The next day, Aiden and Ariana were ready to go to Sprefix Company. Aiden had thought of everything. 

He ensured that he didn't miss a single thing. He also made sure nothing was forgotten to bring, while Ariana just kept quiet. Ariana's head was thinking about what her fate would be at that time.

"Let's go!" Aiden invited Ariana to go.

It broke Ariana's daydream. The girl immediately gasped. "Now?"

"Yes." Aiden nodded his head. 

Ariana's face looked so lazy that Aiden asked. "When do you want us to leave?"

Ariana exhaled her breath heavily because she was feeling very uneasy. Aiden knew Arianna's anxiety. Therefore, Aiden tried to calm her down.

"Listen! Don't worry about this!” 

“I'm sure today will go well. So all you have to do is concentrate and believe that we will return with the signature of our cooperation later."

Ariana listened carefully to Aiden's words, which were very soothing to her feelings. Even for a moment, Ariana's heart felt so calm and sure that what Aiden said would fully happen.

Finally, Arianna nodded slowly. She tried to be calmer.

Aiden smiled faintly. Then, he started walking first. They both walk side by side. 

Ariana was slightly behind Aiden. Apart from still feeling awkward with Aiden, she also wanted to hide her lingering fear, even if it was a little bit. Meanwhile, for Aiden, that was a great time to show that he could do that heavy task so well.

While in the lobby, the two of them crossed paths with Vincent (the manager) stopped them both and said, "All of us will wait for you to come back with good results."

Then the man gave a crooked smile. He was sure that Aiden and Ariana will fail. 

For Vincent, he was just waiting for Ariana and Aiden to return from the Sprefix Company with the news that they have failed. Then, Aiden and Ariana will be fired.

"Okay. Just wait for the good news in a moment!" replied Aiden, feeling very confident.

Meanwhile, Arianna was still afraid. She didn't even dare to look at Vincent.

Then Aiden continued walking again. They were leaving Vincent alone there. It was pointless to argue with the man about Aiden.

That time, Aiden and Ariana were already in the parking lot of Sprefix Company. They still had not gotten out of the car. More precisely, Aiden was asking his friend for information, hoping that this time someone would help him of the car. 

He wanted to let Kay know that he was already in front of the company at that time and that he would soon enter. He also hoped that Kay would ask somebody to escort them when they meet the president. 

Aiden waited a while for an answer from his friend. But because he hadn't gotten an answer for fifteen minutes, Aiden decided to get out of the car first.

The two of them walked hand in hand this time through the lobby of the building and intended to go straight to the elevator. They intend to meet with the president of Sprefix Company but just as her feet were about to enter the elevator, a woman ran fast towards Aiden and Ariana.

"Sorry! Please wait a minute!” She shouted sternly.

Aiden and Ariana did not move from that spot.

"I'm sorry! Can I ask you something?” 

“Both of you have just come, but both of you want to go to the elevator. That elevator will take you to the president's office.”

“Do you have any prior appointments with him?" asked the receptionist firmly.

"We would like to meet the president of the company."

"Have you had an appointment with the president of the company? If not, you can't enter that elevator!"

"That’s not polite!” She shouted.

"Yes." Aiden nodded his head.

"No," said Arianna.

They answered together. This immediately made the receptionist feel confused and suspicious.

Ariana was also very surprised by the answer that was given by Aiden. She felt weird. 

She frowned and looked at Aiden with a confused look. Ariana was confused because as Ariana knew, they didn't have an appointment before, but why does Aiden answer that they had made an appointment? Does Aiden lie?

"We already have an appointment." Aiden spoke again.

He reassured the receptionist once again. "Let us in! If you don't believe me, call your boss and request a meeting!"

That thing made the receptionist feel very confused. Should she let the two of them meet the president?

"What's wrong?" A man asked them. This immediately made them all turn towards the source of the voice, and they looked at that man.

Ariana rolled her eyes when she saw the figure currently walking towards her. Ariana knew the person. That person was Samuel's senior when they were still studying at the same university. Ariana still remembered that Samuel was crazy about her.

"Both of them entered the elevator to meet the president of the company without permission. So, I asked them.”

“He said that they have an appointment with the president. So, I'm confused about whether I should let them meet the president or not." The receptionist explained.

"Thank you!" Samuel (the manager of Sprefix Company) thanked. 

He nodded his head and let the receptionist leave. "Now, just leave them!” 

“Let me take care of them! Don't let the president meet the poor like them!”

"The president is busy. He is having a meeting now. So, he can't be bothered.” 

“Don't bother him for just meeting these poor people!” He told them about the president's condition. That time, Samuel intended to solve the problem himself with his sly act.

"Hi, Ariana! We haven't seen each other in a long time." Samuel greeted her first with a very strange and disdainful look.

Ariana didn't answer. The girl was silent. She never loved him when their first meeting occurred.

"What are you doing here?" asked Samuel again.

"We want to meet the president of this company." Aiden answered. This time, he didn't like Samuel's attitude, especially after seeing Ariana's facial expression.

Samuel smiled slyly. He felt that he could take the opportunity to get what he wanted from Arianna.

"I asked Arianna. Not you!" Samuel quipped later.

Aiden increasingly disliked the man in front of him.

"I accompany her. We have the same goal.” 

“So I also have the right to answer. Now quickly call the president!" Aiden replied very coldly.

Samuel seemed to roll his eyes lazily. Then he came closer to Ariana and tried to touch the girl's arm, but Ariana quickly pushed Samuel's hand away.

"What are you doing?" Ariana rebelled.

"Hey! Why are you so sensitive?”

“We haven't seen each other in a long time. You shouldn't have treated me like that." Samuel played a face that looked really annoying to Arianna.

"Don't you remember that we loved each other in the past?" asked Samuel.

Ariana furrowed her brows. She felt very disgusted by Samuel's attitude.

"Watch your words! I never like you.” 

“You're the only one who's obsessed with me!" Ariana got mad. 

She couldn't understand Samuel's attitude, especially since Aiden was standing next to Ariana. It made Arianna very embarrassed.

"Hey! Why are you doing that?" Samuel said it again. 

This time he flashed his crooked smile again. His face also looked very arrogant.

Then Samuel took a few more steps to get closer to Ariana. Then he leaned forward more.

Rather, he would whisper something in Ariana's ear. The girl was very surprised by all that, but she was too late to dodge. So, Arianna could only turn her face to the side.

"Listen! You want to meet the president of this company, right?" Ariana nodded. 

"It's very easy, but before that, I have a condition that you must do." The man whispered. 

He paused slightly in his words. Samuel was seen showing a lopsided smile.

Ariana gulped down her own saliva. Hearing those whispers gave me a strange feeling.

"You have to sleep with me before you go see the president of this company. If you don't want to do that, don't expect to be able to see him!”

“You can never meet him forever." he continued.

This infuriated Arianna. The girl was immediately furious. Then, she pushed Samuel's body away from her.

"F*ck you! I won't go along with your cunning plan!”

“I don't need to meet the president. It doesn't matter either!" Ariana shouted very loudly.

This made Aiden feel very surprised and wonder what the manager was actually whispering to Ariana.
