Floyd spends his night fixing their things. He couldn't stop crying while picking up their things one by one.

"Floyd."

Floyd looked at the door when he heard someone calling him. It was Raquel. Their neighbors. She was looking at him sadly.

"Is it Roxane again?" she asked.

Floyd sighed. "If you are here to nag me, please go. A lot of things happened to me already today."

His shoulders slumped as he arranged the chairs and tables. They took his son and messed up their home. Fortunately, none of their belongings were damaged.

Raquel just shook her head and helped Floyd. She just returned from work when she learned about what happened to Floyd. She immediately went to Floyd's house to check on her friend. Raquel has been a friend of Floyd since her college days too. She was the one who helped Floyd move into their apartment. She always knew that Roxane was not good for him. But Floyd really loves Roxane so she couldn't do anything and just watch. It is hard for her to see her friend hurt like this. Floyd is like a brother to her, that's why she cared for him.

After they finished cleaning. Floyd just sat in the living room looking emotionless. He still can't believe what happened today. He felt very tired. His head hurts and he can feel the swelling in his eyes.

"Did you eat?" Raquel asked but Floyd did not answer. "I will check on us if we still have food." She looked at Floyd sadly and then went out of the house.

When Floyd noticed that he was alone at their house. He started crying. He is like a bird that has lost its wings now that its mother and daughter are no longer in its nest. He keeps asking himself what he did wrong and these things happen. He did everything. He was good to people he knew were not good to him. Especially Roxane.

"Why, Roxane? Why?” 

He lay down on the chair and continued to cry. His feelings are very heavy. He feels that he is a very useless person because Roxane was able to leave him. Of the girls, he loves the most.

Raquel saw Floyd already sleeping when she went back to the house. She shook her head and put the food in the kitchen. She just put it in the refrigerator and left a note for Floyd to eat when he woke up. She also took a blanket from the room and put it on Floyd. Raquel couldn’t help but feel mad at Roxane. She always knew that Roxane is an ambitious woman. But she never expected that it would be like this. 

“You are crazy, Roxane.” 

The next day, Floyd went to his work. He still gets up even though he feels lost. Also, he is hoping to see Roxane at the company. He will not stop pursuing her until she forgives him. He doesn’t know what he did wrong but he will do everything just to put his family back together. 

Floyd put his ID on the system. But the machine sounds an alarm. He looked at it and saw that his ID was not accepted by the machine. 

“What is wrong with this?” he asked. Floyd went to the guards standing on the other side of the machine. “Sir! Can I ask why my ID is not accepted?” 

“Let me take a look at it.” 

Floyd gave his ID to the guard. The guard tried to put the ID in the machine like Floyd did but the same thing happened.

“I’ll take a look inside, sir. Please wait here.” 

Floyd nodded and went to the waiting area. It’s still early so he still has time. After a few minutes, he saw the guard near him. He stands up and is about to go to him but he notices that he is holding a box. The guard put the box on the glass table in front of Floyd. 

“Sir. You are already fired, that's why your ID is not accepted. Starting today, you cannot enter the company premises. Other instructions will be sent to your email, said the management.” 

“What did you say?” Floyd asked confusedly. He looked at the box and saw that it was all his things. Floyd shook his head and looked at the guard again. “That is impossible! Let me talk with my manager!” 

The guard shook his head and stopped Floyd. “We had an instruction already, sir. If you don’t cooperate, We will take you out by force.” 

“No! I will not accept it! I work from here and only the management will tell me if I am fired! Also, I did not do anything for them to fire me!” he shouted. Because of his voice, the other employee passing them looked at him. 

“It was him, right?” 

“Yes! The maniac!” 

“I can’t believe he still has the guts to come here after what he did last night.” 

“Guess he has been fired already. That is right. We can’t afford a stalker inside the company.” 

Floyd suddenly felt confused. He thinks it's because of what happened last night. But it's impossible! Why do they sympathize with his work? He did everything just to get into this company! He can't handle it if he loses it too!

“Sir, let me talk with my manager or team leader. Please! They can’t just fire me!” 

“You can leave now, sir. We are sorry.” 

“Sorry? No! None of you are sorry!” he blurted and took his box. Floyd walks out of the building. He tried his best not to cry again because he doesn’t want others to judge him anymore. How could they fire him easily? Just because he was trying to make his family complete? Floyd stopped walking and cursed as he looked at the tall building in front of him. He put the box below and tried calling his team leader. But no one accepts his call. Then an email pops out on his notification from the company. It was telling him that he is already not working for him. That the company will send him his last payment. There are terms too that he cannot enter the company premises ever again. Floyd almost throws his phone but he stops realizing that he can’t lose it too. He sat down on the pavement hopelessly. He looked up at the sky without thinking of the people walking in front of him. 

“Now what? Do I really deserve this? What did I do wrong?” he said, almost crying. “All my life I tried my best to give my best on everything. Now you took everything!” Floyd shouted. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Then he looked down and started crying. But he wipes his tears again when he notices two cars stopped in front of the company. There he saw Dwayne get out of the car. He opened the car door on the other side and saw Roxane. 

Floyd gradually felt angry when he saw the two together. His head got even hotter when Dwayne kissed Roxane on the lips. Without thinking right, Floyd got up and ran to them.
