all November could say.

"Who's this? Your boyfriend or something?" Gyda stepped forward to examine November, who in turn recoiled and stepped backward because her cat looked like it wanted to attack him.

"Ew, no...I wouldn't date him even if he is the last boy on Earth," Macey hooked her hands around her throat and feigned gagging. November just scoffed and shook his head. The last thing he cared about was being deemed unworthy of dating by Macey Brightside. "November's just a neighbor of mine," Macey added.

"Lad isn't bad looking. Just lanky, he needs to slow down with his studies and visit the gym more often," Gyda circled November with her cat and then paused to sniff at his hair, which was weird.

"I beg to differ. Having a huge trained physique to impress girls has never been on my mental note or My Life's Must Do's." And then he turned to Macey, "We have to hurry, now's not the time to catch up." He puffed out in frustration.

"What does he mean?" Gyda bounced her head from November to Macey.

Macey twitched her lips, took a step to Gyda's side, and then pulled her by the arm, "He wants to impersonate a female to catch a very perverted dipsomaniac at the club."

"What?" Gyda's jaw dropped in shock.

Twenty minutes later…

"So this Charlie Wang-Holder…" Macey began to say but kept her make-up brush down to have a good laugh at the last name.

"Charlie Wang-Holder introduced himself to us as Mrs. Thompson's maternal grandson on the first night they moved in. Mom invited them for pasta and lamb stew." November informed Macey with his eyes closed. He was yet to open them because Gyda was still slapping several powders to his face, making him feel hot all over.

"Wang-Holder," Gyda mimicked November's British accent, chuckling to herself because the name was too amusing for its own good.

"Something Always seems a bit off about him. I'll bet he knows his grandma kidnapped your sister."

"He's an alcoholic, chases after everything in skirts." November painstakingly stated.

"Uh-huh, so that's why you want to dress up as a woman and head to his favorite club, and then what?" Gyda inquired, adding mascara to November's fake brows. For a moment he wanted to just scream because it felt insane to go through this torture, just to dress up as a woman.

"Lure him into some darkened corner, and get the required information about Mrs. Thompson, because he'd be dead drunk."

"What if he connived with Mrs. Thompson to kidnap your sister?" Gyda inquired. And November flicked his eyes open.

"She's making a valid point," Macey agreed, adding the finishing touches of her make-up.

"Then he'd be thoroughly dealt with.." November gritted out. He was yet to stare at his reflection in the mirror.

Gyda blinked and then shooed away her cat who was on top of the fridge, stretching his back, ready to dive November.

"Do you kids have the alien virus, too?" She asked.

"No." Both November and Macey chorused flippantly. They were not willing to risk Gyda knowing about their quirks, otherwise, they might be in danger. However, how they produced their response was rather suspicious.

"Why would we come for your help if we had the infection-induced powers? We could easily head to the club and threaten Charlie Wang-Holder." Macey tried to ease the tension in the atmosphere.

A loud crashing sound from the sitting room shocked everyone.

"Miedra! " A gruff, feminine voice cursed from the sitting room.

"Mama!" Gyda shouted, running out immediately, leaving November and Macey alone.

Baby Bri woke up, broke into a full volume of wails, and tossed in bed until she nearly fell off.

November was quick enough to hold her still with his eyes, he was about to put her on the bed when Macey said, "wait,"

"What?" November didn't take his eyes off the baby, scared if he did she would fall off.

"Lift her up,"

"Are you insane, do you want the mother to freak out?" November whispered.

"Just do it, she might stop crying," Macey whispered back.

He finally did it, lifting the baby up until she began cooing, vomited breast milk for ten seconds, and broke into a huge toothless grin through a deep heave.

November swayed her in the air for some time, doing several dances with her body and she laughed so hard and pooped in her diapers.

"Oopsie," Macey asserted, shell-shocked.

He hurriedly put the baby back on the bed when her mother's footsteps began drawing near.

"I should hurry with your make-up so you can meet your Charlie Wang-Holder." Gyda patted the top of his nose with the make-up brush.

"He looks woman enough, doesn't he, Mace?"

And Macey nodded, "And pretty. Thankfully he's wearing a big breast-pad, so Charlie Wang-Holder will be unable to take his eyes off him."

"My mom's gonna kill me if she finds out I impersonated a female." November rolled his eyes in their sockets.

Gyda added one last touch to his make-up, forced a blonde wig in his head, and then stepped aside from the mirror.

"Take a look at yourself in the mirror. You beardless, sissy-faced slim beauty." Gyda purred like her cat, Lucifer.

"I'm growing a beard because of this." November frowned, clearly offended that he was being addressed as a sissy. He was a man.

He stood up to take a peek at himself in the mirror and then gasped in horror.

"Like what you see?"

"Charlie will be unable to resist you,"

"You'll steal everyone's breath away."

"Do you have the fake IDs ready?"

The non-stop talking was putting his ache-stirring brain in a frenzy mode.

"Aye,"

"For a minute, Jesus!" November audibly exclaimed and the swinging curtains dispatched from the windows, stirring a gasp from Gyda and even baby Bri.

"Gotta go! We have no time to waste!" Macey snatched the fake IDs from the table and pulled November by the arm. The boy was still contemplating on stepping outside like that. Never in his one and half decades, plus one year on earth did he expect to dress up like a female. He finally got a grip on himself because he was doing this for his younger sister.

They jumped out through the window, ditching the idea of using the front door after bidding a shocked Gyda goodbye. They were aware she knew something was up with them.

"So where's this scumbag's favorite club?" Macey whisper-yelled as she helped his feet into the four inches heels.

"Uhhh…it's an AV-69 club, about an hour from here." November tried to walk in the heels and almost slipped, but he used his quirk to gain his balance and grabbed a pole, as his legs danced in nervousness until Macey forcefully freed his hands from the pole.

"Jesus, I wonder how females walk in these things." He staggered with the heels and Macey snickered.

"We should take a cab," she suggested.

"No, that's time-consuming." November interjected, slipping the skirt down to cover his masculine thighs, "we're running there in less than eight seconds."

"We can't show up like this, they'll know you have quirks and hand you over to the government." Macey pointed out, wrapping her fur coat over her shoulders. Her own make-up was as heavy as November's, to make her appear a lot older than her age. And she walked in the six inches heels just fine.

"We'll stop like three blocks away from AV-69 and walk down there. Time's not on our side." November said through frustration.

"Right, where's your phone?"

"Switched off, in the purse."

"Same as mine. Else our parents would bombard our phones with calls. I wonder how they feel right now. My dad's prolly yelling off the station's roof and your mom.." Macey barely finished talking when she saw herself hanging in November's arms. They arrived three blocks away from AV-69 just as they planned.

Macey held November's arm the whole time they walked to the club because he was having a hard time with his heels.

On reaching the entrance of AV-69 that stood a long queue and hefty bouncers, they side-stepped the queue and met the bouncers.

"On the queue or beat it." The first bouncer glared at them, and November shot a questioning look at Macey.

"You're Big Tony, right?" Macey inquired with a smile.

The bouncer appeared flabbergasted for a moment before getting a grip of himself, "who are you?"

"Doesn't matter. How would your nun of a mother feel when she finds out her beloved son lied about working as a contractor."

The bouncer's eyes were as big as saucers upon hearing this.

"IDs." He gritted out and they flashed him the fake IDs before he let them in.

"Christ, Mace, how did you know about him?" November stared at Macey, completely marveled.

"Overheard some gossip about him on the queue." Macey provided.

They walked into the club that was jam-packed with dancing sweaty bodies. There was a mixture of sweat and perfumes emitting in the ambiance.

November stood in the middle using his flick/sneak-a-look quirk to search for Charlie Wang-Holder who he bet was drunk by now. His search went to an abrupt halt when he spotted Chase and Ivar seated in the VIP section. Ivar was swapping saliva with some girl, the lights on his side were sparking and fluctuating and people were murmuring if something was faulty with the club's electrical connections.

Chase, who had two girls sprawled on each of his laps, looked rather bored. He took a mouthful of his beer and then narrowed his eyes when he spotted November. His gaze immediately brimmed with fire and November was forced to look away.

"Shit, shit, shit. I just saw Quentin. There's no way he won't recognize me like this. I thought he was supposed to be at home, mourning his late ex-girlfriend." Macey complained, pulling November's hand, "we have to get that cockwomble and leave quickly."

"Yeah, Chase and Ivar are here two and I think Chase just saw me." November broke out in a sweat.

"There's no point making a fuss about this. He doesn't know it's you. Maybe you caught his eye or something because you look like a complete girl. And pretty too." Macey assured him.

"Never call me a girl, or pretty." November bared his teeth at Macey and then flinched when he felt a presence behind him. Both he and Macey whirled their heads around and saw Chase Adams.

"Hey pretty," November's bully pulled closer to his side with a smile. And Macey bit back a snicker.

"I've been observing you and I noticed you seem totally out of place," Chase jammed his hands in his pockets, trying to look a bit devilishly charming.

"Are you a first-timer?"

November nodded with a fake smile.

"That's fine. You can come join me and my friend in the VIP section."

November peered into the VIP section and his eyes widened when he finally saw Charlie Wang-Holder, completely sloshed and seeming like he'd pass out any moment.

"Found him in the VIP," he whispered into Macey's ear.

"Accept Chase's offer," Macey whispered back and Chase cleared his throat.

"Fine..." November started to speak but got hit in the back by Macey, as a reminder to sound feminine.

"Let's go.." he said in a low effeminate irritating voice and Macey mouthed to him that he was awful.

They went into the VIP and the whole time Chase spoke to November, he barely paid any attention to him. His eyes were focused on Charlie Wang-Holder. It was midnight, a new day and he needed to rescue his sister before dawn. He had no idea where Stacey Calhoun was but he knew the information he'd get from Charlie Wang-Holder, he could save her within five minutes.

Macey noticed November's discomfort and leaned closer to him, away from a perverted Ivar who was hitting on her. She was trying so hard to refrain from landing a punch on his hawk nose.

"You can slow down time, can you not?"

"Wait a minute, I can!" November exclaimed with wide eyes, drawing everyone's attention to him. It seemed he forgot for a while that he had such a quirk.

"Good, let's take Charlie out of here."

November nodded and immediately held time still, making things and people move at a turtle's pace. He grabbed Charlie together with his chair and used his flick quirk to pull him out and hid him in the darkened corner like he had planned.

He figured he couldn't slow down time. He could only move faster than time and he brought out Macey.

"Woah, we could've done this the whole time instead of going through the headache of wearing make-up and skimpy dresses."  Macey puffed out an explosive breath.

"I think it'd have been harder getting into the club," November replied, taking his wig off and dumping it on the ground.

They observed a deep-slumbered, snoring-mess Charlie Wang-Holder and tried to wake him up but it was futile.

"Shit, this isn't going as we planned," November complained.

"We need to look for a way to get cracking and wake him up." Macey puffed out.

"And after that? I'll bet he'll just mumble and go back to sleep."

"That means we need help?"

"Yes…Ivar Johansson. The dude has an electrifying quirk. He can use a mild electrostatic charge on Charlie." November suggested.

"You just exhibited a careful thought." Macey gave him a firm nod.

"First, we tie up Charlie." November went off running and came back within a second with ropes from a nearby stall.

"Did you break in?" Macey inquired but he didn't respond.

Within another second, he pulled a sleeping Charlie up with his chair and tied him up.

"Now what's left?" November asked Macey, taking a step away from Charlie to stand beside her.

And she looked at him.

"Ivar Johansson,"
