Joan runs her slender fingers over the fabric of her lace dress, the rough creases protesting against the smooth motion. She heaves a breath, memories of her last moments with Brock swirl in her mind. She swipes at a stray tear before it leaves the safety of her eyes.Brock had been an excellent assistant and, in her mind, he still is. She coats her lips a final time with the black lipstick she always keeps in her purse. Today is going to be a long day!She throws in a white handkerchief, the family emblem Brock always wears and the lipstick in her matching purse. She steps out of the room to the gloomy air, the stench of masked pain and sadness staining the pleasant aroma of the flowers maids carry as they pass by the group, their heads in a bow.Every member standing at attention on both sides of Joan is dressed immaculately in an Armani black suit. She nods to each man in acknowledgment as she passes between each of them, her eyes, however, focused forward, to the point where the pa

It still hurt home everywhere, in his dreams and everything he had done since that fateful night, he could still picture Brock's body hitting the ground. He was forced to drink to take the thought away from his mind, but it was stuck in.Even under the blankets, the night air felt cold as it freezes over his chest till that chilly air stings his lungs, and he groans heavily, he states the clock by his bedside, and groans when he sees what the time was.His fault was curled into a ball, shivering— He shut his eyes only to open them when he heard that bullet sound again at the back of his mind.Similar to the most tragic point of his life, it was raining heavily. A turn clasped, forcing him to open his eyes to the surrounding darkness and swore heavily as he pulled himself away to the switch—The light isn’t on, and the hum of the rain as it patterned against the window filled the room. It’s too cold. As he drew in a deep breath, sitting up in bed, feeling around forAnything with a power

He muttered as he took the glass from her hands…She stared at him for what seemed like a while. "You never really told me what happened that night." She muttered. An unforbidden haze hovered around the room and all of a sudden he could feel it getting heated up, he stopped right there in his tracks while making his way to the window, his gaze resting against under the orchid tree. She walked in till she was standing close to him, she had a robe over herself now making the room

Anger and anxiety felt heavy in his chest when he recalled what she had insinuated about him killing Brock or being the cause of his death. Even if that was far from the truth, he still felt hurt by her words enough that he could feel it weighing him down deeply.Soon as he left where she was, he headed to the room and pushed open the door with a slam, a table flew across the room and smashed against the walls. He was furious. While trying to think about the entire situation, he thought he was being too cynical about it. Perhaps he should have just paid less attention to the fact that he was overreacting from something she thought rather than exchange words. He headed upstairs and decided he needed to do something about the fact that his heart was going at an insane pace. At that moment, he stopped right there. He never hated a thing in his life. The way he hated that moment, he resented the whole condition that had led him to the point, he hated the fact that he hadn't done anything a

Logan pulls the brown bag over the man’s head, a hem of the cloth bag catching in the man’s ear. Logan grunts and lifts the bag forcefully, ignoring the man’s cry in protest as the piece drags on his big ear. The man wails louder which only serves to annoy Logan even more he drags the bag so hard he is sure there will be a bruise the next day as proof of this moment.“I advise you to stop producing whatever sound it is you’re making right now if you like that particular part of his.” He orders, pinning a glare on the screaming banshee. What an excuse for a man.The crying immediately stops and Logan nods, “Now you have two options since I’m feeling quite generous tonight.” He begins but his smile is anything but generous, it’s a cross between a sinister smile and a glare. The man shifts in his seat despite the ropes binding him tightly to the chair.“You could either talk and I make it quick or…” He drawls, picking up a knife from the collection of sharps on a stool behind him. “You ke

He changed rooms, the picture was probing his heart and he felt worried . He looked at the sign again, already he had sent a picture of what it looked like to Joanne, a message notification beeped in and he stared at her message.Joanne : We need to get you away as fast as possible.Logan: You are still refusing to tell me what this sign is for.Three dots popped up to show that she was typing as he awaited her reply, he drew the blinds aside and stared out at the cold night.Outside the night at the beach side was dark enough that he couldn't make out anything. His phone buzzed.Joanne: Stay indoors , they are around!Logan: Thanks! He dropped the phone and pulled out his gun. He turned and saw Wade stroll into the room, his gun still steaming, a dog wailing in the distance. Confused, Logan tried to process what just happened. Two other men from the Mafia rushed in as Logan fixed Wade with the most absurd gaze."You scum —"His hands curled around his collar as he shoved him against the wall, the room echoed with their heart beating heavily from agitation. "What did you do that for?" He questioned. "Were you blind to see that I was questioning him?""But …But, you were under duress, it is just normal I shoot. " Of all things that could be blamed it was surprising that he chose to do it in the most disgusting way and blame mere instincts. He was enraged, Wade's face turned red as he gasped for air, the other two men watched with eyes widened, the shock glistering in their eyes.He loosened his hands and Wade fell to the ground with a thug gasping for air. "Take care of the body." He picked up his bag. "He is yours now." ******Home, sweet home that should have been

He walked afterwards, moving gently down the steps one at a time. At the moment he considered telling the word he just heard to her but didn't, at least not till he had his facts right. But if there was anything he would let himself believe, it was the fact that he found the mole and Brock of blessed memories was right after all. After what seemed like a moment later, Logan appeared, his thick hair mussed from the number of times he ran his fingers through them , he had a broody expression even bloodier than usual. As he walked away donning nothing but a sleeveless shirt, running shorts, and shoes with a gun strapped to his thigh. He stepped out to the gentle rays of the sunlight with nothing but his shoes with its lacing tagging along as he walked past the guard manning the door."Tell her that I went for a run if she asks." He had barely said the words when he saw her yawning as she made way down the step with running shoes as well.Apparently, It was Logan first time he was seeing this a
